In China, millions of soldiers are busy fighting against the floods. They are working very hard. Many of them have lost their lives in their attempt to save the villagers.

Though we cant help them to fight against floods, we should help them to rebuild their homeland. We can present them our pocketmoney and clothes. I believe most of the people will return to their homeland in the near future.

严重的水灾

长江是中国最长的河流。它对我们中国人十分重要。但现在长江给我们带来了严重的水灾。

许多村庄被洪水冲毁于。洪水使成千上万的人失去了家园，亲戚和朋友。许多孩子不能与平常——样去学校了。现在洪水引起了全球的注意。国外的人也给予了援助。在中国，上百万的战士忙于与洪水搏斗。他们努力工作，许多人在救村民时献出了自己的生命。

尽管我们不能帮助他们抗洪，但我们可以帮他们重建家园。我们可以捐出零花钱和衣服。我相信在不久的将来大多数人会回到家乡。

My Views on Environmetal Protection

Nowadays, the world we live in is becoming more and more intolerable because of environmental destruction. Each day thousands of tons of gases come out of the exhausts of motor vehicles. Smoke from factories pollutes the air of industrialized areas and the surrounding areas of the countryside. Recently,haze weather has become a usual phenomenon here in large part of China. People are forced to wear the mask to avoid breathing poisonous air. Some people think it is impossible to solve the problem,however,from my opinion,if we find out the reason and take effective measures the environment can be better.

If we trace the cause for haze weather,the main points are as follows,first,our countrys air quality standards are rather lax and evaluation factors are limited,so you will see that current air appraisal system has defects. Second,some people just go for economic interests instead of turning out products according to relevant law and regulations. They tend to use obsolete equipment in which they are more likely to emit a great deal of wasted air. Third,across our society,the awareness of protecting the environment has not built up so that people havent formed a habit of using green product and saving energy as much as possible. If we dont take action to show respect to the environment, we will have to face an increasingly awful situation.

Therefore, effective measures should be taken and laws passed to conserve the environment. In my opinion, to protect the environment, the government must take even more concrete measures. First, people should be educated to recognize the importance of the problems, to use modern methods of birth control, to conserve our natural resources and recycle our products. Second, much more efforts should be made to put the policy of population into practice, because more people mean more pollution. Finally,laws concerning environmental protection should be put into effect and enforce strictly just as our government has been doing. To sum up,if we work together to take out such measures,our environment will get better and better and haze weather will vanish completely.

放眼望去，有的只是凹凸的地皮，大片大片的树林遭人砍伐，变成人们生活上的木制品。人们只为一己私利，使成群的动物流离失所，奔向它方。这并不是虚假的幻想，这是血淋淋的事实。

曾几何时，世界上大批的动植物遭到灭绝，还有许许多多的动植物濒临灭绝，这都是为什么?这都是因为人类乱伐树木，破坏了生态环境，这才是根本原因。

土地资源是三大地质资源(矿产资源、水资源、土地资源)之一，是人类生产活动最基本的资源和劳动对象。人类对土地的利用程度反映了人类文明的发展，但同时也造成对土地资源的直接破坏，这主要表现为不合理垦植引起的水土流失、土地沙漠化、土地次生盐碱化及土壤污染等，而其中水土流失尤为严重，乃当今世界面临的又一个严重危机。据估计，世界耕地的表土流失量约为230亿吨/年。

有人认为酸雨是一场无声无息的危机，而且是有史以来冲击我们最严重的环境威胁，是一个看不见的敌人。这并非危言耸听。随着工业化和能源消费增多，酸性排放物也日益增多，它们进入空气中，经过一系列作用就形成了酸雨。

赤潮虽然自古就有，但随着工农业生产的迅速发展，水体污染日益加重，赤潮也日趋严重。我国自1933年首次报道以来，至1994年共有194次较大规模的赤潮，其中60年代以前只有4次，1990年后则有157起。石油类污染对水质和水生生物有相当大的危害。漂浮在水面上的油类可迅速扩散，形成油膜，阻碍水面与空气接触，使水中溶解氧减少。油类含有多环芳烃致癌物质，可经水生生物富集后危害人体健康。二氧化硫主要由燃煤及燃料油等含硫物质燃烧产生，其次是来自自然界，如火山爆发、森林起火等产生。二氧化硫对人体的结膜和上呼吸道粘膜有强烈刺激性，可损伤呼吸器管可致支气管炎、肺炎，甚至肺水肿呼吸麻痹。短期接触二氧化硫浓度为0。5毫克/立方米空气的老年或慢性病人死亡率增高，浓度高于0。25毫克/立方米，可使呼吸道疾病患者病情恶化。长期接触浓度为0。1毫克/立方米空气的人群呼吸系统病症增加。另外，二氧化硫对金属材料、房屋建筑、棉纺化纤织品、皮革纸张等制品容易引起腐蚀，剥落、褪色而损坏。还可使植物叶片变黄甚至枯死。

最近我读过一本好书，叫作《我的野生动物朋友》。这本书主要讲法国小女孩蒂皮，她从小跟着父母在丛林中长大，野象、驼鸟、变色龙、牛蛙、豹子、狮子、狒狒……最终都成为她最好的朋友。这本书还我们告诉：尽一切努力爱护我们周围的环境，人与自然是个和谐统一体。这本书给我一个很大的启发：我们要爱护环境，不能让我们未来的环境遭受毁灭性的破坏。爱护环境，利己利人。

当我看到“科学发展、爱护环境”这八个字时，东台的环境新景一一浮现在我的眼前。最近几个月，东台的道路都在扩建中，虽然在施工时，会给行人和车辆带来不便。但是大家都很理解，爱护周围新建的设施以及工地上的建筑设施。每一次，我和妈妈从商场回家时都小心翼翼地经过施工地，从不违规。我听说还要东台的一些休闲场所，建了人工喷泉、水上电影大屏幕、文化长廊等，东台的人们正在使用了高科技来改善我们的生活环境。保护环境的作文400字

地球是一个美丽、富饶的星球，我们人类就居住在这个星球上。但现在地球变得不再美丽：人们为了赚钱不断地砍伐树木，人们为了方便随意乱扔垃圾……

首先，我们说说塑料袋白色污染。现在超市有很多塑料袋，都是用来装东西的。但当人们不用塑料时就会毫不在乎地把塑料袋扔掉，这样似乎很方便，但是人们有没有想过，这样随意地把塑料袋一扔会产生什么后果吗？把塑料袋随意扔到泥土上、花草里、庄稼地里，就会严重污染土地。因为塑料袋不能像树叶一样分解成肥料，所以长期将塑料袋扔在花草、庄稼所生长的泥土里，对它们不利，会影响它们的生长。

接下来，我们来谈谈砍伐树木的事情。现在人们过度砍树，一片片森林在不断地减少。要知道，树木为人类做的贡献可不少！树木可以为我们吸收废气，排放出新鲜空气，还能为我们抵挡洪水，以免发生水灾……哦，对了，还可以乘凉呢！树木为人类做出那么多贡献，因此我想问问大家人类是怎样回报树木的呢？

Nowadays, more and more people realize it`s necessary and important to protect the environment. 还有，以前那汹涌澎湃的黄河，那中华民族的母亲河，可如今，长年泥土沉积，河床提升，洪灾频繁。以前那奔腾不息的长江，那中国人民的摇篮，可现在，已不在是清澈明亮的了，许多工厂排出废水、废渣，使这条玉带逐渐失去它的光彩。这样的环境，对人类意味着什么？意味着人们喝到的最后一滴水，将是自己的眼泪。

还有，在鸟语花香的大森林里，早已不再有以往的快欢。随着工业革命的启动，动物的家园糟到了破坏，人们来到森林，随心所欲地砍伐着树木，做成舒适的家具，拿来贩卖。正在这个时候，你们有没有听见，树木发生出了惨叫，一声比一声高，一声比一声强烈。它们惊恐地睁大眼睛，眼睁睁地看着自己的家园被人类毁灭，逃的逃，奔的奔。砰——一声声枪响，一只只动物挣扎着躺在了血泊中，那一张张冷酷的脸，映在动物们绝望的眼中。还我们的家园！鸟儿在呼唤。还我们的快乐！树木在呐喊。这样的环境，对我们又意味着什么？意味着人们能不能呼吸到最清新的空气。

你们知道吗？现在中国的沙漠和戈壁滩总面积达150多万平方公里，占全国版图的15%，这个严峻的数字太可怕了。世界上森林的平均覆盖率是22%，而中国——这个拥有着13亿人口，960万平方公里土地的泱泱大国，森林覆盖率却只有12.7%，与其它国家相比，相差甚远。

多么骇人的数字！

多么鲜明的对比！

多么严峻的挑战！

我，作为一个炎黄子民，怎么能不感到心酸呢？我时常想：如果人类变了，那我们的世界将会是一个充满爱与鲜花的人间仙境。

环境，对我们意到底味着什么？答案我们都知道，它意味着人类生命的起点和终点。环境，总是在你我践踏着它，忘了珍惜它的时候，最美好的悄然逝去。如果，有一天时间能倒转，我将倡议所有的人们一起将我们索取的完全的还给大自然，我敢断言，那时，人类也就找回了曾经安身立命的家。

我们的小区本来非常干净，可不知谁带头在草丛里扔垃圾……

有一天，我终于忍不住了，“哎，草地呀，是我们让你变的这么脏。”

于是，我从家里拿了一双筷子和一个塑料袋，就开始工作了，这里一共有两块草地，我决定一点儿一点儿的清理。这儿有一片纸，那儿有两个奶盒……草地里的各种垃圾应有尽有。

刚才那一片草地还算好，没想到这一片更糟糕，一件破衣服，一双臭鞋子，两只破鞋垫……都被我捂着鼻子夹到垃圾桶里了。清理完两片草丛我早已累的腰酸背痛，想想环卫工人们太辛苦里。

我呼吁大家，赶快拿起身边的工具，清理我们身边的垃圾吧，让我们行动起来，保护环境，人人有责！

As time goes by, man is making the earth sick. People cut down too many trees and leave rubbish everywhere. Factories let out their waste without doing anything to it . This has caused some serious problems. Such as the land is sandy, the river is dirty, the air is less clean, even the temperature of the earth is rising. What should we do to save the earth ? My suggestion is that we should plant more trees, put rubbish into dusbins and stop factories (from)pouring waste directly into the air or rivers. In all, we have only one earth, we should do our best to protect it, or we will regret.
