开幕式结束了，最激动人心的比赛终于开始了，首先进行的是女子100米跑，只听发令枪砰的一响，运动员们便如离弦的箭一样向终点冲刺，全场为之沸腾，我们在看台上大喊，“加油！”“加油！”，为我们的运动员助威，我们的运动员取得了第二名的好成绩，当她胜利归来时，身后仿佛有胜利的霞光照耀着她，步伐坚定铿锵，笑容可以驱散春日早晨的微寒。

我把米放在叶子里，可米全撒在了桌上，我生气极了。姐姐对我说：“你要把叶子做成一个三角形的样子，然后再把米放进去啊!”

于是，我按照姐姐说的步骤作了一遍，在米上按了按，咦?旁边那个盘子中间放的是什么?原来是肉馅哦!我在糯米中间挖了一个小洞洞，把肉馅弄成圆状，塞入糯米中，让它也加入糯米的行列中。可怎么封好呢?我看了眼姐姐，就明白了一切。

我把翘起来的一片叶子按下来，并用绳子用力的扎紧。成功啦!我按照前面的方法，包了好多个。现在就要下锅了，先是把水烧开，然后把粽子放下去。

过了一会儿，粽子煮好了。大家四人坐在桌子旁，吃起了粽子。

我把绳子解开，正想把叶子摘掉，可我一碰，就被烫着了。姐姐看了，哈哈的笑了起来。我吹着吹着，把让热气吹走了。我再次小心翼翼的将叶子掀开，吃起了自己亲手做的香喷喷的粽子来——白白胖胖的糯米中间，包着一团鲜汁可口的肉馅，放入口中，不油不腻，又有嚼劲，感觉太好了!

端午节就这么过去了，嘴里吃着自己亲手包的粽子，心里想着我国唐代诗人杜甫写的诗：宫衣亦有名，端午被恩荣。细葛含风软，香罗叠雪轻。自天题处湿，当暑着来清。意内称长短，终身荷圣情。

这真是一个快乐的端午节!

I had finished trainning in army for 8 days.Though this trainning I can learn a lot of things without schooling.I made many new good friends as well.

I never finished a whole work myself before this trainning. Because of this, I failed the most important exam. which is called Qixi Festival that is also referred to the Chinese Valentine’s

Day. This festival has been the tradition and many young people celebrate it in

their own way. What’s more, the government listed Qixi Festival as the

intangible cultural heritage.

The origin of Qixi Festival is about a romantic story. It was said that in

the ancient time, a beautiful young lady who was an immortal came to the men’s

world. She fell in love with an ordinary man. But there was limitation between

immortal and human being, so they were separated by the lady’s parents. Their

love story moved a lot of people and the girl’s parents decided to let this

couple meet on July 7th every year.

Today, When Qixi Festival comes, the single ladies and men will try to ask

十点一到，便出发了，一开始就是仰卧起做，小伙伴们都惊呆了，我可是努力的去做，可是82，倒过来，28，嘿嘿。

后来是跳绳，我有一丝紧张，因为我的跳绳很差，不过也好，100多，我心满意足。

下午，要跑步，当然是我最差的，快到我了，我有一点紧张，开始跑时，大家像箭飞驰，只有我像龟速前进，不过，金嘉杰那可是蜗牛速度前进，但是，一样我拿了第一，嘿嘿，当然是倒数第一。因为有王柯，王柯是跑步第一。

最后一个，是卧体前屈，嘿嘿，我在行，我立刻看看王柯，她十分厉害，每一项科目都是A，我打心底佩服她，我的成绩是19.3，好吧。

今天，我很满足。

九月二十九日是我们北塘小学举行运动会的日子。我参加了短跑六十米的比赛。这是我第一次参加比赛，心情又紧张又激动。比赛开始了，只听枪声一响，我们就飞快的往前跑。每个人心里都想拿第一。这是我们班的拉拉队喊了起来：“加油，加油！”随着这节奏声我们争先恐后的往前跑为我们班争气。最后我拿到了第一名。场下响起一片掌声！

又参加运动会，这次我真的很高兴。前一天晚上我激动的都有点睡不着。并且担心第二天会下雨。当叶老师（我班配班老师）吧号码牌挂在我身上时我兴奋地巴不得马上就跳绳。裁判员喊到2111号，我立刻做好准备拼命地跳。可是中间停了一下，只跳了一百六十二下。幸运的是我的成绩还不错，得到第一名。

齐可凡参加跑步决赛的时候，我还拿着气球为她加油呢！虽然她的成绩不太理想可她在赛场上拼搏的精神值得我们学习。

我希望下次的运动会我还能为班级争光！

今天，学校举行了一年一度的秋季运动会，同学们都积极参加了，我也参加了六十米短跑。

连续下了好几天的雨，还好早上起来没有下雨，我可高兴了。我早早的来到学校准备参加六十米短跑。我现在的心情很紧张。首先参加了六十米预赛，我和别的小朋友一同站在起跑线上，我集中精神听枪的声音。枪声一响我像箭一样飞奔了过去。我听到了我们班的小朋友为我加油助威的声音。我以最快的速度冲过了终点。天哪！我竟然是第一名。我可高兴了，我们班的小朋友都欢呼起来！我以小组第一的成绩进入了决赛。下午我站在决赛的起跑线上。我一定要用自己最大的努力争取获得好成绩最后我得了第四名。这是我第一次参加比赛。我要刻苦练习，争取下次能取得好成绩！我们班的小朋友还参加了别的项目的比赛，都取得了不错的成绩。这次运动会不但锻炼了我们也让同学之间更团结了！

这真是一次有意义的活动！

2010年9月28日——9月29日是北塘小学秋季运动会。这次运动会我们主要的比赛有：跑步，跳绳，跳远。当比赛即将开始的时候，赛场上就已经人山人海了。我看了跑步比赛，只见体育老师一声枪响，小运动员们飞快的冲出起跑线，赛道两旁“加油”声震耳欲聋。不一会他们就冲过了终点。我们班的齐可凡排名第四，我为她取得这样的成绩而高兴。我们班的跳绳显然就精彩多了！参加跳绳比赛的郑扬琢双手抡起的绳子就像飞转的车轮。

她很厉害一分钟跳了162个。总决赛也名列前茅！谌媛也不错一分钟跳了157下。是我们班跳绳的好手之一。跳远项目也热闹极了！

盼望已久的运动会结束了，我想我们班应该总结一下，好好努力，力争明年运动会上在取得好成绩！

在教室同学家长给我们拍了很多照片，老师也在鼓励我们班的运动员。来到操场上，同学们举起加油牌，为我们班的参赛运动员加油。正在进行的是短跑比赛，枪一响，

早在几天前，街道上就摆满了粽子，到处飘散着粽子的清香。今天终于可以吃到妈妈做的香喷喷的粽子了。因为端午节到来了。

Mrs. Easterbrook was a member of the Board of Trustees of the Monterey Institute and founder of the Stilwell Scholarship, which is dedicated to supporting students from China.

For many years until she passed away, Nancy had served as a goodwill ambassador of the American people who made unremitting efforts to promote exchanges between the United States and China. The Stilwell Scholarship she founded helps support deserving students from China who have come to the Monterey Institute to pursue professional degrees in translation and interpretation, international policy studies, language teaching and business management.

一大早，老天爷他偏偏下起了毛毛细雨，学校为了我们的安全，老师就先让我们在教室里活动。首先是值日班长来领读卡片，等到铃声响了，我们全班同学还在读卡片，不久陈老师就来了。

陈老师拿出可口的水果冻，长鼻王，要求同学们按第1组到第四组排队，进行猜谜语、背古诗的活动，答对了就有1瓶水果冻和二根长鼻王奖赏，老师说得到的奖品要带回家给家长吃，我背了古诗也得到了这些奖品。看着雨一直地下，陈老师就叫同学把多煤体开起来，让大家一起看喜洋洋与灰太狼牛气冲天的童话片，正当大家津津有味看着入谜，天气慢慢地变好，陈老师就带我们去校园看看春天的景色。

我们整整齐齐地排好队，跟着陈老师去操场边看边走，我们看见了红红火火的桃花;碧绿的小草;还有一些不知名的小花看上去是紫色的。

接着还去大队部后面看了正在长高的小树，同时又去地理园参观：参观了地球仪，火山爆发的情景，让我们学到很多的地理知识。

虽然我们今天去不了马鞍山公园春游，但我们也已经是够开心了。让我知道了原来春天的景色是无处不在，只要我们用心地去观察，美丽的春天就会向我们招手。

The Olympic games are held every four years. The winter Olympics are usually held two years before the summerOlympics. The old Olympic games began around the year 776 B.C. in Greece. After about the year 393 A.D., the Olympic games stopped. The first Olympic games in modern times took place in 1896. 311 competitors took part in the games. In 1992, more than 8000 competitors from over 150 different counties went to Barcelona for the 25th Olympics. There were 250 different sports in the games. In Barcelona, the Chinese team got 16 golden metals of which 12 were won by women.

哨声一响，同学们使出浑身力气，手上青筋突出，脸涨得通红，头上也渗出密密的汗珠。但他们仍不放松，代表输赢的红带子再慢慢向我们移动。拉拉不住的加油，老师们也为我们助威。我想，这下我们胜券在握了。

不料情况发生逆转，七一班的同学们瞪大着眼睛，头发都竖起来了，汗毛直立手捏得通红。一瞬间，就像西班牙斗牛士的把绳子猛一拉，又是一声清嘴的哨声，七一班赢得胜利，而我们几乎是全军覆没。

可大家并不灰心丧气，友谊最重要，比赛输了友谊还在。没错，我们虽败犹荣，输也光彩!

According to a recent article on Newsweek concerning children’s’ education,

there is an increasing number of parents worrying their kids to an extreme

extent, depriving them of independence and freedom by keeping them around

parents all the time.

Some people applaud this phenomenon, suggesting that kids’ safety is the

most important. Thus, they’d better not enter the hazardous society without

supervision unless they become adults. From my point of view, some of their

opinion is correct but keeping children away from independence is a completely

erroneous decision. The reasons are as follows:

First and foremost, “locking kids” may hinder their healthy growth, both

mentally and physically. The kids who are locked may have heavy reliance on

their parents, as their comprehensive skills such as communication skills or

cooperative spirit being prevented from developing.

Secondly, what these parents fail to see is the fact that the crime rate

and accidents aren’t on a rapid rise. It is the abuse of mass media that make

crimes and violence more scary. The parents, who love their kids so much, are

completely forced to live under the illusion that our society is full of riots

or threats of accidents. Thus, kids can be allowed to have more freedom such as

walking to school by himself, for instance.

From what has been discussed above, we may safely draw a conclusion that

kids should be given more freedom by parents’ effort. At the same time, parents

should take many factors into consideration such as the time restriction for

children and the evaluation to kids’ maturity and capability. Only then can they

enjoy a safe and meaningful childhood.

A Present For Mother’s Birthday.

Everyone should give his mother a present when his mother’s birthday is

coming. It is 25th May Sunday. Today is Han Mei’s mother’s birthday. So she

wanted to give her mother a special present. What present should she give? Maybe

a bunch of flowers a birthday card are the best presents. A card is cheaper. But

it is bad for trees. The more I buy cards, the more trees will be cut by people.

Dear Mr. Wang,

Thank you for a rapid response to our invitation. Enclosed you will find an outline of events to take place during International Week here at the University of Montana. I will also list a number of possible speaking engagements so that you can choose those things in which you are most interested. As far as topics are concerned, the topics for classroom visits are generally determined by the professor, but most professors are very flexible. We have approximately thirty-five faculty members that teach courses in Asian Studies, ranging from language and culture to history and economics.

Here is a tentative schedule:

Sunday, April 8th

10 am - Cultural Exhibition opens

12 am - International Festival begins with a speech by the university president and an introduction of visiting dignitaries

1-5 pm - Opportunity to visit festival, interact with student performers, taste foods

6 pm - Dinner with Director of Mansfield Center Phil West, Ambassador Mark Johnson, and staff of Mansfield Center

As you can see, there is tremendous interest in China here at the University of Montana. Please let me know if this outline suits your purpose, and if not, please dont hesitate to offer any suggestions for changes. We can arrange as many or as few speaking engagements as you have time for.

时间犹如白驹过隙，转眼间运动会过去了。但许多赛事让我久久难以忘怀。

那是800米的起点，微微紧锁的眉头，向上扬的嘴角，坚毅的眼神。你一定认为他是一个久经沙场的老将，你错了，他只不过是第一次参加运动会，他是祁一超。我并不认为他能取得好成绩，甚至还在心里讥讽他。他很胖，看上去像只企鹅。

枪响了，大家奋力往前跑去，他也毫不逊色。但是，实力悬殊太大了，不久以后祁一超已被他人超越半圈之多。从他经过的地方，都传来了对他一阵又一阵的冷嘲热讽。我也不例外。他听得见。可他并没有放弃比赛，汗从额头渗出，表情变得煞白，但他仍是在众人的嘲笑声下，托着疲惫的身躯跑完了全程。

赛后，我发现祁一超虽受了如此之大的打击，但却为闷闷不乐。

我默默地沉思了片刻：

在人生的道路上，并非一帆风顺，我们应该面对他人的讥讽、嘲笑乐观向上、无惧无畏、永不退缩；而不能如懦夫一般，经受了一些小小的打击便一蹶不振。这一点，我觉得祁一超比许多人做得都好，他的最后一名比第一名的意义更大。此时，我反而觉得自己十分渺小，而他是如此的高大。我敬佩他的勇气。

祁一超，我会永远记住你的！人不可貌相，海水不可斗量，从你身上我真的学到了很多，你并非一个无所处处的后进生。
