I like my school， because my school is very beautiful.

“嘿嘿嘿嘿，哈哈哈哈......”这恐怖的笑声出自小马同学之口，难道是她又有了什么阴谋？错！其实是她们班要举行一次有史以来最伟大的活动--口语竞赛！

为了能在这此口语竞赛中能大展风采，小马同学，也就是我，作了充足的准备......

首先是稿子，平时自认为作文不错的我一气儿写了15篇（其实只需要一篇），然后镜挑细选，选出最“神圣”的稿子。再加以润色修改，一篇“惊天动地”的稿子就出世了！！！

但，一个很重要的问题飘进了我的脑中：

尽管稿子很好，但如果从我那不伦不类的嗓子中出来，那岂不是一朵鲜花插在了牛粪上？于是我苦练嗓子，直到哑了为止（后来真得哑了，好后悔）。

现在只能做一件事——等！在我等的花都谢了的时候，总算是盼到了口语竞赛那天。

正当我要大展身手的时候，老师病了。于是，我做出了我这辈子最大的决定——祈祷：玉帝，王母娘娘，耶稣，主啊，保佑老师块好吧......不过还好由班长主持大局。

我是第六个出场的，快轮到我的时候，我的心由走到跑，由跑到奔，由奔到以美洲豹的速度狂奔，最后居然停了！

轮到我了，我本想脸上带着微笑，迈着自信的脚步，闪亮登场。可是，腿却有一点抖，脸上也不知道是什么表情。到了台上后，大脑一片空白，完全把那篇精彩的稿子给忘了。只好东拉西扯，生编硬造，草草结尾。嗓音也很有特点：哑了还带有哭腔还有点颤音。

回到座位后，我那颗一直在高空飞翔的心总算回到了地面。可想而知，我没拿到名次。

不过，我，即使输得在惨，也证明了自己！

星期天，妈妈在厨房做饭给我和爸爸吃。

一个人坐在沙发上看电视的我伸头看了看妈妈，发现妈妈做饭很辛苦，我也想帮妈妈做点事。我来到厨房门口小声地对妈妈说：“妈妈，可不可以让我做菜呀？”妈妈回头看了看我说：“可以呀，不过你一定要小心哟，火苗是很危险的。”我点了点头：“知道啦！”妈妈先帮我拿一个迷你的小锅，然后帮我拿来我会做的西红柿炒鸡蛋的材料。我先把煤气灶的火打着了，然后沿着锅的边缘倒油，然后将切好的西红柿放上去，再打上鸡蛋。不知是哪出了错，“轰”的一声，火苗穿过的锅底燃烧上来。妈妈听到动静回头一瞧：“怎么了？”妈妈一个跨步来到我的面前，拿起抹布，浸上水，开始向那个锅上拍打。“怎么还不灭呀！”爸爸在房间中听到声响，连忙走了过来，看到眼前的这个场景，爸爸也着了急。爸爸赶紧将煤气灶的开关关掉，但火焰仍然没有平息，火苗还在熊熊燃烧着。爸爸又拿起锅盖“砰”的一下将锅盖盖上。过了一会儿，可能是油烧光了吧，火苗开始渐渐的小了起来，然后消失。我小心翼翼的走过去，揭开锅盖，我伸头一看“啊！”我长叹了一声。爸爸摸着我的脑袋问：“怎么了？”我低着头，小声的说道：“菜已经糊了。”爸爸手放在我的肩膀上，对我说了一句名言：“失败是成功之母，加油！”就爸爸的这句话，又把我的自信心给点燃了。

原来不是每一件事儿都能十全十美，一做就成功的，做菜也是需要技巧和耐心的呀！

失败，一个多么令人沮丧的字眼，它曾经引起多少人的不幸、惊慌和恐惧，因为它会使个人受挫折，会使亲友产生优愁，会使社会受到损失。成功，却是一个诱人的字眼，它引起人们的向往、追求和羡慕。因为它使个人脱颖而出，会使亲友分享欢乐，会使社会大放光彩。但是，事事不尽如人意，成功不因为人们的单纯“向往”而来，失败也不因为人们的恐惧而从不光临。相反，常因为不怕失败，往往能取得较多的成功，而总是害怕失败，却又偏偏碰上更多的失败。

成功是人们能动性创造的结果，是对不畏劳苦者付出艰辛劳动的回报。害怕失败的人，缺乏行动的勇气，未曾登山腿先软，必然对成功的硕果“可望而不可及”。“怕失败”是一把邪恶的剑，它专门削减人们进取的锐气；“怕失败”是一盆冰凉的水，它专rl扑灭人们奋斗的热情。“怕失败”者总是在原点盘旋，虽然不会成为失败者，但也不会成为成功者。失去成功的机遇，就是害怕失败而付出的代价。害怕失败，缺乏“把所有的错误都犯过”这种气魄的人，也就不可能得到正确的结果。

成功是韧战的福音，成功往往出现于再坚持一下的努力之中，害怕失败是对韧战的叛逆，它使奋斗者前功尽弃，使攀登者半途而废，当然也就难以得到最后成功。《西游记》中“孙悟空三打白骨精”的故事：贵在“三打”二字，倘若“一打”之后，就怕师傅念咒之苦，就此罢手，逃回花果山享他那“美猴王”的清福，岂能最后致白骨精于死地，保唐僧去西天取回真经？所以，害怕失败不仅不能解决困难。相反会增加十倍，甚至几十倍的困难。要成功，必须做一个战胜害怕失败的心理上的强者。

成功是志气的凝结，没有雄心壮志，既不会有勇气，也不会有顽强的拼搏精神，自然也不能获得成功。而害怕失败则会使志气之火归于泯灭。清代文学家蒲松龄，多次上京赶考均告失败，他曾一度灰心丧气，叹人生之艰难，悲失利之苦楚。但是，他并没有永远悲叹下去，没有被失败所折服，而是重整旗鼓，振奋精神，从事写作，为了表达自己不惧挫折，不怕失败，不达目的不罢休的决心，他写了一副对联：

有志者，事竟成，破釜沉舟，上百秦关终属楚；

苦心人，天不负，卧薪尝胆，三千越甲可吞吴。

他勤奋笔耕，经过几十年的努力，终于写成了流传干古的一书，在我国古典文学史上树立起了一座不朽的丰碑。试想一下，如果他当时泪流沮丧，还会有后来的结果吗？蒲松龄能奋然崛起，不能不归功于他不怕失败的斗争精神。

成功是对失败的积极反思，失败所给予人们的不仅仅是失败，它还包含着很多走向成功的信息，但这些信息也需要用积极思维的利剑才能发掘。害怕失败的人就是缺少这把利剑，因而也就难以成功。

害怕失败，问题只出现在一个“怕”字身上，“怕”的实质在于一个“私”字，任何人做事一怕，无不起源于私心太重。

我们的时代是壮怀激烈的时代，是改革鼎盛的时代，也是与失败奋斗的时代。朋友们，请记住鲁迅先生的期望吧：愿中国人都摆脱冷气，总是向前走，不必听自暴自弃者的话，能做事的做事，能发声的发声，有一分热，发一分光。大家如果都能这样，中华定能振兴！
