我暑假开始学的乒乓球，记得七月份的那天下午，烈日炎炎，我和妈妈拿着乒乓球拍来到了会所，不巧，管理处的工作人员在开会，我和妈妈，只好先在一楼等着，我们一直等了两个小时，他们才开完会，我和妈妈急匆匆地往楼上跑，“哇!好大的乒乓球台呀!”我惊讶地说。

妈妈先教我怎样发球，把球往上一扔，用球拍把球打到乒乓球台上，然后我就和妈妈一起打了起来。快乐的时光就是这么快，一个小时过去了，我和妈妈恋恋不舍地离开了会所，我在心里默默地问，什么时候再来呢?

奥运会期间，我国的乒乓球队为中国赢得了4枚金牌2枚银牌2枚铜牌，因此，我对乒乓球有了更进一步的了解，我也对乒乓球更感兴趣了。

这学期，学校开设了乒乓球兴趣班，我特别想参加，可正好跟我星期六的英语课的时间重叠。虽然我学乒乓球没多久，但我被它深深的魅力给吸引住了。现在开学了，我只能在周末才能与乒乓球亲密接触了，那将是我一个星期中最快乐的时光!

我从小就有许许多多喜欢的运动，它们像天上那闪闪发光的小星星，怎么数也数不清。但是，我最喜欢的一项运动就是爬杆。

我之所以喜欢爬杆这项运动，是因为我在上幼儿园的时候，我是我们班女生里最淘气的一个，大家都叫我“淘汽包”。而我爬杆这项运动也是很多女生不敢做的，全班只有两个女生敢和男生比，我就是其中一个，这让我很自豪。

我记得那是一个阳光明媚的早上，我和两个男生比赛爬杆。虽然我是个淘气包什么都敢跟男生比，但是我从小就有点恐高，所以爬着爬着感觉越来越怕，只好灰溜溜地滑了下来。我低着头说：“我……我……我输了!”其实我的心里有一百个的不服气。

放学后，我一回到家，就冲到我家后院那根栏杆前，开始慢慢地练习。不知不觉地，我已经爬到了最高处，我一往下看，“啊……吓死我啦!”我从没有爬过这么高的地方，大豆般的汗珠从我的脸颊直往下流。

怎么才能去掉我恐高的毛病呢?我坐在秋千上闷头苦想着。这时，爸爸过来问我怎么了，我把事情的经过讲给爸爸听，爸爸告诉说：“只要身体保持平衡，不要向下看，你就不会害怕了。”我按爸爸的话一次又地尝试着，可是我每次都会情不自禁地滑下来，我回想爸爸跟我讲的话，把眼睛闭着，身体保持平衡，我又试了几次，哦……我成功了，我从栏杆下来后，好开心!我第一时间把这个好消息告诉爸爸。

从那以后我和爬杆结下了不解之缘。爬杆给我带来了健康，带来了快乐。

到老师比赛了，同学们的喊声震耳欲聋，后面的同学也不由自主地跳起来，想一展老师的风采。看到老师那精彩的表演，使我油然而生出那句话‘台上一分钟，台下十年功。’

颁奖的时刻到了，每位同学的心都揪起来了。当校长念到我们班队员的名字时，全班同学都沸腾了，有的同学高兴地拥抱在一起，有的同学听到这句话松了一口气，还有的同学在拼命的鼓掌，好象这也不能表达他内心的激动。

比赛结束了，我恋恋不舍地回到了教室。刚才那排山倒海的掌声依然在我的耳旁荡漾。我希望下次运动会早日到来。

那时我才6岁，那年的暑假一开始，老妈就给我报了一个“暑假游泳培训班”。我非常高兴，心想：马上就可以学游泳了，oh ye！可是刚到游泳馆，看到那深深的水池，我却害怕得双腿发抖。虽然老妈和教练一直在鼓励我，可是我还是不敢下水，而且还差点哭了！在同学们怀疑的目光中，老妈只好对我说：“胡泰源，你不是说你很喜欢游泳的吗，怎么？难道还没下水就要放弃了？”我只好无奈地跳下泳池。没想到的是，我一下水，就抢了好几口水。呛水的滋味可真难受啊——鼻子发酸、喉咙堵得发慌。我痛苦的只想打退堂鼓了！但是我看到的却是老妈严厉的目光。老妈又说：“做什么事情都不能半途而废！这道理你已经清楚了！”于是我只好忍受着呛水的痛苦，跟着大家一次又一次地将头埋入水中，和教练苦练游泳的基本功……第一节课终于结束了。由于我表现突出，老师让我当了小班班长，我心里乐开了花。

在接下来的十五天里，经过我的努力刻苦的学习，我成了班上游泳最好的一个。老师和同学都夸奖我。我开心极了。

之后的日子里妈妈常带我去游泳。我发现游泳的花样很多，有蛙泳、有自由泳、有蝶泳、有仰泳、还有花样游泳。我只学了其中的蛙泳，但和其他的人交流中，我自学会了自由泳泳，蝶泳也会了一点点。虽然这不是专业的蝶泳和自由泳，但我很快乐，因为我发现自己的学习能力挺强的。尤其在游泳方面很有天分。呵呵。

在我游泳运动中，我发现游泳还有其他的一些好处！游泳可以使关节不易肌肉受伤，在游泳时水的作用使肢体血液易于回流心脏、使心率加快，长期游泳会使心脏运动性增大，收缩有力，游泳还能改善体温调节机能、预防感冒、强壮我们的身体、在必要的时候还可以自救。

游泳给我快乐，游泳给我信心，游泳给我强壮的身体，游泳给我说不完的好处。这就是我喜欢游泳的理由。

在繁忙的生活中，运动是不可或缺的。运动能让你精神舒畅、心情愉快，还能使身体变得更健康！所以在所有的运动中，我最喜欢的就是骑自行车。

记得有一次我在骑自行车，妈妈浇花，将水浇到磁砖，地面滑滑的，我骑着骑着就滑了一跤，跌个四脚朝天，双手趴在地上，动弹不得，妈妈还说我像一只青蛙。在我痛苦时还说我像青蛙，妈妈是不是在挖苦我，说我不会骑自行车啊？受到那次跌倒的刺激，我每天放学回家，就会规定自己，没骑完十五圈就不要吃晚饭。因为有了这样的规定，一个礼拜后，我们全家一起去小学运动，妈妈做自己的事，我一边骑自行车一边载弟弟，爸爸看了都觉得很惊讶，大呼：“小惠你好棒。”我得到很大的鼓励，越骑越快骑，也越骑越稳。

一个礼拜的训练，还好没有浪费，反而有了成果，所以我愈来愈喜欢骑自行车了。

Historically, physical activity has been associated with health. Today, science has confirmed the link, with overwhelming evidence that people who lead active lifestyles are less likely to die early, or to experience major illnesses such as heart disease, diabetes and cancers. A vast majority of college students do not meet recommended levels of moderate physical activity. Just do it! Lets participate in more physical exercise.
