夏天的清晨是美丽的。当东方的天际还未清晰时，跑到阳台，吸一口清新的空气，会使人感到心旷神怡。等到太阳初起，拿出一本书，一盘磁带，尽情阅读，尽情播放，耳边没有喧嚣的吵闹声，没有汽车喇叭的怪叫声，只有微微的晨风在你耳边低吟，没人回去打扰，做什么事都回觉得舒心惬意。过了一会儿，远处传来汽车的喇叭声和人们的欢笑声，一天的生活开始了……

夏天是多雨的。瞧，一阵呼啸着，卷着地上的碎物，向我们逼近。天色突然暗了下来，紧接着，雨啪啪的下了起来。雨中的树叶被风吹着，被雨打着，呜呜地撕叫着;雨中的人们，打着伞，在雨里急速的行走，顽皮的小孩在路上嬉戏，他们在雨中玩着，跳着，唱着，任雨点儿打在他们身上，他们是那样的天真，无忧无虑，玩得是那样的快乐，开心。窗外的雨声越发大了，此刻，打开音箱，放上几首喜爱的歌曲，拿起钢笔，临上几幅字;或是打开钢琴盖，弹上几曲优美的名曲，把自己带入另一个意境，竟有点与世隔绝的感觉。

在放暑假的第一天，我们全家就出发去四川旅游了。我们去了成都的象征——武侯祠和锦里，不仅了解了很多三国里面的故事，还尝到了好多成都美食。我们去了中国古代伟大的水利工程——都江堰和道教发源地之一的青城山，不仅学到了古人是如何治水的，还看到了有名的川剧表演——变脸。从成都出发，一路经过了汶川、映秀、茂县、川主寺等地方，我们来到了海拔四千多米的黄龙，不仅看到了绝美的“五彩池”，还去当地的藏民家体验了一番藏族风情!又从黄龙来到了人间仙境——九寨沟。那九寨沟的雪峰森林，平湖飞瀑……简直就是一个充满诗情画意的童话世界啊!

这次的四川之旅，我不仅大饱眼福，看到了好多好多为之赞叹的美景，还大饱口福，尝到了好多好多令人垂涎三尺的美食。不仅学到了好多好多关于三国演义里面的故事，还了解到了古人治水的伟大智慧，甚至还学会了几句藏语和一些古老的藏族文化，真是让我大开眼界啊!

我的暑期生活可不只是旅游哦!从四川回来，我就开始了特殊的暑期学习生活了。除了完成我的暑假作业外，每天我都会做几道脑洞大开的数学题，学几个英语单词，做几篇英语阅读理解，练一会儿书法……不过，我花时间最多的还是看课外书。书籍是智慧的源泉。这一个多月里，我已经看了好多本书了，有《哈利波特》全套7本，《草原上的小木屋》，《男生贾里全传》，《铁路边的孩子们》，《吹小号的天鹅》，《精灵鼠小弟》，《夏洛的网》，还有《大侦探小卡莱》……这些书让我每天都像置身于一个个精彩的故事情节中，使我的生活也变得丰富多彩。

“喂，怀玉，反正你暑假作业做完了，也没事做，来帮我洗衣服吧!”叨叨老妈大喊道。我双手叉腰，很不情愿地说：“啊!······哦，No!不行!我才不洗!你交给洗衣机先生不行吗?”“不行!”妈妈一边拖着我一边说，“那些都是你的比赛服，不能混在一起洗的!”还没等我多辩解，我就被她一路拖到了洗衣间。

“阳光总在风雨后……”每当唱起这首歌时，我总是感慨万千。每个人都想成功，但是常言道“失败是成功之母！”要想取得成功可不是那么容易的，必须付出艰辛的努力，要动脑筋想办法，攻克一个个难关，还要经得起失败的考验。我就有过这样的经历……

一天我正埋头写作业，忽然听见妈妈又在埋怨：“这是什么肥皂盒呀，一块肥皂没两天就报销了！”我一问，才知道原来是妈妈嫌肥皂盒容易积水，肥皂放在里面，一两天就化了。

我凝神一想，有了。我找来几根小棍架在肥皂盒上，得意地对妈妈说：“您的难题解决了！”妈妈看了直点头：“我怎么没想到呢？”

我还没得意两天，妈妈又把我叫到阳台，指着在水里“洗澡”的肥皂说：“你瞧瞧，你瞧瞧，看来你的办法也不管用啊！”我一看，原来小棒都被碰掉了，肥皂又泡在了水里。我稍加思考，说：“小棒容易掉，找几根细绳绑在肥皂盒上不就OK了吗？”“嗯，这个办法好。”妈妈边夸奖，边找来几根细绳绑在肥皂盒上。

一天，我去爷爷家玩，看到厨房里有一捆油菜用橡皮扎着。我解开橡皮一看，油菜并未受损。我灵机一动：如果把橡皮扎到肥皂盒上，它既不易被碰掉，也不易割伤肥皂，岂不是两全其美？不过，这回我学乖了，不敢再“张扬”了。回家后，我找来七根橡皮，横四根，竖三根将它们扎在肥皂盒上，然后悄悄把它放到阳台的水池边。

从那天起，我再也没有听见妈妈埋怨了。

那是一个晴朗的早上，我一如既往地回到学校，然后做我该做的事情。早读的时候，我听到一个消息，那是关于英语话剧之类的内容，我还见到许多同学都在议论想去参加面试，但可能没有胆量，都是犹豫不决的样子。我也不甘示弱，很想去试一试，就去找英语老师求证，英语老师回答的确有这样一回事，旨在选拔口语及会话优秀的同学。英语老师问我想不想去，我充满信心地答应了，英语老师便叫我和另外一个女同学一起练习对话，用英语对话的形式参赛，那天刚好是星期五。

第二天星期六，一早，我们俩就赶到图书馆找对话文章，准备一起练习对话。当挑选了一篇我们都喜欢的对话文章后，发现有一个单词没有学过，不会，我们就马上查汉英词典，弄懂其发音，然后反复听录音，接着，开始自问自答练习起来了，等会话熟练之后，我们自己再加上丰富的面部表情及自然优美的动作……就这样努力地练习了整整一个上午。

终于到了星期一的下午，我们充满自信地走向面试场所——语音教室，里面已经有很多英语老师坐着。面对我校几乎所有的英语老师，我手脚都不住发抖起来，刚才的自信心都好像飞到九霄云外，我的毛病又犯了——手心直冒汗。终于轮到我们了，我强作镇静地表达出来，还算流利，但接着下来的一句话，我因为紧张，所以想不起来，头上直冒冷汗，脑海里一片空白，我马上进行“脑袋紧急搜索”，我终于想起来了!最后，我们终于勉强地完成对话，走出语音教室的我还是紧张得很，说起话来断断续续，一节课过后，我才平静过来。我想，我们肯定是进入不了决赛了，唉，还连累了和我搭档的那个女同学。

结果呢，我们真的失败了，就失败在我遗忘的那句对话上，那几秒钟的短暂的遗忘就这样“扼杀”了我，多么可惜啊，我们因此不能进入决赛，所以，我有些耿耿于怀。

不过，从此我悟出一个道理，失败并不可怕，可怕的是不懂得吸取教训。
