第一只老鼠最先吊下去喝油,它想:“油就这么多,大家轮流喝一点儿也不过瘾,今天算我运气好,干脆自己跳下去喝个饱。”夹在中间的老鼠想:“下面的油没多少,万一让第一只老鼠喝光了,那我怎么办?我看还是把它放了,自己跳下去喝个痛快!”第三只老鼠也暗自嘀咕:“油那么少,等它们两个吃饱喝足,哪里还有我的份儿?倒不如趁这个时候把它们放了,自己跳到缸底饱喝一顿。”
