同学们会笑话我，要不就放弃吧!担又转念一想，如果就此放弃，太可惜了，还会给班级扯后腿，不行，第三次我一定要加油。坚定信心后，我卯足了劲，在同学们的鼓励下，我紧握双拳，全神贯注的助跑，快跑到沙坑的时候，我使出浑身的力量，纵身一跳，啊，这次的成绩比前两次的都好，同学们都替我高兴，纷纷给我鼓掌。

下一个项目是接力比赛，老师带我们来到起跑线上，给我们讲了比赛规则。我是接力比赛第一组上场的，一声枪响，我们飞快的跑起来，同学们你追我赶，毫不示弱。跑了一半的时候，我已经大汗淋漓，气喘吁吁，两腿发麻，一点力气也没有了。

哦，真不想再跑了，可是听见同学给我的加油声，我觉得我不能放弃，同学们信任我，选我为班级代表来比赛，我一定要拿到好成绩，一定要坚持下来。我使出浑身的力气拼命的跑着，在同学们得呐喊声中，我终于第一个到达了终点。最后，在我们班同学的共同努力下，我们班夺得了第一名。

这次运动会，我们班取得了很好的成绩，但是不能骄傲，平时还要多练练身体，争取明年取得更好地成绩。

It is quite usual that one meets failures, for ones life can never be

plain sailing. However, diffhrent people hold diffhrent attitudes towards

failure. Some people think it a heavy blow to fail in achieving something and

they can not endure failure. When they meet failure, they will be seriously

dejected and can never pluck up their courage to try again. However, others

think it natural to meet failures in ones career. Therefore, they are

psychologically prepared. When they meet failures, they will not be frustrated.

Instead, they will continue to meet new challenges. As to me, Im in favor of

the latter view. Failure is really a terrible thing but it is also the mother of

success. If one draws lessons from failures, in most cases he will get success

in the future. Furthermore, ones life can never be smooth sailing; it must be

full of difficuhies and setbacks. If one is daunted by difficuhies and

frustrations, he will always be a failure. However, if one holds a positive

attitude toward failure, he will overcome difficulties and frustrations to win

victory.

I, the undersigned, am a senior in the Computer Science Department of Tsinghua University. I would like to say a few words to you, which I hope would be helpful to you.

To begin with, the change of ideas is of most importance for freshmen to adapt themselves to campus life. During the middle school days, we usually depend upon our teachers at school and parents at home.

However, the life and study on university campus features independence, which is essential to our psychological development. In my view, we had better always bear in mind the idea of independence.

What’s more, English learning is a must. On one hand, without CET 4 certificate, we can not get our degree when we graduate from university. Im glad youll come to Beijing to learn Chinese. Chinese is very useful, and many foreigners are learning it now. Its difficult for you because its quite different from English. 9月21日，我们期盼已久的校运动会在学校田径场上进行，这次运动会的项目有跳高、跳远、100米赛跑等。因为我在五年级组运动员选拔中出了一点小意外，所以我这“老将”丢了运动员资格，我只好当“啦啦队员”的角色。

大家早早来到学校，跃跃欲试。

比赛开始了，大家各就各位，整个活动井然有序。可是天公不作美，“嘀嗒嘀嗒”偏偏在这时下起了小雨，好像跟我们开玩笑似的，但这丝毫影响不了大家的激情。一会儿，赛场上活跃起来，有的忙碌、有的紧张、有的伸腿弯腰作准备……。“现在进行的项目是100米跑，肖明第一道……”广播里传出喊话声。我的反应比肖明更快，多么希望他能拿下这个冠军，我与肖明合计以后，他作了一个“快离弦的箭”一样的动作。裁判一枪令下，肖明一马当先，我们都为他加油，为他喝彩。虽然他有些体力不支，但他还是咬紧牙关往前冲，功夫不负有心人，他夺得了第二名的好成绩，全班同学都为他高兴。我赶紧迎上前去帮他放松一下大腿，给他补充点体力。

“现在广播跳高的成绩……”广播里传出。

最后，是最具有竞争力的4×100米接力。我们班参加的运动员有周书孟、谭麒、肖明、戴峥，分别是一、二、三、四棒。因为前三棒跑得有点慢，眼看排到了第三位。大家既紧张，又有些失望。此时，只见戴峥接过棒后箭步如飞，一下子就超过了其他几道的运动员，跑到了最前面，而且越跑越快，就像一个“飞人”。大家都为之一振，加油的声音真是“一浪高过一浪”，戴峥在我们的欢呼声中冲过了终点，取得了第一名的好成绩。

运动员出力，“啦啦队员”助威，运动会不仅是个人力量的展示，更是集体力量的体现。现在想想，我国这么多世界冠军的诞生，不仅仅只有冠军的努力，更展现了中国力量的强大。

今天我们学校举行了第七届运动会。

到了学校，沈老师让我领读，正读到一半的时候，广播铃声响了，沈老师让走方阵的同学先出去排队。我们排好了队走进了蓝球场。先等一年级走完，接下来就是我们了，王宇举着二(1)班的牌子

New York is the first city in America. When people come to take a visit of

America, they always choose New York as their destination. New York has many

world-famous tourist attractions and people can find them in the Hollywood

movies. The Statue of Liberty is one of the symbolic building, which represents

America. The statue is a gift to the people of United States from people of

France. The meaning of freedom and friendship are shared by both countries.

Today, the meaning of this statue is admitted by the world and when people see

今天是一年一度的国庆节，是个令人开心的日子。

A Present For Mother’s Birthday.

Everyone should give his mother a present when his mother’s birthday is

coming. It is 25th May Sunday. Today is Han Mei’s mother’s birthday. So she

wanted to give her mother a special present. What present should she give? Maybe

a bunch of flowers a birthday card are the best presents. A card is cheaper. But

it is bad for trees. The more I buy cards, the more trees will be cut by people.

So what another present should she give? Let me tell you this present.

It was five o’clock. It was time to surprise her mother. When Han Mei’s

mother came home, Han Mei said Happy Birthday to her mother. Then she cleaned

her mother’s feet. As you can see, her mother was very surprise.
