Christmas is one of the most important celebrations of the year for the western countries. It falls on the twenty- fifth of December and has the same importance as Chinese New Year to people with English backgrounds. The celebration is for the birth of Jesus Christ, who is the son of God in Christianity. Now days Christmas is no longer only celebrated by the Christians, but by most people from all over the world.

On the twenty- fourth of December everyone gets excited for it’s the day before Christmas which is called Christmas Eve. The children are usually sent to bed early and are warned that “Santa Claus will only come and give you a present if you be good.” The younger kids actually believe that Santa will come down the chimney on the sleigh that’s pulled by his reindeers. Food like short bread and beer are prepared for Santa when he comes, however most times parents just eat them. Some children put socks and sacks up for the holding of the presents (that their parents put in).

Rise and shine on Christmas morning! The children are always the first ones to wake up, some even do at four. Present wrappers everywhere! They look into their presents with a big smile on their face and oh dear….I hope no one’s disappointed. I feel sorry for anyone that got pink underwear. Children play while dinner is prepared by the adults. The Christmas dinner are usually eaten together by relatives. The tradition of Christmas pudding and roosters are usually eaten with deserts afterwards. The rest of the day is usually games and fun before the good days all come to an end.

1、认真回顾课本知识

这个阶段过程主要是用于高中三年全部课程的回顾。这时候希望大家在回顾的过程中能够找到自己知识遗漏的部分。

这个阶段相当的冗长，最主要的是要会学回归课本。无论如何，高考绝大部分内容都贴近课本的。高考试题的80%是基础知识，20%是稍难点的综合题，掌握好基础，几乎能上一个比较不错的大学。因此高三前期，希望同学们老老实实把课本弄懂。弄懂课本不是光记住结论，而是要通读。即理科全部的原理要弄清、语文课文内标注的字词句摘抄、英语课文至少要达到念的通顺、文史类知识主线及同类型知识要素要学会整理等。

注意，第一轮复习十分重要，大家千万不要埋头做题，而是先看课本，再“精”做题目。在复习过程中一定先将课本看明白了，然后再做题，做题过程中不许看课本，不许对答案。会就会做，不会做一定要先想哪些内容遗忘了，哪里想错了，先做后面的，等隔一定时间再看不会做的，马上看的话效果打折扣的。

2、把握好自己的节奏

很多学生因为在复习过程中跟不上老师的节奏，导致前面部分没弄懂，后面部分更是拉下，学校在教学节奏控制上又不能根据学生本身制定。

May 12th is an ordinary day in 2008,itis in this day that shocking earthquake happened in Sichuan province,China.The earthquake destroyed nearly everything in Wenchan county Sichuan province. It was terrible.We cant describle the scene what we saw with any words.thousands of people were injured even died. today is an exciting day. in the morning we had the singing contest. everyone did well in it. somebody sans lyrics and somebody didn’t. when the result came out, only audrey and ellison could be in the second run. vanessa was very sad. but finally she was in the second run. it was really great news for her.

we stayed in our rooms for the whole afternoon. we played cards, slept, read, practiced some english songs for the contest and did out homework. it was a little boring.

Spring Festival is my favourite festival. This years Spring Festival is in

February 8th. On New Years Eve, everyone will wear new clothes. My parents and

of dishes for us to cook hot pot. These dishes are very delicious. Everyone ate

Some of them liked learning, but they had to go to find jobs to make money. Since they were children, they could do lots of difficult things like their parents. Sometimes they even did better than them!

But now, many families have only one child and they regard their child as a pearl. They did everything for the children. Every day, when the child gets up, their parents help him to make the room clean. They also get breakfast ready for their child. When the child is free, they can sleep or do other things, but they neednt do any housework. So many children cant cook; wash their clothes, some dont even know how to clean the floor. That’s too bad.

In the future, many families will have computers. We can work on the computer instead of going out to do everything. The children also can learn on the computers, so they dont need to move! After a long time, well become fatter and fatter. We wont be able to do anything by ourselves!

So, which way is good for us? We must think more.
