这是个酷热难当的炎夏，我来到外婆家过暑假。大姨也从外地回来了，带着我的小弟弟。

有一天，天气非常炎热，我和弟弟商量下午去河头游泳。得到了大姨的允许后，我爬上阁楼，把我和弟弟的游泳圈拿下来，用刷子把游泳圈里里外外刷了个遍，放在阳光下晒干。

前几天，我随着姑父一家来到了宝丰，并在他家住了几天。可惜在我来的这四天里有三天白天都停电。为了解乏，姑父决定带我们一起去竹溪玩儿。

竹溪虽然是个县，但它却比竹山大的多，好玩的地方也多。出发的前一天晚上，姑父还特意的搜了一下竹溪有什么景点，一看有一个游泳俱乐部，心里立马有了主意，给我和妹妹说：“我们要不去游泳吧。”心里本来想，那儿也没有什么正规的游泳池吧，再说了，待在水里总比待在地上凉快吧。就这样没有多想就去了。

从宝丰到竹溪走高速，不用半个小时就到啦。到了竹溪，虽只是个县，但街道四通八达，问了三个当地人才到那儿，一到那儿立马傻了眼，脑子里一片空白：50米长的标准游泳池，只不过是露天的而且几根浮标也被下了，有两个一米深的儿童泳池，占了很小的一块地儿，水深有一米六，根本够不到底，终于发现原来长高点很有好处的。换好了泳衣，来到泳池边，心中有无数只羊驼在奔腾：即使我学过游泳，但也有一年多没游过了呀。当时有一种冲动想到浅水区有游，但太丢人了。姑父也不会游，于是他干脆租来了三个游泳圈，一人一个。

下水了，开始心里还是有点慌，只敢在岸边套着游泳圈有一会儿，但是丝毫不会懈怠，始终保持着蛙泳，姑夫鼓励我和妹妹往中间游，我们俩儿脚一蹬，比谁游得快。一圈过后我们都觉得游泳圈是一个累赘，于是在岸边取下游泳圈，带上游泳镜，先试试憋气，还好去年暑假一个星期的水没白喝，苦没白受，憋气还是可以的，现在要看可不可以游起来。由于去年那个游泳教练给我们带来的心理阴影太多，我和妹妹犹豫不决，到底是游还是不游，最后还是让姑父看着游，一个一个来。手扶着边儿，心中一直有两个小人在争论是“游”还是“不游”，最终还是举着“游”的牌子的小人赢了。鼓起勇气，脚一蹬墙壁，手一放，深吸一口气，手和腿用上十成的劲儿，可以自己游了，只是游不了多远，力气不够，还需多多锻炼呀！

早晨，一层清清的烟雾笼罩着湖面，好像水面上披着一件婚纱，太阳出来了，不一会儿就烟消云散。荷花含苞待放！不一会儿就开放了。远望这些荷花，哇！好美啊！简直就像在仙境里一样。这时，便让人们想起了一首诗，“小荷才露尖尖角，早有蜻蜓立上头。”抬头一看，这不就说的是这里吗？

正午时，是一天最热的时候，把人们热得大汗淋漓时，荷花却蒸蒸日上，小青蛙在荷叶上高声唱着“呱呱”的歌儿，这高吭的歌声吸引来了许多小鱼和同伴。看！他们正拿“乐器”演奏呢！于是，荷花成了它们的玩耍的中心点，也成了它们的活动地点。

傍晚，下起了蒙蒙细雨。于是，荷叶变成了小鱼们的伞。雨停了，荷叶上的露珠在来回滚动，就像几滴泪珠在眼睛里滚动，风一吹，荷花往一侧倾斜，于是，来回滚动的露珠就掉到了花池里了。

晚上，荷花收朵了，好像在说：“我要睡觉了，晚安。”这时的荷花池也“安静”了下来。在月光的照映下，别有一番风情。

我爱这夏天的荷花池。

夏天的早晨往往是最美好的，每一段时间都有不同的情景、味道也是不同的。

四点半的时候，天空渐渐的从蔚蓝变到深蓝，再从深蓝变为蓝灰，最后变成浅蓝。天渐渐泛起鱼肚白，然后一点一点亮起来，月亮和星辰的光辉慢慢淡去，然后变成半透明的影子，一点点渐渐隐匿，与天融为一体。

五点，天大亮，渐渐的蓝白令人倍感清新，冰冰凉凉，像夏天的刨冰，在夏日带来一阵清凉。天虽亮，却仍然像蒙了一层浅灰色半透明的纱，不见太阳，不见云。路旁的橘黄色的路灯与远处高楼有着几点淡黄。米黄亮的灯光陆续熄灭，此时天亮了，终于放心的地熄灯休息了。

五点半，公园中树林层层叠叠的、碧绿、墨绿、浅绿、嫩绿的叶子交织在一起。风过，叶浪起，似胶如漆，又过了一会儿，天终于揭开了浅灰色的面纱，顿觉整个世界都亮了，心境莫名的开朗。叶林中传来几声鸟鸣，耳朵里仿佛听到了翅膀的朴麦声，几分喜欢又有几分期待。

六点十五分，天空出现了云彩，大约过了五分钟，一道半柔和半烛目的金光冲天而起，刚出现就给轮着的云彩披上金色的纱衣，一片霞悠悠显现。之后的一段时间里什么样的红色都出来了。刹那间，就出现了朝气的太阳冉冉升起，何等大气，何等磅礴的日出。一个美丽的早晨，又一天开始了。

Viewing vs.Reading

The pace of reading, clearly,depends entirely upon the reader. He may read

as slowly or as rapidly as he can or wishes to read. If he does not understand

something, he may stop and reread it, or go in search of elucidation before

continuing.

The reader can accelerate his pace when the material is easy or less

than interesting, and slow down when it is difficult or absorbing.

If what he

reads is moving, he can put down the book for a few moments and cope with his

emotions without fear of losing anything.

Low-carbon life is good for everyone. To help with the environment, I

always walk or ride a bike to school instead of taking a car. Besides, I will

try to use things that can be recycled and I never forget to turn off the lights

when I leave the classroom. I think it’s my duty to live a low-carbon life. And

even the simplest activities can make a real difference to the environment. So I

suggest we should reuse books as long as possible. And we’d better not spend

much money on expensive clothes. If everyone does something for the environment,

I believe the earth will be a better place.

冬去春来，时间如流水划过，转眼又是夏天，树木葱绿，整个世界有了别样的面孔——绿。浓烈的绿泼洒的到处都是，听夏日虫鸣，我与你再次与这里相聚。你揪着衣角，那种欲哭与难过的心情突兀在脸上，你握起我的手，眼泪打在手背上，你说你要转学了，不能跟我一起上初中了，你说会想我，这辈子最遗憾的是没跟我永远在一起。我把小学六年的友谊都埋藏在那棵树下，那里存留着温馨和你笑脸迷离。此次树下分离，这棵树就再也没见过我与你的身影。

赤日炎炎，令人忆起刚踏着婀娜多姿舞步离开的春天。虽然夏日的热气腾腾使人感到焦虑不安，但他的热情奔放，蹦跳的活泼表情，以及那发自真心的自然笑意，都让我忍不住爱上夏天。在夏意正浓、夏山如碧、夏树翠绿的日子里，最吸引我的便是那高悬在天空的太阳，沁人心脾的碧海，和炙热的薰风。

讲到盛夏，许多人不免联想到蔚蓝的大海，一片片翠绿的稻田，猖狂的烈日，与散发阵阵花香的花园。当然，种下的燠热难当，也是众人对夏天的深刻印象之一。可是，若没有太阳的毒热，你又怎么能领会到宝蓝-大海的美呢？当我站在热浪滚滚的海边，如丝绒般的白沙，如宝石般澄澈剔透的大海，如孩童爱在我身旁说话的海风，瞬间就能消除身上的烦热。

咸-的海，是夏天最棒的享受！它比沁凉的西瓜还要酣畅淋漓，它比绿意盎然的森林容易消暑，它比-镇的饮料，还能令我心中绽放初畅快的花朵。烈日中天的海岸格外热闹，不仅人声鼎沸，连鱼虾都来凑热闹，灿灿阳光更是晒得白沙热得发烫；夏夜的海可说是异常的宁静，只有微小的虫鸣鸟叫，只有海浪轻轻的低声哼唱，只有鱼儿们兀自在海中嬉戏玩闹。

夏天的美好，莫过于在浪花中前进，在海风中接受大自然的洗礼，在沙滩上追逐玩乐，这种感觉，至今仍在我心中荡漾，在我脑海中悬挂。

虽说夏给人的第一印象便是热，挡不住的热，但夏的夜晚仿佛一幅冷色调的名画，别有一番风味。

在夏天的午后或是傍晚，总是会有一场雷阵雨如约而至。“哗哗”的雨点带走了白昼逼人的暑气，雨后，那千姿百态的火烧云也渐渐暗淡下来，失去耀眼的光辉，夜幕悄悄无声地来了，这深蓝色的天幕是那么的迷人，一颗颗小巧玲珑的星星亮着淡淡的光，好像无数颗钻石星罗棋布地镶嵌在夜幕上，整个天幕犹如一颗硕大的蓝宝石，数不胜数的星星被一个个小孩，调皮得眨着眼睛，闪烁着晶莹的光芒，富有神秘感。

在群星的簇拥下，月亮姑娘步履轻盈地走出来了，她体态端庄，用白纱遮住了自己秀美的脸庞，与星星相伴。坐在石头上仰望星空，看着明媚的月亮与调皮的星星，引起我无数美好的遐想，天上星星凑在一起像是在说悄悄话呢，月亮也偶尔穿上漂亮的纱裙，害羞得躲在云彩背后，月夜是那么美，美得让人陶醉。

夏夜的大地像热闹的舞台，蛐蛐弹琴，青蛙歌唱，提灯笼的萤火虫在忽闪忽现地跳舞，歌声阵阵，琴声悠悠。

一阵晚风吹来，好似能吹进你的心理，把你的烦恼吹走，迷人，沙哑而又富有情调的嗓音，飞扬在细碎的石沙中，不知不觉之中浸润我的心田。

多么美丽的夏夜阿，晶莹，调皮的星星在无际的天宇上闪烁动人的光芒，表演者在草丛中，池塘边，树隙上轻轻唱出抒情的乐曲，他们用自己的歌声把人们送进了甜蜜的梦乡。

多变，美丽，迷人的夏日给人们带来了炎热，也带来了凉爽，星空，明月，萤火虫，蛐蛐他们记载了夏日的风趣。
