啊!终于开学了!两个月的暑假竟然也这么慢。现在终于可以和以前的朋友、同学相聚了，心里有说不出的高兴!

刚踏进学校的大门，我就被眼前的一切惊呆了。只见一排排蓝瓦白墙的教室，在阳光的照射下显得朝气勃勃;中心路左边的梧桐排着整齐的队伍，投下长长的绿荫，多像一把矩形的遮阳伞啊!每幢教室门前已铺成平平的水泥地板，早已不是以前那样的坑坑洼洼。教室前面的花池里，百花竞艳，都在欢迎我们这些久违的小主人呢!教室里的桌椅都是新的，就连两边墙上挂着《中小学生守则》、《中小学生日常行为规范》也崭新得一尘不染。

这一切的一切，都是我们人类自己造成的。因为汽车的增多排放大量的尾气，工厂随便的排污，森林不断地被采伐，绿地不断的减少，等等，使环境被破坏了，所以才会有了今天这样的雾霾天气。

今年的雾霾天气已经出现了多次，持续时间长，涉及范围广，危害程度重，极大地影响了人的健康，诱发了很多疾病，比如心脏病，肺病，气管炎等等。这种天气给我们一次次敲起了警钟，环境治理刻不容缓!

所以我们要提倡，爱护树木，种植树木，不要焚烧垃圾，随便排放污染物。我们必须要科学发展，尊重大自然，与大自然和谐相处。这样既保护了环境，又保护了我们的生存环境。蓝天、碧水、绿地、新鲜的空气，就能时时在我们身边!

Dear Wang Lin,

It’s really my pleasure to make friends with you. I’m Zhao Gang and I’m 17

years old. I like playing football and reading. I’m good at writing and playing

the piano. But I really want to be a journalist after graduating from

university. To get good marks, firstly, think listening carefully in class is

most important. Then we should ask the teacher questions we have in time.

今天是4月28日，想想看那艰苦的军训五天，从4月23日——4月27日，回味无穷啊!

星期一，我们全班同学和老师、谢教官，一起作者去西丽军训基地的大巴。我原本以为这是第一次的军训很轻松、教官很温柔的，但我真的小看这次的军训了。

过了不久，我们便到了西丽军训基地。首先，谢教官带让我们了解宿舍区域，让我们知道了洗手间和浴室在哪里，还告诉我们注意安全和该怎么冲凉。其次，谢教官又带我们到女生宿舍，教我们叠被子、铺平床单，告诉我们床上的东西该放那里，不该放哪里。

在其他时间，谢教官还叫我们了许多事情和知识：交通指挥操、站军姿、《学习雷锋好榜样》(一首歌)、强化武术操旭日东升……但有时还会受罚：双手后背蹲起、举水瓶、罚站，就在这之中，我们都发现了谢教官的口头禅——“你们完蛋了!”。

每天训练习惯了，我自然就发现了我们的军训时间表。早上6:20起床，6:28在女生宿舍门口集合，7:30左右吃早餐，吃完训练，中午11:00多吃午餐，吃完训练，18:00左右吃晚餐，吃完训练，最后睡觉。

说道吃饭，我非常想谈谈。早餐每天都不变：一盘馒头、每人一个鸡蛋、一大碗白稀粥、一小碗辣菜，我不太喜欢。午餐就好吃了，每天变花样，可好吃了，三菜一汤。其中有一次午餐做了西红柿炒鸡蛋，我们组拼命地抢饭抢菜，数一数西红柿炒鸡蛋一共打了四次!大家天天抢菜抢饭吃，吃得慢的同学速度都提上来了，我们每天都期待着吃饭。晚餐和中餐吃的差不多，也很好吃，我要给那里的饭菜给个大拇指!

从星期二到星期四都有一些活动，星期二看电影，星期三烧烤，星期四联欢晚会，大家非常开心。在这之中，我最喜欢烧烤和联欢晚会了。烧烤的时候，谢教官给我们一人两个香肠、一个鸡翅、一个馒头，叫我们来烤。我信心满满地把鸡翅放在烤炉的上方，等待我的鸡翅“出炉”，但是过了一会儿没想到的是，烤糊了一点儿，但是我还是美美地吃着我的“战利品”。接下来，我开始说联欢晚会了。每个班都有两个节目，我们班表演的分别是《小红帽》和街舞。每一个节目都很精彩，所有在座的同学们都给予了热烈的掌声。

我有很大的体会，这里和家不一样，这里是考验你的地方。它让我学会了自立、把娇生惯养的毛病丢掉、体会到了我们是一个集体……这一次的军训中，我所学到的、体会到的，永远铭刻在我心中!

A library is a building for a collection or books, magazines, periodicals

and newspapers. The books are kept on the shelves in the stack room whereas the

magazines, journals, etc. in the reading rooms. Modern libraries also have xerox

rooms, and computer rooms.

If you want to borrow books, you can go to the loan desk, look over the

correct call numbers in the card catalog and ask the librarian to take then, out

for you. Or youre allowed to enter the stack room to rind books for yourself,

you can look up the bound volume or index for the articles relative to the

subject, on which you are going to write thesis. If the library doesnt

subscribe to the magazine which carries the article you want, you can borrow the

magazine from other libraries by means of interlibrary loan service.

Dont forget to show your library card or I.D. card to the librarian before

you go into the reading room, where you can read magazines or newspapers. If you

find a good article and want to keep it, you can have it duplicated in the xerox

room. Besides, if you want to watch films or slides, you can ask the

projectionist to play the videotape for you in the audio visual room, where you

can also listen to language tapes and music tapes.
