去年的夏天，我潜心读了《夏日天鹅》。读过这本书后，我开始审视自己和生活。

这本书讲述的是一个十四岁名叫萨拉的小女孩，在一个夏日里经历的种种不快乐到快乐的事。她为自己的一双大脚而哭（萨拉的脚和一个叫布尔·杜亨的男孩儿一样大），为自己长得不漂亮而烦恼（椭圆形的脸，圆圆的棕色眼睛，额前垂着棕色的刘海，鼻子上都有雀斑），为没有相称的衣服和鞋子而抱怨，她不满意所有人——姐姐，姑姑，爸爸，同学……后来萨拉在倾尽全力找回因去找天鹅而失踪的智障的弟弟后，她变成了爱自己、爱家人、爱生活，珍惜亲情友情的一个快乐女孩。

生活中，每个人的生命可能是脆弱的，但是经过磨练后，他就会变得无比坚强。同时，对生活、对生命、对家人也会有新的了解。

我相信生活中有很多美好的事物，好好想想那些握在手里的幸福，努力审视自己和生活，自己真心地投入生活，多给自己一点快乐，即使今天让人沮丧，明天的风声依然会带走那些让人难过的情绪。

萨拉经过那个暑假，成天看什么都不顺，觉得自己是全世界最可怜的人，却在她和同学一起寻找迷路的智障弟弟那天成长起来，重新找回自己愉快的心情。给我更多的是对人生的启迪，以前的我，总是以年纪小、不懂事为借口，对家人产生不满，和同学产生矛盾，不懂得感恩，不珍惜友情，现在想想，那时的我真是太不应该了。

自从读了《夏日天鹅》这本书后，我明白了其中蕴含的道理，让我懂得了爱，教我生活要快乐，坚强那就不会错的。

Although MCEA would like to see Palo Alto public schools implement the first bilingual Chinese kindergarten class in September of 2006, we have learned that the school district must take the time to understand how a new program will affect existing educational offerings, and to validate community interest. 小时候，我不愿意帮助别人，认为他们不行，就是他们自己的事儿。但在今年暑假，我看过《夏日庭院》后，我不这么认为了。

《夏日庭院》是日本作家汤本香树实的作品。它讲述了河边、山下和木山帮助一位很老很老，已对生活失去信心的老爷爷重拾信心，并帮助他将《夏日庭院》重新打理好，直到老爷爷闭目去世的故事。

轻轻合上书页，我震撼了。就像巨石滚进湖中溅起涟漪；就像天空中砰砰作响的焰火；就像夜空中阵阵飞过的一颗颗流星。原本一群想看到人是怎么逝去的调皮的好奇的孩子们，因为遇到这位老爷爷，他们不仅帮助老爷爷改变，还在无形中改变了他们自己。别看一开始十分生疏，但在最后，老爷爷去世了，他们也要去看一看曾经结识老爷爷的地方。

生活中，这样的情谊看似远在天边，但却近在眼前。比如在上学前，为了让差生也跟上我们的脚步，我们几个好学生建立了一个90分冲刺群，在“同桌一帮一”的基础上帮助考试不及格的学生复习、辅导、提高，甚至冲刺。在期末，我们好学生更乐于助人，差生的成绩也有所提高。

互帮互助之情，随处可见，邻里、同学、亲戚……如果人们都能够互帮互助，那么世界将充满爱！

暑假，是一年之中最炎热的时候，大家都会闭门不出，在房间吹着空调，抵抗酷热的来袭。

太阳火辣辣地炙烤着大地，地面被烤得滚烫滚烫。大地就像一个大锅，而我们就像热锅上的蚂蚁，被热得团团转。树顶上的树叶全黄了，它们都是一个个可怜的小伤员，被火热的太阳光“烤焦”了，就连在树阴下的树干也被烤的发烫。

街上的行人越来越少。偶尔几个出门的都穿着防晒衣，戴着口罩，打着太阳伞。就像一个蒙面大侠，谁都认不出谁是谁。谁让他们全副武装了呢？

太阳也给我们的出行带来了不便，车子被晒得很烫，一个鸡蛋打上去都可以煎熟，坐在车里也感到闷热难受。这么热，就算有一桌的山珍海味，我也吃不下，就算有再大的电风扇、再冷的空调，我也难以入眠，夏天的热真让人烦恼。

大自然的音乐家知了，在夏日给大家演奏了一支清醒曲，让大家难以入眠。知了在树上叫着“好热，好热，”就像一台收音机。我恨不得让它们全都消失。如果我能实现一个愿望，我真想一年四季都是秋天，永远不会变，这样我就可以安安静静地好好睡个懒觉了。

最后，我希望夏天每天都能安安静静，永远不会有噪音，每天都能凉凉爽爽。

太阳高高地挂在空中炙烤着大地，路上的车来来往往，但路上的行人却寥若晨星。今天我和哥哥约好要去他家门口的小河里划皮划艇的，一回到家我就迫不及待地让妈妈开车送我到哥哥家去。

到了哥哥家旁的小河边，只见水上漂着水草的地方占了小河的三分之一左右，没有水草的地方在太阳的照射下泛着碧青色的色泽。我们把皮划艇放到小河里洗了一下，换上泳装就上船了。我摆出划船“国际标准”姿势——用左手固定船桨的顶部，再用右手握住船桨的中部向后划水。物理老师说过这样动力臂小于阻力臂，虽然费力，但是省距离，所以划起来就会很稳。可是不知怎么回事，船一直在原地转圈。划了一会儿，始终找不到划船的感觉，我就不划了，去游泳了。

这是今年我第一次在野河里游泳，我很激动。我跟朋友比赛，说好谁先游到对面的码头谁就赢。我拿出我认为游得最快而且最省力的仰泳，一开始我们几个齐头并进，不分彼此。过了一会儿，我游得有点慢，所以落后了一段距离。快到终点了，我加快了速度，想赶上他们，可是为时已晚，我落到了倒数第二名，最后一名是一个七八岁的小孩。我心里很不服气，让他们休息一会儿和我再比一次。

比赛又一次开始了，我调整好呼吸，脚下卯足了劲，刚说“开始”，我就用力蹬了出去，一下子游出去好远，我暂时处于领先地位。过了一会儿，离终点不远了，我又多加了把力，来了一个最后的冲刺，终于我到达了终点。我高兴地打着水，尽管我很累。

我爬上皮划艇休息，又想划一划试试。我这回一个人拿两个桨一起划，竟然划得起来。我两手一摇一摇地划着，划累了，我就在船上歇会儿。歇着歇着，我竟小睡了一会儿。

夕阳的余晖渐渐地斜映而下，远在天际的云彩被太阳映照得绚丽夺目。不知哪来的风，在那边划出一道又一道的痕迹，我们在斜阳的映照下顺着老路上了岸。果然是说春花秋月，夏云冬雪，这夏天的云是如此的与众不同，这夏日的事也是如此的趣味横生。

晚上，我睡着之后，不知能否梦到那令我印象深刻的趣事。小河，老路，斜阳，彩云……当然还有我的朋友，与我共同见证了这一缤纷夏日的欢乐趣事。

我很享受这种快乐，不是因为放假，而是因为我真心热爱这个暑假，热爱这个夏天……

热闹的集市

“咕咕，咕咕！”布谷鸟的叫声使寂静的小村庄从睡梦中醒来，人们开始了一天的劳作。早晨的集市繁华而又热闹。满街的人，拥拥挤挤的。人们边走边聊，与熟人见面打个招呼，路边的小摊贩正吆喝着推销自己的新鲜蔬菜，早餐店门口早已排起了长龙。问候声，叫卖声，吆喝声，砍价声，欢笑声……使这条平凡的小街变得更加和谐。

嬉闹的池塘

炎炎夏日，小朋友们来到户外。在邻近小街旁，那有一个小池塘。池塘的水不深，但很清澈，还有鲤鱼悠然地游来游去。小朋友一个个撸起袖子，挽起裤腿，“扑通扑通”扎进水里，真凉快！

夏夜，音乐会仍在继续。漆黑的天幕，昏暗的路灯、皎洁的月光，构成了一个庄严又闪亮的舞台。闭上眼睛，微风送来轻柔的背景音乐。

池塘里的小青蛙“呱呱呱”，他是夏夜的主唱；蚂蚱拿起自己的小提琴，迫不及待地想为夏夜独奏一曲；路旁的杨柳姑娘随着音乐袅袅起舞；萤火虫是一群可爱的小精灵，提着小灯笼，打造出如梦如幻的童话世界。置身于这样的美景，我进入甜美的梦乡。

jinmao building has chinese traditional styles and it is also modern. it is the signal construction of shanghai. it is located in the center of lujiazui financial area. our family visited jinmao building today.

the traffic there is very convenient. you can got here by tunnel and no.2 subway. and if you live near it, you can walk there just like our family. we went to the eighty-eighth floor of jinmao building. we saw the whole view of shanghai there. please come to jinmao building, and you will get some unexpected gains there.

My father has a good friend, and I called him uncle Li. He works in a

college and teaches literature. Uncle Li is a gentleman, the way he talks and

walks shows that he has received good education. I like to discuss movies with

him. He always can give me profound ideas. No matter where he is, people respect

him a lot. I admire uncle Li so much. I wish someday I could be the person like

him. If we want others to show respect, then we need to make ourselves the

句子的整体性：即能表达单独的、完整的思想。

【分析】这个句子表达了两层思想：1. Born in a small town出生在一个小镇 2. grew up to be a musician.长大成为了音乐家。这个句子应该分成两句来写。除此之外，还需要增加一些信息来连接两层思想。

【提升】He was born in a small town in South China in the early 50s. In his childhood he liked to sing. Later he entered a music conservatory. In the 70s, he grew up to be an accomplished musician.

特点二：连贯性

句子的连贯性：即能清晰地连接句子的各个部分，没有虚假的平行结构，没有指代不请的代词，没有不清晰的句内关系。

Eg. Upon entering the classroom, the students stood up and said, "good morning!"

【分析】这个句子从语法来讲是正确的，但是句内关系不清楚，到底谁进入了教室？

【提升】When the teacher entered the classroom, the students stood up and said, "good morning!"

Eg. Elizabeth and I enjoy walking, to ski, travel and teaching university students.

【分析】这个句子的连贯性较差，可以利用平行结构来体现连贯性。

【提升】Elizabeth and I enjoy walking, skiing, traveling and teaching university students.

特点三：准确性

句子的准确性指句子内部没有不准确的，不必要的词。

Eg. He returned in the early part of the month of August.

【分析】这个句子感觉有故意写长之嫌，需要精简。

【提升】He returned in early August.

特点四：重点突出

好的句子应该重点突出，词的选择，词的重复都有助于句子的重点突出。

Eg. When the bank robbers entered the bank they yelled, "dont move!"

【分析】这个句子比较平淡，可以修改一下动词。

【提升】When the bank robbers rushed into the bank they yelled, "dont move!"

特点五：语法正确，句式多变

句式多变指句子长短结合。如果全篇都是复杂的长难句，文章读起来会晦涩难懂，并且有挑衅阅卷人之嫌。反之，全篇都是短句，感觉有侮辱阅卷人之感。

Eg. Daisy, who was the first-year student of college, would go to a par near her school every day in morning, she would bring a small recorder with her, in park she would find quiet corner and listen to a tape of English stories.

【分析】这个句子不仅仅存在语法问题，另外还有完整性，准确性问题。

【提升】Daisy, a first-year college student, enjoys studying in the park near her school. Each morning she brings a small recorder, finds a quiet corner in the park, and listens to a tape of English stories.

如果同学们在写句子的时候，注意以上五点，相信大家一定能够写出正确，完整，准确的英文句子。

走过多少个夏天，我已记不清了。

今年又到了夏天，天热得出奇，人闷在家里，汗嗤嗤往下掉。不得不拿把蒲扇摇摇，或者打开电风扇吹吹。

出门是另一番景象，太阳火辣辣的烤着大地，幸好我住在农村，夏便添了绿滋味。
