7月1日，泰山区省庄镇开展了“7.11”世界人口宣传活动，举办以家庭幸福为主题的文艺演出。

在2016年世界防治结核病日来临之际，国家卫生计生委确定"社会共同努力，消除结核危害"这样一个宣传主题，旨在希望全社会共同努力，各级医疗卫生机构履行相关职责;同时动员社会各界力量，尽可能地发现更多的结核病患者，并让每一位结核病患者都能够及时得到诊断和治疗，获得治愈，从而达到控制结核病疫情、消除结核病对公众危害的最终目的。

为了让结核病防治知识家喻户晓，提高人民群众结核病防治知识知晓率，动员全社会参与和关注结核病控制工作，沈阳市胸科医院举办了"3.24世界防治结核病日义诊宣传暨健康促进大型活动"。沈阳市卫计委党组副书记、副主任都英杰，同济大学教授(国家卫计委专家咨询委员会委员、中国防痨协会常务理事)肖和平到会并讲话。

活动包含结核病防治知识进社区，即为沈阳市大东区社区卫生服务中心发放宣传资料手册;结核病防治知识进校园，即肖和平教授为沈阳大学师生讲授结核病防治知识，让全体师生不断增强自我保健意识，远离疾病;结核病防治知识惠百姓，即为百姓发放小纸巾，让市民了解，肺结核主要通过咳嗽、打喷嚏等经呼吸道进行传播，作为文明城市中的一员，我们不应该随意吐痰，遵守文明道德，倡导文明卫生的健康生活方式。
