Last year, my father bought a lovely pet for me. She has four white paws and a white and yellow tail. She has two small ears, two green eyes and eight whiskers on her face. Her name is Sally and she is one year old.

She sleeps on the window ledge, in the open drawer, in the empty shoe, on the grass, between the flowers, under the tree, on anybody’s lap, in a cardboard box, in the cupboard, or on my dress. Sally doesn’t care! She sleeps anywhere. She likes sleeping on my lap best.

I feed Sally every day and give her clean water. Sometimes I brush her fur and she enjoys it very much.

Sally is a very good friend, but she is quite lazy! She never worries because we take good care of her. She is always a happy cat.

又是烟尘纷飞，又是人车争霸，出门时的好心情被眼前拥挤的场面纷扰，我不由地得抱怨起这马拉松式的修路工程，一阵风刮起，顾不得那么多，便开始抢车道，我左躲右闪，见缝钻车，不一会儿如游蛇般走到了小路的尽头。

谁料这尽头才是恶梦的开始，手掌大的一个出口，各种交通工具齐备，左小轿车，右行人，中间是自行车族，隔出口相望对面正有庞大的上班族，再一看表，上课时间也快到了，真是屋漏偏逢连阴雨，管它三七二十一，冲出去就是好汉，在一片鸣笛声中，我依旧我行我素，忽然一群行人，堵住我正前方的路，我变向右一拐车把，挡住了另一个行人的路，随之而来的便像多米诺骨牌一样，左边那个骑车的民工为了不与我相撞，便向左，一个不小心，靠在了左边那辆颇具风度的丰田跑车上，人们纷纷停住了脚步询头号他是否有事，确定那位民工没事正准备离开，一个尖锐的声音刺入我的耳鼓膜。

“哎，我的车，看让你给划的，怎么骑车的?”

“对不起，车太多，我不小心……”

看到如此场景，鬼使神差，我脑子一热，就拼命地往外挤，快速的离开现场，然而耳旁依旧是那个尖锐的声音，还有那个民工尴尬的赔礼声，我是否该回去?这与我有关吗?这一连串的问题，从我的脑海中进了出来，当我想着是不是该回去的时候，却发现骑着车已到了学校，放好自行车，迈着沉重的步子回到自己的座位，同桌似首发现了我的表情的扭曲，便询问我是怎么回事，我便将事情的原委告诉了他。

“返回去说清楚嘛。”我一阵沉默“想去就快点!”我看了她一眼，没再说什么，冲下楼，开锁，推车，奔向那个留下遗憾的地方，不知为什么内心有一丝不安。

到了那里，早已是一片平静，那些拥挤的车辆、人群也早已不在，只有一阵风起，吹起了满地的灰尘，拂乱了我的头发，我呆呆地望着，说不出一种什么感觉，转身离开的时候，又是烟尘纷飞。

When I was dreaming just now, my robot woke me up. Oh, it was nine o

clock. Now I get up. It s time to get up! This morning I will study science

lesson on the computer. I needn t go to school. There are fewer schools now. It

is a sunny day today. My parents work in the other city. They often ask me about

my lessons through the television. But I always want to play with my friends.

Now the robot is helping me clean my house and the garden. After that it will

Since the one child policy carried on, many families had only one kid. As the children growing up, they felt lonely, because they did not have anyone to accompany. English is one of my best subjects and I started learning English when I was 10 years old. But at the very beginning, listening seemed a little difficult for me.

So I have been doing a lot of listening practice, such as listening to tapes, watching English TV programs.

And I found it really helped a lot. I enjoy singing English songs and I want to join an English club or find a pen pal from English-speaking countries.

I believe that nothing is impossible if you put your heart into it.

Today, when I went home after school, I saw the delicious snack, so I

wanted to buy one of the snacks, then I could not find my wallet, I searched it

many times, at last, I had to admit that my wallet was lost. I felt so worried,

so I turned back to find my wallet, I watched the road carefully, suddenly, a

black dog was in front of me, I felt so scared.

Every Thursday at 6 o;clock in the afternoon, we all go to the English comer on the campus to practice our spoken English.

We communicated with each other frankly, happily and freely. Our English has improved quickly by this means. We all believe that "practice makes perfect."

Also with the economic development of our city, more foreigners are attracted to set up businesses here and they are happy to send their children to local schools to learn more about China and Chinese culture. In addition, we have more freedom to choose what we would like to do after graduation. Going to college is no longer the only choice for most of us as it was years ago.

Water Pollution

With the development of industry, water pollution is becoming more serious now. The polluted water not only kills fish, it is also harmful to our health. Many people get sick because they drink the polluted water. In some rivers the water is so dirty that they can even kill plants.

We should fight against the pollution. We should stop using harmful things. I wish it is not a dream that in the near future we can have clean rivers again.

Environment Protection

Nowadays, peoples life has changed a lot with the development of modern technology and economy, which has put lots of negative effects on the environment.

Why this? Because, firstly, some factories are pouring wastes into rivers, lakes, seas and so forth; secondly, because of human activities, a great number of plants and animals are losing their lives; thirdly, using modern machines and chemicals is bad for the environment. Besides these, there are a lot of human activities which have done or are doing harm to our surroundings.

For this, I think, first, our government should make drastic measures to regulate human activities; second, we human beings should take pains-taking work to stop ourselves destroying the environment and try our best to protect our living space more.

Our country has a large area of forest. However, not until recently did the government begin to realize the importance of protecting the forest. Pollution: a Social Problem

When we read newspapers, we often come across the word pollution. This word was not familiar to the people some decades ago. But now, it is a serious threat to usbecause. it means the poisoning of the air, seas, rivers and lands, which would do harm to our health.

There are many factories that bring pollution to us. We can not have fresh air in the morning. This is mainly because of the poisonous smoke coming from factories, especially chemical ones. In rivers, seas and oceans, there are industrial wastes. Some factories just throw their wastes into seas or let them flow into rivers. When people drink the water from such rivers, they get poisoned. Besides, there is rubbish from ships and when sometimes an accident occurs in an ocean, oil flows out from tankers.

On land, the accumulation of rubbish in the streets may dirty the city and ruin our health. This is mainly due to the improper disposal of rubbish by people.

If we do mot fight against pollution, surely one day all of us will be killed. Some people like to put the blame on the industrial revolutions. On the contrary, the pollution problem will be solved only with the help of modem science and technology.

If we want to keep our bodies healthy, we must have a good habit. We should

get up and go to bed early and sleep at least eight hours every day. Do more

exercise, such as walking, swimming, playing balls and so on. We should also eat

healthy food——more fruit and vegetable s and less meat. If you don’t feel well,

you’d better see a doctor at once. And we should wash our hands before meals and

drink enough boiled water every day. It’s necessary for our health.

We should not throw litter about, keep long fingernails and smoke etc. It’s

also very important.

Take good care of the environment is everyones responsibility, everyone has the duty to care for the environment. The cries of the earth, is made by human; The formation of natural disasters and human themselves. We cant let such things happen again, because of this our home will face disappear.

With the continuous destruction of forest, make the air fresh, no longer in life make people breathing "not smooth". So, we should protect trees, protect the nature. Let our the earth mother to restore the original appearance.

We now do dribs and drabs, not just for the sake of our own, also is a important foundation for our future generations. Let them no longer face the disaster, let they no longer lose family. Take good care of the environment, starts from me!

爱护环境是每个人的职责，每个人有爱护环境的责任。地球的哭泣，是人类所为;自然灾害的形成，也是人类自己造成的。我们不能再让这样的事再发生，因为这样我们的家园即将面临消失。

随着森林的不断毁灭，使生活中的空气不再新鲜，使人们的呼吸“不再顺畅”。所以，我们应该保护树木，保护大自然。让我们的地球妈妈恢复原来的模样。

你每一个爱护环境的小举动，都将成为你美好的回忆。弯下腰捡起一片废纸、一句话阻止人们破坏环境。都将成为历史。

我们现在做的点点滴滴，不仅仅是为了我们自己，也是为我们的子孙后代打下重要的基础。让他们不再面临灾难，让他们不再失去家人。爱护环境，从我做起!

天空中悬浮着一些灰色的尘埃，阳光因无法传透而显得那样苍白。我的哭声并没有撕开那灰色的天幕，它不落泪，反而更加悲哀。

记得我十岁那年，一位叔叔将一只小狗送给了我，我给它取了个名字叫毛毛。

毛毛才一个多月大，全身布满了大大小小的棕色斑纹，向外凸出的黑鼻子显得有些淘气，黑亮的眼睛好像会说话毛毛年纪太小，步态不稳，走起路来像一个小毛球，十分可爱。每当看到它摇摇晃晃地摔倒时，我就会学着它在家里大醉拳。

自从毛毛来到我们家，我总是挂念着它。每天一放学，我就赶紧回家，一进家门就把它抱在怀里，总要和它快活地玩上一阵子。平时爸爸爱喂它好吃的东西，妈妈则爱带他到花园里去闲逛，毛毛俨然成了我家的第四位成员。

虽然我们对毛毛备加爱护，但一段时间以后，毛毛开始不吃不喝，而且有时还发出一种痛苦的叫声，听了直叫人揪心。它的眼睛透出虚弱无助的目光，似乎在向我寻求一种帮助，帮助他脱离病魔的困扰。我们全家人每天都耐心地喂他吃药，可毛毛的病情越来越严重，我们一致决定带毛毛去动物医院治疗。

动物医院的医生告诉我们，毛毛的病得不轻，得给它打两针。

当我们要离开医院时，医生说，其实给毛毛打的两针作用可能也不大，病会不会好主要看它自己的造化了。

回家后毛毛的病还是不见好转，身体变得更加虚弱，我想让它站着，不要倒下，它已经站不起来了;让它喝水，它也不喝……我真的无计可施了，只是默默地看着它，搂着它，希望它能挺过这场灾难。

我望着“滴答滴答”走动的时钟，真想让毛毛的生命像时间一样永不停止，一直延续下去。毛毛急促地、艰难地喘息着，当它发出最后那声惨叫时，也就到达了它生命的终点。它的眼睛慢慢闭上了，四肢松软了，我知道，它死了，再也不会活过来了。顿时，强忍在心里的悲伤再也难以控制，喷涌的泪水模糊了我的眼睛。

没有雨的天不一定晴朗，没有泪的童年不一定快乐。等到我的心情平静下来之后，我和妈妈找了一块长着小草小树的地方把毛毛埋了。再见了我亲爱的小狗!记忆的画面逐渐缩小，最后定格在一片灰色的天空上。

It is Teachers;Day on September 10th every year. Teachers are the greatest people in the world，I think，because they teach us how to write and read. The most

important is that they teach us how to be a real man. They are also kind to everybody and they don;t want anyone to fall behind others. They always get on very well

with their students，and they are our best friends. When students are in trouble，they can help them in time.I will be a teacher when I grow up.

狂风呼啸，电闪雷鸣，暴雨倾盆……迷途的鸟儿们，慌忙的穿梭在树林中，都在向着山下飞去。那里似乎很安静，没有偌大的雨点，没有轰鸣的雷声。

只有一只孤单的鸟儿，没有宽大的翅膀，却有无穷的勇气;没有锐利的脚爪，却有惊人的毅力，它不顾一切地朝着山顶飞去。我暗暗地为它悲哀，为它的愚昧而叹息。

但当风雨过后，彩虹出现在云端，只有那只愚昧的鸟儿还孤傲地在天空中飞翔，其他鸟儿却不见了踪影……

窗边的我也望见了这一切，在我为那只鸟的存活而惊奇时，也猛然间发现了我自己。我在这次考试失利后就一直这样垂头丧气。那次数学考试，我极仔细的做完了卷子，满以为可以得到表扬。但天不遂人愿，我却只拿了个倒数的成绩回了家，不知怎么去面对家人，是“对不起，我又考差了”，还是“哎呀，我太马虎了，下次一定考好”。只好独自趴在窗边，远望着对面的山峰，贪婪的吞下最后一丝余晖，听着杂乱的雨声，应和着我绝望的心。置身在风雨中，却无法面对这一切，只是逃避它。我不知道该怎么办。

在这雨声最响亮的一刻，在这阳光最渺茫的一刻，我看见了那只勇向山峰飞进的鸟儿，它在生命中最绝望的一刻冲向了那胜利的曙光!我渐渐有了信心，我能行的!我相信我自己!

“现在开始考试!”

老师一声令下，卷子又刷刷的发了下来。我努力抑制住心中的紧张，艰难地拿起笔，开始答卷。

时间一分一秒地流逝着。我不停的看手表，但那只会耽误我的时间。虽然只剩下了最后一道题，但我居然连看都不敢看一眼。这关键时刻，老师居然站起来说：“这次考试题有一点难，请大家认真做。”

这让我顿时没了信心。三分钟，或许是五分钟过去了。我急的满头大汗，不停的拍自己的脑袋。这两条线怎么才能平行?听着同学们不停的放笔的声响，心中越来越火急火燎。

天空中的雨，又渐渐的下了起来。滴滴答答，密密麻麻。仿佛冷却了我浮躁的心，我这才平静下来。听着雨声，头脑中又浮现出那只鸟奋不顾身冲向山顶的一幅幅画面。那好似在暗示着我什么。突然一股莫名的力量，驱使着我重新再做这道题。思维不停地变换着，探索着。

绝望的心渐渐有了希望。当我发现这道题可以另辟蹊径时，以为时

不多了。我立马开始写过程，头脑也在同时飞速的运转。如同一台计算机一样，迅速地找出了正确的途径。当我写完这道题时，老师便下令收卷。我真庆幸我做完了题。

正在我高兴时，同桌就立马问我：“最后一题怎么证明两条线段平行的啊?”

“不用证明平行的。只用做一条辅助线就行了。”我骄傲的答道。

“不可能!绝对要证明平行!”

“绝对不用，不信我证明给你看!”

我们的争执引来了许多人，大家却都说要证明平行，也没人做出来。

我高兴的心情又被泼了冷水，再次失望。是啊，我又不是那只鸟，也可能那只是它走运罢了。我开始暗笑自己的愚昧。怎么能学习一只鸟呢?

但当我再次惊讶时，就是得知我的了第二名的时候。在全班同学的惊讶，和老师的肯定中，我拿到了那张属于我的划满红勾的卷子，也是属于我的荣耀。那到出了名的难题，我也毫无疑问的得了满分。

我兴奋地跑回家中，再次向那座告诉了我一切的山峰，那只给予了我勇气的鸟望去。山峰依在，鸟却飞走。蓦然醒悟，它已飞向了那片属于它的辉煌。

我也一直在询问着我自己，是什么给了我力量?是那只鸟?是那场雨?不，不是。是那迎向风雨的勇气与执着!

狂风依旧，暴雨未去，而我却只当那是清风拂面，细雨飘丝……
