7月25日至8月3日，七所完全中学举办了为期10天的英语夏令营活动。此次活动是由美中教育机构(esec)和教育局联合主办，由香港施永青基金会等机构大力资助的。时光飞逝，10天的夏令营活动结束了。现对在中学开展的英语夏令营活动做一总结。

此次活动是为丰富学生的暑假生活，提高学生的英语学习兴趣，拓宽学生的视野而开展的。弥补了传统英语教学形式上的不足，丰富了学校的英语教学，激发了学生的学习兴趣，丰富了学生的英语知识，提高了学生的学习能力和团队意识。

中学的英语夏令营活动是由来自山西的3名大学生志愿者主持，由本校3名优秀英语教师辅助开展的。这种”1+1”的合作模式有利于优化课程设计，使课程更贴近学生的实际，为此次活动的顺利开展奠定了良好的基础。此次活动的主体是中学初中的百位优秀学生。来自不同年级的学生随机混合组成三个班，这样有利于实施以学生为中心的教学法，使学生相互学习，共同进步。

此次活动的课程设计是由志愿者和本校的教师参考美中教育机构提供的模板，根据当地实际情况精心设计的。志愿者和教师对课程内容灵活操作，将玩与学有机结合，寓教于乐。主体内容有意在提高英语听说读写能力的各种游戏如hot potato、who am i等和意在提高团队凝聚力的music chair、english song等。还有涉及英美文化、利用手势突破发音。此外，老师们还放映了适合初中英语学习的英文电影。志愿者还利用准备的材料和自身特长教给了孩子们一些英语歌曲和舞蹈。总之，此次活动的内容丰富，形式多样，满足了初中生的发展需求。

此次活动中，学生们除了学到英语知识和学习方法外还了解到了现代大学生的生活是什么样的。这些见识增强了学生们对大学的向往，增强了学生们的学习动力和学习兴趣。志愿者和教师的鼓励和关爱帮助孩子们突破心理障碍，树立自信，有利于孩子们的健康成长。

我们通过此次活动，获得了一些宝贵的经验，通过和师生交流也发现了一些问题。这对以后的教学工作和类似的活动的开展都有有益的指导意义。成功的经验是要夯实基础知识，丰富教学形式，引进教学方法，激发学习兴趣，提高学习能力。发现的问题是学生们的英语基础知识薄弱，如不能根据音标识读单词，没能掌握语法基础知识(句子成分，词类等)。在以后的教学工作中，我们要注重基础知识，多给英语老师自主权，让其尽展才华，丰富教学方法。在以后类似活动中，我们应注意立足本校实际情况，同时积极配合志愿者组织安排活动内容。

此次活动总体上是成功的，我们希望以后能有更多类似的活动来丰富学生们的学习生活。

什么是旅行?有人说：“放假、旅行社、大巴车、导游、纪念品、回家、上班。NO，这不是旅行，而是一场被时间和人左右的“游玩”从开始准备到我踏上火车上的那一刻，我才懂得了旅行的意思，人生亦是旅程，我们不断的走，不断的走，应为没有一个值得让你停留的风景，生活也是如此，有时候我们需要遇到对的。

旅行很简单，一个背包就够了，坐在火车上，手里拿着那张未知风景线的车票，而心灵早已飞出窗外。真正的旅行是没有目的地。灯红酒绿的城市充斥着水泥钢筋的冷漠和这个世界的炎凉，有时候旅行也是逃避现实最好的方法。世界就是这么大，总有你走不到的地方，便不会有碌碌无为，这就是旅行的正能量。漫步在3。2万公里的海岸线，金色的沙滩上每一颗沙粒都是与众不同，犹如60亿人类，相互之间的摩擦，融合，包容，才会形成一个基本的集体，然后才会有文明，才会有未来。浮在珠穆朗玛峰的浮云之间，浅浅的飘在山顶，雪白的山顶与天上的云已经不知不觉地构成人世间最美妙的乐章，这就是旅行的纯洁，人心最深处的触动。你可以去想象，去构造一个属于你一个人的世界。马路上不再是没有生命的汽车，而是一群群来自草原的野马，他们是多么开心，多么自由，多么有生命力，随意的摇摆自己身上的鬃毛，他们不再是人类的艺术品，和人类一样，可以主宰属于他们自己的一片绿洲城市不再是喧哗的代名词，路边也不再是即将枯萎的老树，灯光永远不是枯黄的颜色，你怎么想这个世界，她就是你的所想，只是她只在你的眼里。

歌德说过：“我们的生活就像旅行，思想是导游者，没有导游者，一切都会停止。目标会丧失，力量也会化为乌有”人一定要疯狂一次，要么为了一个人，要么为了爱情，要么为了旅行，或者是为了梦想。

My sister was fond of traveling. Ever since graduating, she had been

determined to organize a trip to an old temple. Since transporting fare was

expensive, she decided to use a bicycle to cycle there not caring about the

disadvantages. Her stubborn attitude was always her shortcoming. Once she made

up her mind to do something, no one could persuade her to change her mind.

Finally, we gave in as usual though we preferred to take a train. After we

prepared everything, including the schedule, reliable weather forecast and the

insurance, we began our trip.

Our journey was along a river flowing from a high altitude. Our pace was

slow because the river frequently had many sharp bends through deep valleys,

where the water seemed to boil. Just as I recorded in my journal, it was really

a hard journey. But we also enjoyed great views. One night, I put my head on my

pillow--a parcel of wool coats, and lay beneath the stars. When the flame in

front of our cave went out at midnight, I found the sky so beautiful!
