这几天，全国各大新闻媒体都在关注一个地方——云南砚山县。因为那里350公里沿途已经半年没有下过一场透雨。我从电视画面上看到，那里的农田已经干枯龟裂，树木大面积枯死，连人们正常的饮用水也快“弹尽粮绝”了。一场百年不遇的大旱情，正在威胁着那里所有的生命。井水干了，池塘里的水也见底了，试想现在那里一个人每天只能用4两水，那是一个怎样的情形？没有到那里去体验一下，你真的也许无法想象。大家都知道水是构成人体的重要成分，约占成人体重的60-70%。血液中含水量达90%以上，因此大量丢失水分，会导致死亡。

我们焦急，我们担忧，灾情看似一夜间到来，但追根朔源，我们应该清醒地认识到那是人类自身多少错误行为和疏忽所种下的“恶果”啊！

目前水资源短缺和污染的问题相当突出，一些地方，因为人类不保护水资源，造成水土流失，土地沙化，沙尘暴等仍在加剧，更严重的是水土流失使土壤的肥力显著下降，造成农作物大量减产，越是减产，就越要多开垦荒地，越开垦荒地，水土流失就越严重，严重的影响了生态平衡，这种恶性循环的结果带来的只能是人类自身的毁灭。环境是人类生存的基础，越来越多的事实证明环境的恶化为给人类的生活带来严重的灾难。地震、海啸、森林火灾的频发已经给地球人敲响了警钟！

我们要以自己的实际行动保护环境，最简单易行的，应该从节电、节水做起。比如说用脸盆接水洗脸，洗完后用来冲洗便池和拖地等等，洗澡擦香皂的时候，要及时关水龙头，喝水也要有量的概念，不能喝一口，倒掉一大杯。在家要多用节能灯，要养成随手关灯的好习惯。还有就是要倡导绿色出行，多走路，少坐车。环境的污染和破坏，治理起来得费很大力气。我们青少年是未来的主人，一定要保护环境。只要大家都能为保护环境做一些有益的事，相信我们明天的环境会更美好。

记的我以前看过这样一个电影：在中国一个十分缺水的山区里，打水都要从几十里以外的地方打，一下雨大家就把家里所有的容器全搬出来盛雨水，而我们却还在浪费水资源、破坏水资源，难道这不是等于在犯罪吗?我曾做过一次试验，如果正常洗一次手只需要约0.5千克的水，而如果用浪费水的方法洗一次手就要用约2.5千克水，大约是正常洗手的5倍!

面对水的挑战，我们必须清醒地认识到：水资源是有限的，世界上没有任何东西可以代替水!历史上，有多少地方，由于水源的枯竭，绿洲变成沙漠，城市变成废墟。例如：塔克拉玛干大沙漠中的楼兰古城废墟、毛乌素沙漠中的统万城废墟就是见证。一个曾是古丝绸之路上的繁华商城，一个曾是显赫一时的夏国都城，由于没有了水，现在都淹没在流沙之中。一个地方没有了水，人们可以迁住他乡，可是如果地球上所有干净的水都被弄脏耗尽，人们又该迁向何方?

现在，我们必须面对事实，尤其像我们这样一个世界13个贫水国之一国家，人均水资源即少，再加上污染严重，使我们赖以生存得水资源不断恶化!但是，更多的水，使人们浪费、破坏的。我曾看过一份十分让我吃惊的资料：生产同样多的粮食，我国要比美国多用一倍的水;我国万元产值的耗水量超过发达国家的一倍多!

我深信，只要我们珍惜、爱护水资源。把谁管好用好，一不滥用、不浪费而不污染水质，好好调配使用，再加上一些科学技术，不断广开水源，我们的子孙后代就不必再为缺水而发愁，世界的明天一定会更美好!

我是一名小学生。我从小就在这座美丽的城市生活。的确，我们安阳市的土地上拔起了一座座高楼大厦，殷墟也申报成功世界文化遗产了。我不得不惊叹安阳的日新月异的变化，却又不能不向您，向大众提出水资源遭到严重的浪费甚至已近枯竭的问题。

面对我们日日不可或缺的生命之源一-水，我们知道的到底有多少?中国的水资源虽然比较丰富，但分布不均，东多西少，南多北少，缺水的地方很多。而在不缺水的地方，人们浪费水、污染水的现象又太严重。

水，是我们生命的最基本保障!也许它在我们心中似乎是取之不尽，用之不竭的。可是千千万万的人却还在为一口水发愁。我国虽然水资源丰富，居世界第四位，但是平均起来就少之又少了，只有世界平均水平的四分之一!位于世界第121位，是世界13个人均水资源最贫乏的国家之一。而中国的水价却又十分便宜，是水资源浪费十分严重。工厂建起来了，可水却遭到污染，不能用的水就成了废水!污染从另一个角度来说更是一种浪费。我们安阳以前造了许多条水渠，可由于发展速度过快，都成了臭水沟。公共水龙头经常“绵绵不断”，却没人管理。

我认为您要号召大众，至少要做到以下几点：

1、淘米水洗菜，，再用清水清洗，不仅节约了水，还有效地清除了蔬菜上的残存农药;一盆一盆地洗，不要开着水龙头冲，一餐饭可节省50千克;

2、夏天给室内外地面洒水降温，尽量不用清水，而用洗衣之后的洗衣水;

3、冲厕所：如果您使用节水型设备，将卫生间里水箱的浮球向下调整2厘米，每次冲洗可节省水近3千克;按家庭每天使用四次算，每次可节水4一5千克。
