每年的9月26日是世界避孕日，一个国际性的纪念日。在第九个“世界避孕日”来临之际，秦皇岛作为全国6个省市承办城市之一，精心谋划，安排部署了丰富多彩的主题宣传周活动。按照预热、高潮、收官三个时间节点，筹备了青春健康主题艺术作品征集大赛、世界避孕日主题广场宣传、让爱发“声”歌唱展示会、走进高校主题讲座宣传、走进非公企业和武警部队义诊宣传、世界避孕日“爱要有一套”颁奖大会暨健走大赛六项大型活动。

The environmental health of our school is not good enough. 在第19个“世界读书日”来临之际，繁荣街道新风社区采取多种方式，开展了一系列的“送书、送学”活动。

一是开展“送字典进校园”活动。4月22日上午，社区工作者为文化小学一年级的同学们送来了“学生规范字典”，培养学生们正确书写汉字，弘扬中华民族文化。

二是开展“为留守儿童和贫困学生送书”活动。4月22日下午，新风社区与辖区文化小学相关负责人为辖区留守儿童和贫困学生送去了他们喜爱的图书。并教导他们把看过的书籍与其他同学互换，通过这项活动的开展，拓展了留守儿童的知识面，丰富他们的课外生活，加深孩子们之间的友谊，更使孩子们感受到来自朋友和社会的关心。

三是开展“送书籍进机关”活动。新风社区针对街道领导每天工作繁忙没有时间到社区图书室读书这一现象，将一些“世界名著、伟人传记、群众路线”等方面的书籍送到机关给领导阅读学习，并希望他们在看完后每人亲手写一篇简短的读后感，从而带动整个街道及社区的读书、写作热情。

今后，社区还将通过张贴标语、发放宣传单、悬挂条幅、送书等多种形式，在辖区内逐步形成“终身学习成为习惯、快乐阅读成为风尚”的良好氛围，为创造和谐文明社区打下坚实基础。
