From my point of view, we should change ourselves when the situation can’t be changed any more. Difficulties hide in every corner of our life so we have to face them at times. But the problem is that we sometimes are not able to change the challenging situations at all as our abilities are limited. When it comes, we’d better change our attitude towards these difficulties. Something like that happened to me once. There was a time when I was laughed at by my classmates while I was walking. I was puzzled so I asked them why they laughed at me. If your parents love you and care about you, then your personality will be healthy and happy. If your parents dont, then your personality could sad and withdrawn. A persons personality determines his or her future. So if you come across someone who is often worried, you can try and help them or tell them to seek help from a councilor.

我的爸爸是位大数学家，什么题都难不倒他，当然，谁都认识他。高高的鼻梁上，架着一个黑框眼镜，一看，就知道他是一个博士。今天，他一脸严肃滴收拾东西，他有什么重要的事?一打听才知道，他原来是要去看望老师。我疑惑地问爸爸：“您怎么还有老师?”爸爸则拍拍我的图，说：“这些都是秘密》”我请求爸爸带我去见见他的老师，爸爸考虑了片刻，说到：“那好吧。”不过你要安安静静的，不能胡闹……我答应了他所有的要求，我们便上路了。

我本以为他会带我去哪个大学里，可是，我们居然来到了我所就读的小学并来到了我曾上过的一(3)班，这时，我终于见到了爸爸的老师，这个老师竟然是我的数学老师，也是爸爸曾经的老师。老师拍拍爸爸的肩膀，说：“你这些年，在数学是上成就确实很大，我们全校都以你为荣!”爸爸却谦虚地说：“我要感谢老师您，是您人我懂得了更多的知识。”

这时，我才明白，爸爸虽然是数学家，可是他也有一年级的老师。

Depend on Yourself

Depend on yourself" is what nature says to every man。 Parents can help you。 Teachers can help you。 Others still can help you。 But all these people only help you to help yourself。

There have been many great men in history。 Many of them were very poor in childhood， and had no uncles， aunts or friends to help them。 Schools were few and not very good。 They could not depend on them for education。 They saw how it was， and set to work with their strength to know something。 They worked their own way till they became well-known。 One of the most famous teachers in England used to tell his pupils， "1 cannot make worthy men of you， but I can help you make men of yourselves。"

Some young men dont try their best to make themselves valuable to human beings。 They can not gain achievements unless they see their weakness and change their course。 They are nothing now， and will be nothing as long as they live， unless they accept the advice of their parents and teachers， and depend on their own efforts。

依靠自己

“依靠自己”是自然告诉每个人的。 父母可以帮助你。老师可以帮助你。其他人也可以帮助你。但是所有这些人都只是帮你帮助你自己。

历史上有许多伟人。其中很多伟人小时候都非常贫穷，他们没有叔叔、姑姑或朋友帮助他们。 学校数量少，质量差。他们也无法依靠学校接受教育。他们认识到这一情况，然后就开始自己努力去学习一些事情。他们排除万难直到最后成功。英国最为著名的其中一位老师曾经这样告诉他的学生：“我没法使你们出人头地，但我可以帮助你们做人”。

有些年轻人不努力使自己成为对人类有益的人。除非他们能够认识到自己的弱点，改变自己的方向，否则他们就不会取得成就。除非他们能够接受父母、老师的建议，依靠自己的努力，否则他们现在一无所成，而且终其一生都会一无所成。
