在放暑假的第一天，我们全家就出发去四川旅游了。我们去了成都的象征——武侯祠和锦里，不仅了解了很多三国里面的故事，还尝到了好多成都美食。我们去了中国古代伟大的水利工程——都江堰和道教发源地之一的青城山，不仅学到了古人是如何治水的，还看到了有名的川剧表演——变脸。从成都出发，一路经过了汶川、映秀、茂县、川主寺等地方，我们来到了海拔四千多米的黄龙，不仅看到了绝美的“五彩池”，还去当地的藏民家体验了一番藏族风情!又从黄龙来到了人间仙境——九寨沟。那九寨沟的雪峰森林，平湖飞瀑……简直就是一个充满诗情画意的童话世界啊!

这次的四川之旅，我不仅大饱眼福，看到了好多好多为之赞叹的美景，还大饱口福，尝到了好多好多令人垂涎三尺的美食。不仅学到了好多好多关于三国演义里面的故事，还了解到了古人治水的伟大智慧，甚至还学会了几句藏语和一些古老的藏族文化，真是让我大开眼界啊!

我的暑期生活可不只是旅游哦!从四川回来，我就开始了特殊的暑期学习生活了。除了完成我的暑假作业外，每天我都会做几道脑洞大开的数学题，学几个英语单词，做几篇英语阅读理解，练一会儿书法……不过，我花时间最多的还是看课外书。书籍是智慧的源泉。这一个多月里，我已经看了好多本书了，有《哈利波特》全套7本，《草原上的小木屋》，《男生贾里全传》，《铁路边的孩子们》，《吹小号的天鹅》，《精灵鼠小弟》，《夏洛的网》，还有《大侦探小卡莱》……这些书让我每天都像置身于一个个精彩的故事情节中，使我的生活也变得丰富多彩。

别以为这就是我的全部暑期生活哦!还远远不止呢!我每天还会练一个小时的单簧管，功夫不负有心人，在8月7日的考级中，我顺利通过了单簧管的七级考试，这令我兴奋到大半夜都没睡着!此外，我还经常去游泳，打羽毛球，骑自行车去西太湖玩……这些不仅让我锻炼了身体，增强了体质，还让我体会到了失败的痛苦和成功的喜悦!

这就是我今年这个丰富多彩的暑假，令我回味无穷。

这个暑假，爸爸把我带回乡下生活，说是要让我体会一下乡下生活，因为爸爸要工作，所以就不能陪我一起留在乡下。到了爷爷家，我都习惯不了乡下的伙食，因为从小过着公主般的生活，天天吃着山珍海味。而乡下只有一些粗粮，我每一餐吃得不怎么饱。后来，爷爷看我那么喜欢吃到山珍海味，就带我到离爷爷家不远的小河边。哇塞，河里有鱼啊，一条条生龙活虎。怪不得爷爷要带钓鱼竿和桶。爷爷说：“我们一起来钓鱼吧，看谁钓得多!”

我高兴急了，点了点头!钓鱼比赛开始了，我把鱼饵钓在钓鱼竿的钩子上然后把线用力抛到河里，等待着小鱼上钩。爷爷见我这么开心，笑着说：“晓威，小心啊，别掉到河里喂鱼拉!”我撅着嘴巴说：“爷爷，别诅咒我啊!我可不会游泳。”爷爷哈哈大笑了几声，然后说：“小心啊，否则掉到河里喂鱼拉!”“啪啪”，哇，爷爷钓到鱼了，真厉害!我也要加油啊，不然爷爷可会看扁我的!我一边拿着钓鱼竿一边嘟着嘴念到：“小鱼小鱼快上钩。”爷爷听了，捧腹大笑。说：“晓威，要小鱼上钩。不是靠几句魔咒就可以的，重要的是要有恒心，等待小鱼被鱼饵诱惑的时候。”我抱着怀疑的心态问：“那被鱼饵诱惑的小鱼是算聪明还是笨蛋呢?”

爷爷说：“当然是笨蛋了。”我问：“为什么?”爷爷说：“这些知识就像我们做人一样，一定不能被对我们自己有益的东西所诱惑，比如说金钱啊等，有的人就是被金钱诱惑而出卖了自己的好朋友，这些做法都是错误的，我们应该做好做人的本分，没有了做人的本分，就相当于一无所有，明白吗?”我似懂非懂的点了点头。“啪啪”，“我钓到鱼拉!”我欢呼到。我用力的收起线，把鱼放到桶里。爷爷笑着说：“不要高兴太早，我们的比赛还没分胜负!”我说：“我们就快点开始比赛吧，否则到天黑都分不出胜负!”

爷爷点了点头。我们的比赛越来越激烈，鱼儿上钩的“啪啪”声一阵阵的响起。直到下午的五点，我们才停止了比赛，爷爷赢了，我只差爷爷一点点，看来，这次我要被爷爷笑话啦!当天晚上，我和爷爷把钓的鱼全部煮了，我们吃得津津有味，因为这是我们品尝的是我和爷爷自己得到的“胜利品”。这次的暑假虽然没有像其他同学去旅游，但是我觉得这次暑假给我上了一堂意义很深的课。

时代在发展，科技在进步，现在生活方便地很，衣服不用手洗，地不用人扫，桌子不用自己收拾。不过······

“喂，怀玉，反正你暑假作业做完了，也没事做，来帮我洗衣服吧!”叨叨老妈大喊道。我双手叉腰，很不情愿地说：“啊!······哦，No!不行!我才不洗!你交给洗衣机先生不行吗?”“不行!”妈妈一边拖着我一边说，“那些都是你的比赛服，不能混在一起洗的!”还没等我多辩解，我就被她一路拖到了洗衣间。

随后，她‘拎’着我，将我丢在了一张椅子上，抱起一堆衣服向我砸来。我很不情愿地拿起一个大盆装满水，把一件丢进去，然后拿出，平铺，将洗衣液挤了进去，然后不停地来回搓洗，等到泡沫差不多的时候，然后，像小猪佩奇踩水坑一样，一个劲地踩着，再揉一揉，揉完之后将它提起，拧干，放到晾衣杆旁，给妈妈挂上晾晒。

当洗到第三件时，蚊子军开始向我的脸进攻了。它在我的身体旁，脚边，脸上不停地“跳舞”。我受够了，一巴掌往脸上拍去，它灵活地一躲，“啪”!害我重重地拍了一个红掌印在我的脸上。我左拍拍，右拍拍，最后蚊子是死了，不过，我却成了小花猫。

我继续洗啊洗，洗啊洗，不时用胳膊擦了擦额头的汗。我忍不住了，将所有衣服都抱了起来，准备丢入盆中。不好，衣服太多了!我忍不住往后退了一步，“哎呀”，踏到垃圾桶了，糟糕，地又滑，刚迈一步，“扑通”一声，我摔了个人啃盆。唉，自作孽不可活，还不敢声张，只能哑巴吃黄连，忍了。

我把剩下的衣服倒入盆中，挤了一大堆洗衣液不停地揉搓。狗狗在旁边不停地喊叫着，也不知道叫啥。突然衣服堆里发出了“汪”的声音。情况不妙，是布丁。我把所有的衣服抱出来，从中翻到了布丁，它全身沾满了泡泡——泡泡狗。它呲溜呲溜地跑向了妈妈，大事不妙啊!果然，一阵雷暴声传来：“詹怀玉······你怎么干活的!”

看着镜子里的泡泡人，虽然觉得有点累，但我非常高兴，今天洗衣服的经历，让我体会到了妈妈平时的辛苦与不易，更让我体会到了生活中的乐趣。

Failure is the mother of success. Sometimes people have to cope with many mistakes and failures in order to reach the successful finals. While others might succumb to failure, they tend to retreat and give in their efforts. Success often provides confidence and satisfaction, nevertheless failure companies with bitter, saddness, and suffering. It seems people have to learn through each experience, as success doesnt always falls from heaven.

I remembered I used to fail on my vocabury test when I was in high school. I had problem to memorize new words which got lloose each day. I almost decided to give up English, but was obliged to one of my neighbour classmates who kept on sending small sheet for me. In the end of the semester, I found I had finished my vocabulary book which became a work force in reading English. I then realized that a new word came and left our brains for several times. Nobody is born as genius for success. Success tends to arrive after a serial of trials and failures.

Of course, success brings confidence and victory. But, life is not always easy and comfortable. There are more difficulties than eases in the real life. It is likely that we have to face some failures ahead. Therefore, those who learn how to deal and endure failures will taste their success eventually.
