Throughout history man has changed his physical environment in order to improve his way of life. With the tools of technology he has altered many physical features of the earth. He has transformed woodlands and prairies into farms and made lakes and reserviors out of rivers for irrigation purposes or hydroelectric power. Last Sunday, I went sightseeing with my friends in the Fairy Lake Park. The park was full of freshness and beauty of spring, with the sun shining and birds singing. 环境保护对我们来说并不是一个新问题，我国政府也早就提出了明确的治理目标。作为现实生活中的每一个普通人，虽然不可能都直接从事环保工作，但我们完全可以从小事做起，从我做起。

当看到洗手间的水龙头在滴水时，是不是能够举手关上呢?当电池用完后能否分类收藏处理而不是随手扔掉呢?当购物时能否自觉不使用超薄塑料袋呢?一件件小事虽然都很不起眼，但却体现我们究竟具备了多少环保意识。

回收1吨废纸可再造出800千克好纸，可以挽救17棵大树。回收20个废餐盒可以造出一个漂亮的笔筒。回收一个玻璃瓶节省的能量，可使灯泡亮4个小时。回收1个铝罐就等于节约了半个铝罐的石油。所以我们应将垃圾分类安放，由有关部门回收后再生产再利用!
