12月1日，张家界市第29个“世界艾滋病日”宣传慰问活动在永定区卫生计生局举行。张家界市委常委、市委宣传部部长郭天保出席活动。活动现场还为40余名贫困艾滋病患者及感染者代表发放了慰问金和慰问物资。截至2016年11月23日，张家市与去年同期持平，增长趋势减缓。
