In the picture, an old man is sitting in the wheelchair, and a dog is serving him with milk and food. Ironically, it is the dog that takes the responsibility to attend the old man. We cannot help wondering where the old man’s grown up children are. It is they not the dog who should take good care of their old father.

The implied meaning of the picture is really provoking. It is quite true that in our society there are some grown-up children who treat their old parents badly. When their old parents are too old to take care of themselves, they often view them as a “burden” of their family life. They refuse either to support their aging parents financially or to look after them. No doubt, this immoral behavior of these grown-up children’s should be subject to social condemnation.

To respect the old has long been a traditional virtue of the Chinese people. We should always bear in mind that we are much indebted to our parents in that they not only gave us life but have done much to bringing us up. It is against conscience to escape from the responsibility to take care of our parents. Rather, we should pay back for the love and care of our parents by making their later years happy and enjoyable.

pride and prejudice is a chefdoeuvre.

my first impression of this story was from screen.

its long long ago, maybe before i can read english books. i dont remember which movie edition i had seen. but i was impressed by the music, the scenery and the costume. i was very favor of a section of music in its balls. its pretty brisk, liked a wonderful song of a bird. regarding to the characters, i liked elizabeth, the heroine,though i didnt think shes beautiful. but shes smart. however, i didnt pay much attention to the plot. i thought its so long that it made me impatient and bored. by now, i havent read the whole story in english or its chinese version, either. i owe it to my prejudice.

You can destroy him but you can’t beat him. Whatever he faced to he would never yield to the difficult which shows a strong spirit.

In our lives I think we should learn something from the old man which will make us have a more valuable life. Whenever and wherever we meet trouble we should never give up and try our best to overcome it. We should always keep on our dream and make it come true. Every one has his backbone which can’t be bended by anyone which is very important for everyone in his whole life. If we meet difficulty in our life we should face it bravely and work out some way to solve the problem whatever would happen at last. We can be destroyed but we can’t be beat by anything or anyone. If you failed for many times in your life you wouldn’t surrender because if you try to do it you may succeed in your life but if you do not do it you would not be succeed forever. Everyone has his advantages and disadvantages in his life but we should face to our disadvantages and we must be confident which would also make us be confident of our life. We should have faith in what we do in our life we will have a more beautiful life in the future and our dream will come true. We should pay more attention to what we do during our life rather than what we will get at the end because I think it is more important than any thing you get finally. If you enjoy you life not something you get you will have a meaningful life and a noble spirit. It will hurt you when you pay more attention to what you get in the future. It will also make you do something wrong which is bad for other people our society and our country.

I’m impressed by the sentence which is “We can be destroyed but we can’t be beat.” I think everyone should do it no matter what happen in our life. This book makes me know something I didn’t know in the past. The book and the old man have a great influence in my life. I love this book.

大家一定记得，有一道国民考题曾风靡一时，热议不断：老人摔倒了，是扶还是不扶？

答案有多种。一种回答很干脆，——“不扶”！害人之心不可有，防人之心不可无。因扶而惹上官司、赔上金钱，犯不着！

一种回答很纠结。——“等等看”！人命关天。不扶伤良心，扶了有风险。待别人来扶，由别人担责，岂不两全其美？

另一种回答很谨慎。——“先拍照再扶”！了解当时情况，做好现场证据，再扶。

我无意评判这个答案的对与错，也不会依此来衡量人品的高与低。我在想，老人摔倒在地要扶一把，这样简单的事都不能理直气壮地去做。这样的社会风气到底怎么啦？

是世风日下的薄情？还是人心叵测的陷阱？还是事不关己的冷漠？无疑：连一个老人都扶不起的社会，是一个没有道德底线，也不可能有精神高度的社会。这样的社会，还会企望它有善和美吗？还会奢求它有情和义吗？关键是，我们的社会是否真的就良知泯灭、集体沉沦了呢？

2014年的小品《扶不扶》将这个公共话题搬上了春晚舞台。“人倒了还可以扶起来，人心倒了就扶不起来了！”此语一出，即赢得亿万观众的声声喝彩和阵阵掌声！

在这如潮似雷的喝彩和掌声中，我感受到了巨大的道德支撑，也体会到了潜力无限的正能量。

是的，我们不能因个别案例的影响而心灰意冷，也不能低估社情民意而丧失美德自信，更不能各打各的小算盘而麻木不仁。“人人为我，我为人人”，“凡人善举，好人好报”道德信念的缔结，需要我们每一个人来倡导，来传播，来参与！人民有信仰，社会才会有力量！

在邵东，在我们周围，经常活跃着践行帮扶美德、传播正能量的“凡人”，道德模范、火厂坪镇村民何汉智，见义勇为，于危难中显身手，火中救人；身边好人、灵官殿镇村官刘长庚，助人为乐，几十年如一日，捐资公益……哪里有困难，哪里就会出现他们的身影；哪里有愁苦，哪里就会留下他们的足迹。他们给孤寡者以欢笑，给弱小者以力量，给病患者以希望。他们的身影成为一道道流动的风景！

善举如潮，爱心似海。去年六一儿童节，在百富广场举办的“心得乐”活动，社会各界人士纷至沓来，慷慨解囊，帮扶100名特困学生。我攥着省下来的压岁钱和零花钱，满头大汗地挤进了水泄不通的人流，在感受到人们浓浓爱意的同时，也捐献了自己的爱心。短短的几个小时，现场就捐得308万元。这是爱的奉献，这是情的迸发，这是正能量的喷涌！

老人圣地亚哥是一位老渔民，老人与海就讲述了他在连续八十四天都没有捕到一条鱼的情况下，终于独自一人钓上了一条大马林鱼，但这条鱼庞大的像一座山丘，所以将老渔民圣地亚哥的小渔船整整拖了几天几夜叉筋疲力尽，被老人杀死绑在了小船的一头。老人返航的时候却遇到了鲨鱼，他应用的抵抗鲨鱼的攻击。可最后回到港湾的时候，大鱼只剩下鱼头、鱼尾和一条脊骨。

这篇小说描写了老人在中亚紫霞仍保持着优雅的风度。作者这样写突出了老人威严冷静的性格特点，就像我们小学五年级的一篇课文《桥》中的老支书一样。面对鲨鱼的攻击，老人并没有吓呆了，而是沉着的应对鲨鱼疯狂的攻击才保住了自己的性命。如果老人并没有沉着的应对鲨鱼的攻击，那老人将会一无所有（宝货老人的生命）这篇小说主要告诉我名字一个人应用有的最宝贵的精神—人可以被毁灭，却不可以被打败。圣地亚哥也因此而成为了文学史上最着名的“硬汉”之一

Today, I read a famous American writer Ernest Hemingways novel "the old man and the sea", the book left a deep impression on me, I very admire book old fishermans will, he let me know how a person must have unremitting spirit, could succeed.

On the description of the old man and the sea is a nearly sixty years old fisherman, in a single sea, caught a big fish, but do not go up. 当我读到爷爷与鲨鱼进行激烈的搏斗时，我真为爷爷担心，可是爷爷，总是保持着乐观的精神去面对一些极大的困难，看到这里，我不由得想起自己。每当我遇到了一些困难时，总是觉得很不顺心，觉得很烦，很想逃避现实。再看看桑提阿果爷爷，不管遇到任何困难也毫不退缩，而是勇敢地去面对!

做人也应该这样，不要一幅贪生怕死的样子，要对自己有信心。即使我们遇到重重困难，也绝不应该让它给打倒，应该勇敢地去消灭它。

我们是祖国的未来，应该像桑提阿果爷爷一样胸怀大志，去追求更好，更大的目标。我相信，在我的努力下，我一定会变得像桑提阿果爷爷那样勇敢，那样勇于拼搏。
