As everyone knows, stress is a natural part of everyday life and there is

no way to avoid it. As the pace of modern life continues to increase, we are

always feeling on the go from morning till night. And it is hard to slow down.

Therefore, stress goes hand in hand with the life in a competitive society.

Different people, however, think of stress quite differently. Some believe

that stress is not the bad thing it is often supposed to be. They are of the

opinion that a certain amount of stress is vital to provide motivation and give

purpose to life. Others argue that stress contributes to one’s mental decline

and hence endangers his health. According to them, relaxation, the opposite of

stress, is essential for a healthy mind and body.

Personally, I’m in favor of the former view. I think it is impossible to

avoid stress when one is entirely devoted to the career he pursues. In my

opinion, it is only when the stress gets out of control that it can lead to poor

performance and ill health.

秋天是一个丰收的季节。9月8日爸爸带着我和妈妈去乡村体验秋天的傍晚。

20：45分我们驾车离开了喧闹的城市，到了一片田野里。首先映入眼帘的是一片绿油油的包谷地，杆很高，大约有我两人那么高，上面结满了硕大的包谷，顶着一头洋气的卷发，有的是紫檀色的、有的是咖啡色的、有的是金黄色的……

远处是一排排高耸笔直的杨树，树下是一片花花绿绿的菜地，田间菜农一副忙碌的身影。

这时候，在“树天相接”的空中，出现了变化多端的云彩，其中有一块最神奇，像一只大白兔，长着长长的耳朵，正在啃一个大萝卜，慢慢地，大白兔又变成了带翅膀的天使，又变成一个秋千，后来慢慢散开了，什么都不像了。周围的云彩有的像洒在碧蓝的天空中的棉花团、有的像大山、有的像海边的田螺……，揉揉眼的瞬间功夫，又发生了变化，或者就找不到了。

21：00左右，天空有些暗了，蓝天也变成了暗灰色，捡棉花的农民伯伯也坐上了毛驴车准备回家了，车上装满了雪白的棉花，赶车的伯伯摸着他的山羊胡，嘴里哼着听不懂的歌，正乐呵呵沉浸在丰收的喜悦之中。乡村小路上回家的羊群鼓着圆圆地肚皮，远处农庄顶上也冒出了袅袅炊烟，我似乎也闻到了阵阵饭香。

21：30，爸爸说我们该回家了，我也感觉到了空气凉爽起来，鞋面的装饰上挂上了调皮的露珠，光露在外面的胳膊也湿润了起来，只好慢慢收回了的眼帘，依依不舍的离开了。
