现在有许多浪费水资源的现象，如果不加节制的话将会造成不堪设想的后果。
水对我们人类来说非常重要，可有些人会说：“我们每人每天用那么多水，水资源都没有枯竭，为什么还要节约呢?”北京，在人们看来是一个繁华的城市，但它也有另一面。它是一个严重缺水的城市，虽然它缺水，但还是有很多人在浪费水资源。假如我们再浪费水，我们想想看没了水，土地伯伯将会张开干裂的“嘴巴”;没有了水，植物们将会枯黄而死;没有了水就没有动植物，没有了动植物人类也必将遭到死亡的威胁。所以水与人是密不可分的。
水资源不仅遭到浪费，还遭到了污染。我们干净的河流和可爱的母亲河原本是美丽的。可自从来了一群横蛮霸道的工人后我们就再也见不到母亲河原来的美丽面孔了。工厂排出的脏水严重污染了水资源。这水臭得连小花小草都不敢抬起头来;臭得连坚强的大树也弯下了腰;臭得连人们都不敢望我们的母亲一眼。
虽然我们是小学生，但我们生活在地球上也有权利保护我们的家园!我们有责任和义务保护地球的环境，因此我想给社区居民们提些建议，希望你们能够采纳：
1、淘米水可以用来浇花草。
2、洗菜不用流动的水洗。
3、洗衣服后的水夏天可以给室内外的地面降温。

今天我在网上看见一幅漫画，使我感到保护环境十分重要。图上画有：远处是高楼，近处是一条小河，小河的水被污染了，但工厂还在大量的排放废水，鱼儿死亡很多，幸而存活的鱼越来越少。当活着的鱼看到一位渔夫驾着的船里有清水时，急忙向船上跳，不管渔夫会不会杀它们。”
我看后想，小河以前肯定清澈见底，鱼虾成群，人们常到这里玩耍，小鸟也爱来这里做客。鱼儿十分快乐。自从建立了这些工厂，小河和鱼虾就糟秧了，以前喝清澈的河水，现在喝工厂里排放的臭水，比如化肥厂向河里排放臭水，煤厂向河里排放黑水，纺织厂向河里排放污颜六色的水。鱼虾能不大量死亡吗?如果我在现场，我一定会立及制止，让他们把废水从滤水池里过滤后在排到河中。如果人人保护环境，保护水资源，鱼就不会往捕鱼人船上跳，鱼虾就不会大量死亡。

Some groups raise money to let people know about the problem. And they try to get the governments to pass laws protecting animals in danger. Quite a few countries have passed laws. One of the difficulities to an international resolution to environmental issues is the difference in individual nations view and policies toward environmental protection。 In order for international cooperation to occur and succeed， the nations of the world must submit themselved to international standards and supervision by an international mission elected by the participating nations of the world。 All members must agree to abide by the standards established。
The environmental issues facing each country are not unrelated to the well being of the rest of the world。 The impact is long term and international in scope。 Without international cooperation and agreement to address such environmental issues as glacial melting at the South Pole， depletion of the ozone layer， water pollution， air polution， etc。， the environmental conditions of the world will deteriorate to the detriment of every nation， not just those that ignore or lack the resources and technology to resolve their individual environmental problems。
As part of the same planet， it is the responsibility of each individual and nation to protect the global environment。 Only international cooperation will provide the timely solutions and the effectiveness needed to stop the deteriorating global environment。
