据了解，今年我省世界地球日宣传周活动时间为4月17日至4月23日。4月21日至23日每晚7时30分，河北地质大学将免费播放《海洋》等地球环境保护影片。4月22日世界地球日当天，我省还将在河北地质大学举办河北省第48个世界地球日主题宣传活动暨河北省“李四光中队”示范校创建活动启动仪式，河北地质大学地球科学博物馆将向社会公众免费开放。

活动期间，我省柳江地学博物馆、泥河湾自然保护区等科普基地，也将向社会公众免费开放。
