甘老师也是田径队的老师，听田径队的同学说：“甘老师的严是出了名了，他要求队员将每个动作都要做标准，如果不合格就一直做直到合格为止。甘老师这么做，一是为了保证同学们运动的安全，二是为了队员们在比赛中获得好的成绩。
