春节的来历有一种传说，中国古时候有一种叫“年”的怪兽，头长触角，凶猛异常。“年”长年深居海底，每到除夕才爬上岸，吞食牲畜伤害人命。因此，每到除夕这天，村村寨寨的人们扶老携幼逃往深山，以躲避“年”兽的伤害。有一年除夕，从村外来了个乞讨的老人。乡亲们一片匆忙恐慌景象，只有村东头一位老婆婆给了老人些食物，并劝他快上山躲避“年”兽，那老人捋髯笑道：“婆婆若让我在家呆一夜，我一定把‘年’兽撵走。”老婆婆仍然继续劝说，乞讨老人笑而不语。 半夜时分，“年”兽闯进村。它发现村里气氛与往年不同：村东头老婆婆家，门贴大红纸，屋内烛火通明。“年”兽浑身一抖，怪叫了一声。将近门口时，院内突然传来“砰砰啪啪”的炸响声，“年”浑身战栗，再不敢往前凑了。原来，“年”最怕红色、火光和炸响。这时，婆婆的家门大开，只见院内一位身披红袍的老人在哈哈大笑。“年”大惊失色，狼狈逃蹿了。第二天是正月初一，避难回来的人们见村里安然无恙十分惊奇。这时，老婆婆才恍然大悟，赶忙向乡亲们述说了乞讨老人的许诺。这件事很快在周围村里传开了，人们都知道了驱赶“年”兽的办法。(客家人的传说)从此每年除夕，家家贴红对联、燃放爆竹;户户烛火通明、守更待岁。初一一大早，还要走亲串友道喜问好。这风俗越传越广，成了中国民间最隆重的传统节日。

holiday to stay with my families. On the New Year’s Eve, all the families got

together. We woke up early in the morning and then my mother started to purchase

some food to prepare the big dinner. I helped my mother to bring the food.

除夕的早上，大家都忙着贴对联，挂灯笼，好一片红红火火的景象。早上外婆搞了一盆浆糊，我和爸爸忙的贴了起来，我在墙上涂浆糊，爸爸在墙上贴对联，上联是：一帆风顺吉星到下联是：万事如意福临门横批：财源广进。最后，爸爸站在椅子上把几个红灯笼挂了起来。

到了傍晚，吃年夜饭了，外婆把一桌非常丰富的饭菜端了上来，一家人开开心心的吃了起来，吃完后，大人们都给我了压岁钱，我非常高兴。之后，我们一家守在电视机前等待着春节联欢晚会的开始，不知不觉的到了晚上八点，春节联欢晚会开始了，里面有相声，歌舞，和小品……好看极了。零点的钟声即将敲响时，电视里全国人民已经进入了倒计时“十，九，八……”外面已经响起了“噼里啪啦”的鞭炮声。我们也不例外，也在门口放了起来。外面的烟花五颜六色，漂亮极了!

正月初一，我穿上了新衣服，爸爸妈妈带着我，提着礼品去给长辈拜年，每到一处，我都会收到一个红包，还能吃到各家的美味佳肴，还有好吃的糖果。

一年中，我最喜欢的节日就是春节了。

大年二十七时，爸爸妈妈带着我一起去帮姥姥炸年货，俗称“过油”。我们炸的有带鱼、丸子、排骨、鸡块、菜角、糖糕等等。炸了一盆又一盆，真是好吃又丰盛啊！

我还跟爸爸一起贴对联，我们撕下旧对联，贴上红彤彤的新对联。看到门上倒贴的“福”字，我问爸爸为什么这样贴，爸爸说：“福字倒贴意味着福到家了。”哦，原来贴对联还有这么多讲究呀！

除夕夜，我们全家在一起一边吃年夜饭，一边美滋滋地看丰富多彩的春节联欢晚会。到了十二点钟，也就是大年初一的凌晨零点，窗外便传来了密密麻麻庆祝新的一年到来的鞭炮声。

过年我最开心的就是可以回奶奶家了。奶奶家那里晚辈给长辈拜年的方式很传统，还要行磕头礼呢！在奶奶家，我跟小伙伴快乐地疯玩，连日记都幸免了几天不用写呢！

过年小孩还能得到压岁钱，当然我也不例外，今年收到了一千多元。我在电视上看到有的小孩收到的压岁钱有两千多，五千多，甚至上万，便开始觉得自己得到的压岁钱少了。妈妈说，压岁钱是长辈给小孩的祝愿，多了并不见得是好事，一定要合理利用才行。

春节，真是一个让人快乐而又留恋的节日呀！
