The Lunar New Year

The Lunar New Year occasion to the Chinese people. It lasts about the first four days of the year, during which people do not work except for the workers on duty. Students do not go to school, and shops are closed.

I read the Chinese version of “Camille” a few years ago. At that time I was deeply moved by the main character Marguerite Gautier. “Camille” or “The Lady of the Camellias” by Alexandre Dumas, fils, is the story of Marguerite Gautier, a young courtesan, or kept woman, in Paris in the mid 1800s, and how she falls in love with a young man, Armand Duval, and then tries to escape from her questionable past. Duval, Armands father, came to her, pleading for her to leave Armand to save both Armands reputation and that of his younger innocent sister, Marguerite saw a way to become pure of heart, if not in body. She felt that it was her duty, because she loved Armand so much, to do this even though it meant giving up her own happiness and hurting Armand temporarily. She reluctantly returned to her former life, knowing that some day Armand would forgive her. Sadly, she died in debt and basically alone, except for her one female friend, Julie Duprat, who helped her during her illness. She had her journal sent to Armand after her death, explaining why she had made the choices she had. I think Dumass last few lines about Marguerite being the exception, not the rule were quite true, and I also agreed with his view that while her lifestyle could not be condoned, we as a society assume that all of these type of women are cold and heartless, while this may not always be the case. A person can make the wrong choices in life when they are young, and try to redeem themselves, but sometimes past situations prevent them from changing their lives, even though they desperately wish to do so. This applies to both men and women in many different types of circumstances: involvement in crime; drug or alcohol abuse; gambling; prostitution; financial problems; poor marriage choices; etc. And this is the fact, which exists in the whole society.

As far as the other characters in the book, I think Marguerite was right in saying that no one truly cared about her, but only wanted something from her, the only exceptions being Armand and Julie Duprat. Of course, the Comte de G. and Comte de N. wanted her body and appearance. The Duke needed to “wake up and smell the coffee” and realize that she could never replace his dead daughter. If he truly cared, he could have helped her leave her lifestyle without “keeping” her himself. And lastly, Prudence was a blood-sucking leech who used Marguerite almost worse than the men. I also think she was jealous of the fact that Marguerite had so much more courage than herself and someone truly loved her.

现在，我在梧村中学读书，这不仅是现代的，而且还很漂亮。我的学校里的老师是那样的善良和勤劳，我非常爱他们。所有的老师都把我们学生当作自己的孩子。他们也对我们严格要求，对他们的工作要求严格。我和我的同学相处得很好。每当我们学习困难时，我们互相帮助。我有很多兴趣爱好，如跳舞、唱歌、看书和运动，我特别喜欢篮球，这让我更聪明，帮助我更快和更好的学习。所以我已经用这种方式改善了我的生活。

厚积薄发需要社会实践，需要具有一颗坚毅不拔，吃苦耐劳之心。“史家之绝唱，无韵之离骚”鲁迅先生对《史记》的评价毫不吝惜。没有司马迁的《史记》，多少历史事件会埋在厚厚的黄土里，司马迁走遍千山万水，走过狂风乱沙。仔细的了解聆听每一件史实。他即使受到了牢狱之灾，但依旧磨灭不了自己内心那份父亲的嘱托和茫茫历史赋予他的使命，最终铸就千古绝唱《史记》正是因为司马迁具有一颗坚韧的心和不放弃的信念，才不让历史蒙尘，取得辉煌成就。

厚积薄发要不断学习，学会忍耐，到最后一刻抓住机遇，一飞冲天。一代天骄成吉思汗的军队足迹曾踏遍半个世界，他们生活在草原上，喝酒吃肉，痛快乎，豪爽乎。他们拥有健壮的体魄，他们每天与狼相处，看到狼在捕食的一个月前就要做好准备，他们学习到了狼的耐心。成吉思汗作战时就像狼捕食猎物一样，耐心观察把握时机，静若处子动若脱兔，一举拿下，绝不手软。这种能伸能缩，这种果决，才成就了他一代天骄的美名。

当然成功的人是少数，失败的人是多数的。或许大家会觉得有些成功的人有很好的运气，其实不然，只有拼尽全力才能看起来毫不费力，幸运不是上天的恩惠，而是自己拼尽全力努力的结果。在厚积的过程中可能会枯燥无味，这就需要你有一颗坚毅的心，不惧怕失败和坎坷，顺着最初的梦想，努力奔跑，跌倒了，那就睡足了再爬起来!

等到天泛白，花自开的时候，你定会绽出天下最美好的笑容。

淡黑淡黑的头发中掺杂着几根白发，脸色稍有些发黑，有一对炯炯有神的眼睛——他就是我的爸爸。

爸爸已经四十不惑了，可内心还是童心未泯。在我上三年级的时候，一个偶然的机会，我在一个布满灰尘的纸箱里找到了一个溜溜球。一个晚上，我正在写作业，写完后我小心翼翼地打开抽屉从里面拿出溜溜球，我正准备玩，因为房门没关的缘故，这一幕被爸爸看见了。

爸爸一把将溜溜球抢了过去，迫不及待地操作了起来——他的手指快速地摆动了起来，眼睛像磁铁一样，一直目不转睛地盯着那个高速旋转的溜溜球，他先将溜溜球往后一抛，球高高飞起时，在空中划过，形成了一道优美的曲线;他再把它收起，往下一丢，球又转了起来，接着，爸爸就做起了高难度的花式动作。爸爸把他小时候玩溜溜球的趣事告诉了我，他现在玩的正是花式技巧“睡眠”和大名鼎鼎的“溜狗”，厉害着呢!妈妈突然走进来，说道：“跟个“老顽童”一样。”便把爸爸手中的溜溜球递给了我。

还有一次，我们全家去深圳动物园，在路上，我们看到了一种“自动纸鸢”，“一转就能飞”，那个头发苍白的老奶奶介绍道。爸爸可能是又变成“老顽童”了，花十元买了两架，弟弟一架，我一架，爸爸拿着我的那架“绿纸鸢”一转，用力地朝着天上一掷，那纸鸢马上在天上高高地飞起，飞了几转，掉在了爸爸跟前，爸爸就一直玩、一直玩，“老顽童!”弟弟突然叫道，爸爸大概觉得不好意思，所以迅速地把纸鸢递到我手上。

这就是我的“老顽童”爸爸，是不是童心未泯呢?

“太阳光，金亮亮，雄鸡唱三唱……”我哼着小曲，赶往世纪公园。为了帮山区贫困孩子筹集善款，我们小队组织了一项有意义的活动——卖报。到达世纪公园门口，分发好各自要卖出的报纸，我们开始工作。

“公园里人真多呀!该往哪儿开始呢?”我左顾右盼，无从着手!这时，人群中跃出一位年轻女子很是抢眼——褐色长发飘逸，脖颈、手腕配饰华丽，金属铆钉长筒靴更彰显她实力不凡。我暗自揣测，这位姐姐定会慷慨解囊，买下第一份报纸!

深吸口气，一路小跑上前：“姐姐早上好!我是为贫困孩子筹集善款的……”“什么善不善的”话未说完就被无情打断：“骗子!”这位小姐极不耐烦地嘀咕道，加快步伐从我面前闪过。第一次卖报就被泼冷水，出师不利啊!

鼓足劲再来!往林荫道上搜寻目标，却发现一边的长椅上坐着位年迈的老者。向这位爷爷推销报纸，让他晒晒太阳、看看报纸岂不美哉?欣喜地凑前，孰料老人家见我手持《环球时报》，遗憾地摆手，他家有订阅!

第二次出兵又受阻，自信心倍受打击，我有点沮丧，甚至有些后悔当初一时冲动加入这项活动。可转念又想，我是在做善事，为了贫困孩子，我这点委屈算啥，其他同学不也同我一样在努力吗?想到这儿，心情顿觉舒畅，不禁咧嘴吆喝：“卖报啦，为贫困孩子义卖啦!”……

吆喝声吸引众多目光。这时，乐颠颠跑来一位年幼的孩子，她踮脚取走了我手里的一份报纸，塞给我5元钱就跑开了，我要追还给她找零，她却挥挥手，奶声奶气地说：“给山里姐姐念书!”小妹妹的言行让我备受鼓舞：嘴里的吆喝变嘹亮，脚下的步伐更矫健。

又走来位叔叔，笑眯眯地买下了两份报纸，他说他的女儿也为做善事当过报童，看到我们义卖觉得格外亲切……在游客的认可、鼓励、相助下，手里的20份报纸很快销售一空!

反观做报童这件事，我想有信心才是成功的开始。当初若选择放弃，我也就体会不到最后的成功与愉悦。或许上天就是为了坚强我的意志，才设置了美女姐姐和老爷爷拒买报纸的障碍。但开端不顺，并不意味着结局惨淡。其实只有努力尝试，超越自己，才能拥有成长的历练，拥有成功的喜悦!
