The Laba Festival is a traditional Chinese holiday celebrated on the eighth day of the twelfth month of the lunar Chinese calendar. "La" is the name given to the 12th lunar month and 8 is pronounced as "ba" in Chinese, which translated is "Laba." There are several legends about the origin of this festivity and we could not tell which one is true. But what we know today is that this festival started as a sacrificial offering to ancestors. 一大早我就醒了，在我狼吞虎咽下终于吃完了早饭。我连气都没喘一下就连忙去换衣服，一切都准备好了，我和家人一起开开心心的下了楼。我们在楼下等车，可是等了很长时间还没有见到公共汽车来。终于在我一番苦等下车终于来了。我坐在车上一直在幻想卡通乐园到底是什么样子的。很快我们就到达了目的地。

哇!卡通乐园的门口可真漂亮，只见门前有着一个巨大的魔法猪。半空中悬挂着阿拉丁神灯。我们到的时候还没有开门，因为我的好奇心来强，大姐姐就先让我们就去了。刚进门我就看到了旋转木马，旋转木马我以前玩过许多次，但是百玩不腻，最先我就去玩它了。玩完后我又去玩海盗船一上一下不吓人，就有一点晃人。我在里面玩了一上午后，有一点饿了，我们就去卡通乐园里面的森林餐厅去吃饭。吃完饭后，我们又玩了一会。然后我们去未来水上世界去游泳，门票是39元一个人。贵有贵的理由，里面比游泳馆好玩多了。去换完衣服后，我们准备去游泳，游泳池在一楼我们孩子就是从3，4，米高的旋转滑梯滑下去。大人则是从楼梯走下去。我先套好游泳圈然后小心翼翼的走到滑梯上准备滑下去，因为滑梯太陡了在最后一个转弯处差点直飞出去真是有惊无险。因为屋里的水太凉了，我们快速跑到了室外。

室外特别好玩有许多滑滑梯，平台上还有8个大圆圈圆圈里不断喷射着水。青蛙滑滑梯很好玩。为了让孩子们滑，滑梯的时候好滑一些，工作人员会让滑梯不断的出水。我套着游泳圈在水里乱扑棱。还有一个滑梯是不直通水底的，当我滑下去的时候溅起了很大的水花，我滑梯的底部都被水包裹住了。我忘了滑梯不直通水底，就像走平路一样直走下去，直接喝了好几口水，幸亏带了游泳圈，否则我就摔在水里了，可我真是吓死我了。我玩了几小时后，要回家了，可真不舍得!

夏天的天气实在是太热了，我坐在房间里写作业吹着风扇都热的要跳起来，哥哥最怕热了，这会儿脱了上衣正趴在地板上滚来滚去，我看了真是哭笑不得。“我们去游泳吧，太热了，我要泡在水里。”哥哥趴在地板上拉住我的衣服，我根本打算拒绝的，因为我不会游泳，但是看着他可怜兮兮的样子，一心软就答应了。

我和来到游泳馆以后，哥哥整个人都精神了，他整个人像弹簧一样飞到空中，然后像一块大石头一样直直的掉进水里，一时间水花四溅，哥哥飞快的窜入水中，像滑溜的鱼似的轻快的游着，一点都不见了之前萎靡的样子。

我看见哥哥的身手，也非要一展身手，硬是邯郸学步似的‘扑通’跳进水中，结果呢，没游半厘米，便飞速沉没。这下好了，洋相出尽了不说，还喝了一肚子水，在水中那一刻，我忘记了挣扎，悠悠地沉落。还是哥哥厉害，就在我快窒息的时候，哥哥拎小鸡一样把我拎起来，拉起我往岸上游。天啦，打死我也不游了，我吓得躲在岸上，哥哥连拖带拽我才答应了。

我带着一点好奇，死死的抓住铁杆，用脚点了点水，冰凉冰凉的，我小心翼翼的用脚摸索着，好，点到地了，我的心终于落了，我慢慢松开死抓着铁杆的手，脚一缩，浮起来了，哈哈，我悬起脚，我划，我划划划，咦，我怎么向后飘去了，我一急，游泳圈翻了，随着‘啊’的一声，又吃一肚子水，委屈的泪水像开了闸的江水一样滔滔不绝，不料，引起了所有人的注意，大家像看恐龙一样看我，我的脸瞬间变成猴屁股，我不哭了，我又划了起来。

功夫不负有心人，在我坚定不移的决心促使下，我终于学会用游泳圈游泳了。虽然喝了很多的水，虽然只挪动一小步，但是我终于成功了!

这个暑假过的有趣极了，我在哥哥的指导下学会了游泳，等回到学校了，我要好好和我的同学说说这件有趣的事情。

经过两个小时的车程，到达了让我兴奋好久的地方——三峡人家。

刚进去映入我眼帘的是各种小摊，有卖小饰品，小玩具，衣服，帽子，零食……

我们首先去吃了午饭，然后去买了船票，我们一家六口人便上了船，在船上只看见高高的山上，有许多房子，只听见船隆隆的声音。

到了岸上，小摊更多了。走了一段路后，我的眼睛完全被那水迷住了——绿得能看清湖底，那长条的，小个头的鱼儿在墨绿的水藻丛中自由自在地游来游去。更让我惊讶的是，湖上还有许多船，船上有人坐着，有人站着，还有人在吹笛子，也有人在停泊湖边的小船上洗衣服。

“快看!前面那么多人在干嘛呢!”顺着别人指的方向，我看过去，是表演!红灯笼、轿子、鼓、锣，还有贴着喜字的门，莫非是结婚，接着来了一个男的。嗯，说的差不多。听说是他女儿今天想找个如意郎君。伴着锣鼓的声音，许多漂亮的姑娘们伴着新娘下来了，用当地的方言唱了一首我听不懂的歌，然后端着一杯水走到最前排的人面前，很有礼貌地递给了他们。不知道什么时候新娘被一个姑娘扶上了楼。新娘把花球一抛，“啊!”随着一声尖叫，花球被一个小伙子接到了。新娘新郎入洞房，不久，新娘的爸爸妈妈抱出一个小宝宝来。游客们惊呼：“啊，生了。这么快呀!”

表演结束后，我们游客都来到水里嬉水，抓鱼。哇!好多小鱼!于是我便脱掉鞋子，展开身手，拿着矿泉水瓶，抓鱼。唉!最后结果你们也猜到了，一条鱼也没有抓到，真的有点失落。

但在这一天发生了那么事，有趣极了，至今令人回味无穷!

Last night, my parents told me that they would go to have dinner with

friends, so they wouldn’t stay at home and let me to buy something to eat by

myself. I played computer games for a long time and when I got tired, I found it

was almost eight o’clock. I didn’t want to go out, so I opened the fridge, there

were many stuffs for me to make dinner. I had never done it before, I only

watched my mother cook, but I still wanted to try. I made a fire and put the

meat in the pan, the flavors were also mixed in it. When the meat almost got

black, I finished. Whe I tasted, I realized the meat was over cooked. I must

最使我难以忘怀的是中考过后的的那段日子。

中考的成绩，我并不十分理想，说个不怕见笑的话，在东汽一中的录取名单里，如果是按分数排名的话，我只能算最后的10来名，差一点也许我就不在重点线，按理说，父母亲在这个非常时期，在向高等学府冲刺的紧要关头，应该说是利用假期给我补补课。尤其是我的几个好友，他们正在抓紧补习，可是，有谁能理解一个中学生此时此刻的心呢，刚刚从紧张的课堂上走了出来的人，也实在该有点喘息的机会，我也知道我的朋友在补习，有谁能知他们的心情吗，一个好友对我说，他们也是被父母逼的，这个时候那有什么效率，所以他们是人在朝中心在汉，因为实在是太疲倦了，于是我对我的父母说，这个假期，时间属于我的，你们不要干涉好吗?

休整几天过后，我们有7位同学，自行组织，一同骑着自行车，从十堰出发向丹江迈发。我们途经武当山，一路上我们既观看了山河美景，也了解一些风土人情，也学会处理一些生活中的问题，这些都是在课堂上无法见到的东西。如何说，我以后的作文素材真实，写的东西也多了，应该说那是与这次的旅行是分不开的。

从丹江归来，我方兴未艾，在得到大人允许的情况下，从未出过远门的我，平生第一次独自外出，来到我的老家—河南，在那里，我尽情的享受了田园风光，摘野果了，抓青蜓，从那里我知道了我所吃的饭菜是怎么生长出来的。我更知道粮食的来自不易。

就在我即将步入高中的时刻，首先，就我们在学习中的薄弱环节，专程拜访任课老师，让他们直言不讳的指出我的问题的病根，我们都一一把它记在纸上。然后我又特意了解在读的高中生，通过他们，我知道我该注意些什么，在此基础上，我好好的梳理了我自己，重新安排了我在高中的学习计划。

可以说，在这个假期里，我既找到了快乐，也的确学到了很多东西，我既学到了做人的道理，也找到了真实生动的写作素材，既学会了自理，也练就了我自强的个性，正是有了这一段不可莫灭的旅程。着正是我的时间我做主带来的结果。如果是大人的强硬逼迫我补习，也许没有这种收获。

“打扫”书?哪有这么奇怪的名字呀?只有整理书，哪来的“打扫”书?看了这个让人摸不着头脑的题目，大家一定充满了疑惑吧?的确，是很奇怪，不过呀，真有这么件事，我还体验过呢。

我的爸爸妈妈喜欢订阅杂志，所以我家像什么《特别关注》，《意林》，《格言》，《读者》类的期刊多的都数不清了。不过，这时间一长，倒成了一个麻烦了，因为书柜里的书太多，这些杂志只好摆成一堆，乱七八糟地挤在一个角落里。经常不是这本折了角，就是那本丢了皮。这不，我今天中午拿一本书看，刚抽出来“轰隆”一声，一堆儿书全都滑了下来，妈妈见了说：“书太多了，该‘打扫打扫’了，这个事由你来办，你行吗?”没问题!我爽快地答应了。

这件事看似简单，做起来是相当难相当难啊!操作方法是这样的，先把同一类杂志找出来，再按期刊号排，旧的在下面新的在上面，我好不容易整理完一种，刚放进书柜，一扭头，糟糕!落了三本忘数了，我只得又把那些书再搬回来，再分，再找，再排，再搬回来，再开始新的一类……

终于，苦熬了两个小时终于“打扫”完了，我大叫着：“大功告成了，大功告成啦!”妈妈走过来说：“真棒，你真细心呀!”妈妈竖起大拇指，我一边擦擦汗，一边甜甜的笑了。

这次的“打扫”书事件，让我在劳动中体验到了快乐，我真高兴!

暑假非常的漫长，于是，我想制作一个属于我的暑假计划。

我的计划是：星期一~星期五每天8点准时起床，写两个小时的作业，玩三十分钟，看三十分钟电视，中午再睡一会儿午觉。星期六~星期日上午写一个小时的作业，再看一会儿电视，下午去妈妈给我报的课外班。   到了七月的时候，爸爸要从外地回来，和他的大学朋友去聚餐。于是，我们一家三口人准备到首都北京去旅游一个星期。因此，我一直在盼望着爸爸赶快回来，好带我去北京玩一圈。

到了八月的时候，妈妈准备给我报几个课外班。于是，我又要每天到课外班上课了，所以，我得赶快把暑假作业写完才行。

暑假里，为了丰富枯燥的暑假生活，也为了好好锻炼身体，妈妈给我报了羽毛球训练班。我很高兴，在里面转了一转，竟看见了他，以后还指望他能指教指教我呢!

一大早的，我们就开始体能训练，6点钟要到体育场集合。到了那，一听教练说围操场跑5圈!天哪，这可是2000米呀!对于我来说，简直比要命还难。但也没法子，只能跑呗!5圈跑完了，我已经汗流浃背了，跑了16分钟，但我觉得比1小时还长。还没等我喘口气，又是收腹跳50米，蛙跳50米，踢腿走50米，分别2次，太累了!但我想，为了锻炼身体，值了!我一定要坚持下去。终于可以休息了，大家都累得趴下了，我的双腿已经不听使唤了，如果叫我再来一次，我肯定不干!过了5分钟，“3分钟跳绳!”教练一言令下，这消息把我们吓坏了，我们只好拿起绳子不情愿地跳了1分钟，一些人竟想出来一个偷懒的办法，他们看见了不在，马上蹲下，抽了鞋带，再慢慢地系上，也太“聪明”了吧!

一个小时的早练结束了，我大汗淋漓，晚上还要去羽毛球馆，接受专业羽毛球训练。虽然每天很辛苦，但是我体会到了其中的快乐!

转眼间，一个学期过去了，还有十多天就要开始一个崭新的生活。

上了初中，果然如同大人和学长，学姐所说“初中与小学大不相同。”以前，读小学的我，从来不会复习，天天过地无忧无虑，就算是考试的头一天，我也要和小伙伴们玩到九点多，即使不复习也能考得一个好成绩。可是，上了初中，真的与小学生活大不相同：

1、老师上课速度明显加快，不再像小学老师再一再二的讲同一个知识点(上课必须认真听讲);

2、需要记的知识点大大增多，每天必须复习当天的知识点(不能考试前开夜车);

3、不应该只惊现于书本上的知识，应该丰富知识面(试卷会有许多不是书本上的知识)……这些都是我总结出来的。

为了弥补我上学期放的不足，所以为下学期制定了这些计划：

1、每天必须完成复习、预习。

2、每天都要总结当天还有什么不足的地方。

3、上课必须认真听讲，不开小差。

4、每个月读完一本名著，周末多看新闻和科教频道。

5、在学校遵守规章制度，配合老师6、每天进步一点点，正如我们老班所说“每天进步一点点，不管是多是少，一天天进步一小步，积累起来就是一大步。”

一个学期过去了，自己在进步，当然别人也在进步;自己在努力，当然别人也在努力;因为每一次考试竞争力都会更加激烈，只有不断的努力，不断的吸取教训，不断的弥补错误，才能有所进步。

放暑假啦，所以爸爸带我回老家玩个痛快。

回到了老家，家人都非常热情好客，我三姐兴奋地和我说："明天，田里的稻谷就要收割了，你和我们一起去收割吧"我心想：如果有蚂蟥怎么办?它可会吸人血的呀!我犹豫了片刻说："会有蚂蟥吗?"三姐爽快地说："没关系有水鞋，蚂蟥不会吸血的。“我的心里总算安了心。

第二天，我早早地就起床了，等待着收割。然后全副武装和三姐还有一个比我小一岁的妹妹来到了田地，走在泥泞、狭窄的路上，觉得不小心就容易滑到田里，会被蚂蟥咬，可这事说来就来，我小心地走着到一个非常泥泞的地方，脚一踩到地上，唰的摔到了田里，我心想：啊!我这乌鸦嘴，，我起不来了!三姐看见后，连忙用力地把我拖了上来，三姐害怕地说：“小心点儿被蚂蟥咬了可不好办呀!”一场惊恐过后，终于到了田里，二姑正在专心致志地收割着。

表妹看见水里有几只小蝌蚪连忙捉了起来，我用泥土建了一个窝把小蝌蚪放进去，把水倒入泥土里，可一下子水就浸入泥里了，于是表妹赶紧又去装水倒入泥巴里，可怜的小蝌蚪在泥里拼命的扭动身体。我和表妹干脆把泥里的小蝌蚪抓出来丢去别人的田地，马上又去水里捉小蝌蚪放在泥窝里，装水放水，丢掉小蝌蚪……就这样重复着玩了几个小时。

这个暑假我过得又欢乐又害怕!

After the challenging College Entrance Examination, my anticipated summer holiday has begun. I will have a long winter holiday for almost three month. But I have already planned for it. When the trip ends, it’s time for the college.
