pressure, is what we should desire. On the other hand, others argue that

pressure is not as bad as is often thought. In fact a certain amount of pressure

is essential to provide motivation and meaning to our life. It is pressure that

propels our progress and contributes to our success.

Personally, Im in favor of the latter idea. I believe that a little

pressure is certainly an important incentive in life. It is only when the

pressure gets out of control can it lead to poor performance and bad health.

Since it is impossible to avoid pressure, certainly there is no sense trying to

do so or complaining about it.

今天就是英语外研比赛的日子了，我被安排在下午2.30那场，老妈的单位离考场比较近，上午我便跟她去单位值班。

我在老妈的办公室里，一直都在背稿，时间过得很快，稿纸在我的手中不停地抖动，说好的不紧张呢?

简单吃了点饭，老妈看我这副状态，她提议说，咱们提前溜达着去吧，就当散散步。

午后的街道有些冷清，看到不错的景致，老妈竟不忘给我拍张照片啥的，她可真有兴致。不觉中就来到了“宝睿国际未来小学”门口，我们是下午考生中来得最早的。

等了好久一些家长才陪着孩子到来，有接待老师把我们安排在家长等候区，并给选手们讲了些注意事项，接着老师又读了考场名单，我被安排在第三考场。

这是初赛，演讲的内容是自我介绍加才艺表演。我看到有的选手准备得真棒!不光自己化了淡妆，还梳了很复杂很漂亮的辫子，有的还穿了美丽的裙子。有不少同学手里拿了画板，上面是他们精心绘制的图画，他们边指着自己的画边小声念着英语，看来他们的才艺表演一定是用英语介绍自己的画了。而我的才艺显得多么的微不足道，我只打算读一首英文小诗。

上午考完的同学在群里发来信息，他们说很简单，评委主要看你的口语能力，觉得背不好的，也可以直接读，我终于有了一些安心。

马上就轮到我了，听到老师念我名字，稿子在我手中抖的更厉害了。原来考场里只有三位评委老师，但其中有一位外国人。我的心开始咚咚跳个不停，手心也开始冒汗。我刚说一句“Hello everyone.”，三位评委老师便微笑着向我点头示意。他们这一微笑，我反而不自在的很，我僵硬的站在他们面前，机械地象在用英文诵经一般，我甚至听到自己的声音就象一只大苍蝇在我周围嗡嗡着飞，它飞飞停停，停停飞飞，可恶极了。我发现三位评委老师都在低着头，记录着什么，也不知他们听清了这“嗡嗡”声没有。自我介绍环节很快就完了，我看没人看我，便拿出稿子，直接读那首“四季”的小诗。依然没人看我，平时读得一点问题都没有，此时竟卡了好几下，自己都觉得糟糕透顶。

三分钟终于结束了，我向三位评委鞠了躬说了“thank you”之后，心情才平静下来。

因为我是最后一场，所以，我来到家长区没多久，就有老师进来，当场宣布进入复赛的同学名单了。老师神采飞扬，声音洪亮，她说：“非常高兴地通知大家，祝贺以下进入复赛的同学，读到名字的同学也请家长一起上台!”

接着老师便念“张三，李四”，没有我的名字!

我沮丧极了，连为大家鼓掌的力气都没有了。

也许从我站到台上的那一刻就被评委老师“秒杀”掉了。老妈反倒安慰我说：“你在这里登过台，已经很棒了。但一定记住，台上一分钟，台下十年功啊。”

是的，通过参加这次比赛，我也找到了自己努力的方向。

路过一家烘焙店，我说：“老妈，给我买点吃的吧，我要化悲痛为力量!”

Today is the Dragon Boat Festival in the 5th day of the fifth month of the Chinese lunar calendar. Every year, aunt will pack lots of delicious food. Sweet sweet jujube dumplings for us, especially my mother and I like it best. You can also eat with your elders and sisters at your grandmothers house, and enjoy the Dragon Boat Festival, but this year, it is not so lively. Uncle and aunt went out to earn money. Uncle went out with his sister. There were only three family members and grandparents. It looks very cold.

Early this morning, I have the mother will give me to eat dumplings package dates, who knows but mother was busy with housework. At noon, dad cooked a good meal and cooked food, called grandpa and grandma to come to dinner, but not a bit of a cheerful atmosphere. In the afternoon, in order not to let the festival have a little meaning, my mother and I went out for a stroll with my grandmother. We went to the market, but did not see the shadow of half of the dumplings, to buy dumplings but no jujube. I was disappointed. My mother comforted me and said, "next time you see the decision to sell the zongzi, you can eat it." Its a little better to hear that. Mom visited the clothing store and took us to the home supermarket, and bought some delicious food on the way. From the supermarket out, we have been fruitful.

Back home, I wanted my uncle and aunt, and my four year old sister, so I went online to chat with them, and the little aunt laughed and told me that a lot of jujube zongzi was given to me at the Dragon Boat Festival next year, so I could eat enough. Though we have not been together for Dragon Boat Festival this year, we can also enjoy seeing them online. Uncle and aunt also have an appointment with me. Next year, Dragon Boat Festival will definitely come back for the holidays.

The chinese new year is now popularly known as the spring festival because it starts from the begining of spring (the first of the twenty-four terms in coodination with the changes of nature). its origin is too old to be traced.

All agree, however, that the word nian, which in modern chinese solely means year, wasoriginally the name of a monster beast that started to prey on people the night before the beginning of a new year.

One legend goes that the beast nian had a very big mouth that would swallow a great many people with one bite. People were very scared.

To nian he said, i hear say that you are very capable, but can you swallow the other beasts of prey on earth instead of people who are by no means of your worthy opponents? so, it didswallow many of the beasts of prey on earth that also harrassed people and their domestic animals from time to time.

今天一大早，我就风风火火的赶到少年宫。这是为什么呢？因为我今天要参加英语剧表演。

刚进会场，哈，我们已经迟了里面早已热闹非凡。第一个上场的表演的节目是狮子觅食。一个同学头戴狮子面具威风凛凛的出场了。只见他伸伸懒腰说道：“I  am   hungry，What’s  for  dinner 。”说完就出去觅食了。这时一只小兔子拿着一个红萝卜蹦蹦跳跳的走了过来，狮子一见就上前去威严地说：“把食物给我吃吧。”小兔子一看是狮子，连忙把手中的红萝卜送给了狮子，狮子吃了一口觉得不好吃，发了狮威恶狠狠的把红萝卜砸向小兔子还大声的骂着，小兔子吓得飞快的逃跑了。他们精彩的表演赢得了一片掌声。狮子表演者熟练的英语对话、惟妙惟肖的动作，仿佛把我们带进了一个动物园。

接下来的节目是皇帝的新装、狼来了和拔萝卜，各班的表演都很精彩，让我觉得心里不踏实起来，怕自己表演不好。

终于轮到我们上场了，我的心怦怦直跳怕我们班会输给其他的班级。当音乐一响起来，我们每个人都很快进了状态。我那颗怦怦直跳的心也平静了下来。大家各自表演者自己的角色，十分认真。突然电脑出问题了，把我们出场的顺序都打乱了，弄得我们几个团团转转都不知道怎么去表演了。这是老师在后面打着手势让我们跟着幻灯片来表演，我们手忙脚乱的的样子把评委都逗笑了。最后我们的成绩只有76.365分。

虽然这次我们没有取得好的成绩，但是我们却收获了快乐。

Yesterday, we had a discussion. the topic is. What is my dreamEvery one has his dream. Some want to be teachers,others want to be scientists. My dream is to become a doctor.

My friends asked me why. I told them my story. When I was a small boy I was very weak. Once I was terribly iii. I had a high fever. My parents sent me to the hospital but the doctors could do nothing for me. then my parents heard there was a very good doctor in another town. they took me there. I was saved.

A good doctor can save peoples lives. From then on I decided to become a doctor. I know it is not easy to be a doctor.But I am determined to study hard. I am sure my dream will come true.

In the morning of yesterday ,I got up a little earlily.After my breakferst ,I began to stduyed until the moon . I played soccer and computer to rest.In the final of the day ,I spent 30 mins on watching TV berfore finishing my homework.
