When we read newspapers, we often come across the word pollution. This word was not familiar to the people some decades ago. But now, it is a serious threat to us because.it means the poisoning of the air, seas, rivers and lands, which would do harm to our health.

There are many factories that bring pollution to us. We can not have fresh air in the morning. This is mainly because of the poisonous smoke coming from factories, especially chemical ones. Making a trip to Beidaihe on May 18 was an experience which I will never

forget.

A arrived in Beidaihe at about 2 oclock,and immediately took a No.5 bus to

the sea area.The beautiful blue sea was so large that I couldnt see the other

side of it.After getting off the bus,I went straight to the shore.Taking off my

shoes,I put my feet into the water.The water was cool,and walking in the water
