这几年我们的长江、黄河上游的人们砍伐树木，不保护环境，使得长江、黄河上游的水和土壤流失的很厉害，长江下游经常发洪水，黄河的水里有好多泥沙。我们新疆的塔里木河是我国最长的内陆河，塔里木河岸边的胡杨林是可以用来吸住泥土不会出现沙尘暴，可是人们在塔里木河的上游大面积开荒截水使得下游河水干枯，造成上百万亩的胡杨林死亡。至使本来就很贫瘠的土地，更加沙漠化。我们乌鲁木齐的人家做饭、取暖的烟囱冒出来的黑烟和汽车尾气的大量排放使的空气被污染。使乌鲁木齐的冬天看不到蓝天，雪也是黑的。

我在电视看见韩国的饭店用的筷子都是金属做的，可以反复用。可是在我们国家大大小小的饭店全是用的一次性筷子，据我了解一棵生长五十年的桦树只够十家饭店一天用的筷子的数量，中国有多少家饭店?一天要用多少棵桦树啊!!

对于我们校学生来讲要保护环境，首先要从不要乱人垃圾果皮纸屑，见到有人乱扔垃圾要给他讲道理。大人们也不要砍伐树木，这样会污染环境。要从节约每一滴水、每一度电做起、从小树立保护环境的意识，做到保护环境，人人有责。使我们的家园更美好!

The environmental issues facing each country are not unrelated to the well being of the rest of the world。 The impact is long term and international in scope。 Without international cooperation and agreement to address such environmental issues as glacial melting at the South Pole， depletion of the ozone layer， water pollution， air polution， etc。， the environmental conditions of the world will deteriorate to the detriment of every nation， not just those that ignore or lack the resources and technology to resolve their individual environmental problems。

Stepping into the new century, environment pollution has become more serious than ever since. There are different kinds of pollution. The government should put forward some more strict laws to prevent the environment from being further polluted. And they should let people know more about the importance of environment protection. And we should find the balance between the economic growth and environmental protection. Plant more trees in the deserts and stop cutting down the forest. Forbid the factories to pour the waste water into the rivers directly. Encourage people to use public transportations to work. Both government and ordinary people should join hands together to make our home clean and fresh again. Only in this way, our earth could be a better place to live in.

对于保护环境，我想提几个建议：

1、节约资源：节水为荣，随时关上水龙头，千万不能浪费我们的水资源。

2、分类回收：不乱丢弃废电池、废塑料等垃圾、废物。

3、重复使用：尽量少使用一次性用品，多使用耐用品。如，不使用一次性性塑料和餐盒，减少白色污染。

4、爱护树木：植树造林，爱护我们身边的每一寸绿地身、每一株花草、每一片树木。

5.保护塘河：让所有的市民共同参与到保护塘河地行动中去，让我们美丽的温瑞塘河不再哭泣。
