I have a backpack. It is large and it is blue. It is a birthday gift from my parents. I love it very much. It is very hard-working, because I keep all my school things in it. It is very heavy. It is with all the time during school days. It is a good friend of mine.

我们学校每年都举行校运会，使我最难忘是上学期的校运会。

记得校运会那天，天高云淡，艳阳高照。我吃过早饭，便兴致勃勃地向学校奔去。来到操场，只见彩旗飘动，人山人海，熙熙攘攘。同学们有的在练习跑步;有的在练习跳绳;还有的在商量着抜河的策略。

开幕式开始，当校长郑重宣布校运会正式开幕，并宣布各年级的比赛项目安排时间后。同学们个个都激动万分，等待着一场场精彩激烈的比赛。

到9：30，我班的`抜河比赛开始了，我们班和一班比赛，所有参赛运动员都目光炯炯、精神抖擞的进入赛区。大家做好预备动作。裁判的哨声一响，两个班的同学都使出浑身力气，助威的同学都在旁边为他们呐喊加油。我也不甘示弱，大声地喊起来。眼看那红色的标旗渐渐地移向我们这边。我的心情十分紧张。

快了，快了，赢了，赢了!啊!我们赢了第一局。我们大家都高兴得跳了起来。但第二局我们输了，我们都很难过，这使第三局更加的紧张。决定胜负的第三局开始了，我的心紧张得快要跳出来。我们班的同学使尽平身的力气拉。眼看红旗渐渐拉向一班那边，我真恨不得过去帮他们拉一把。我们班的运动员个个都脸红脖子粗，青筋暴起，但耗尽了几牛二虎之力，我们还是输了。我们大家回到教室后，都难过得哭了。这时，我们的班长擦干眼泪走上讲台，铿锵有力地对大家说：大家不要伤心，我们这次的失败并不意味下一次也失败，我们要把悲痛化为力量，争取下一次胜利!我们大家都不再难过了，异口同声地高呼我们班的口号为共同的目标而奋斗通过全班同学的努力奋斗，最终我们班取得年级团体总分第一的好成绩。

这次校运会我有了意想不到的收获，它使我懂得了失败并不可怕，要从失败中找到原因，勇敢地站起来，争取下一次的胜利。

I believe everybody has their own hobby. Different people have different

hobbies. For me, my hobby is music. I like music very much. It is magical for

me. It gives me the sense of happiness. It can make me happy when I am sad. I

will listen to music every day. I listen to it on my way home and school, before

fall asleep in bed and eat. Sometimes I will try to sing songs.

The shortage of housing is one of the most serious problems facing many big

cities in China. Though the government has spent a large sum of money on

housing,the investment has not been very resultful and a housing shortage still

exists. Two generations sharing one room and newlymarried couples finding it

difficult to have a house of their own are still common cases. Housing shortage

is a problem that requires an immediate solution.

Peoples attitudes towards the solution to the housing problem are

different. Some suggest building more tall apartment buildings; others believe

that we should develop underground housing areas. I am in favour of the former

opinion. For one thing, it is cheaper to build upward than downward. For

another, living underground for a long time will do harm to peoples health.

Above all,people are unwilling to live underground with artificial lighting and

they prefer to live normally on the ground to enjoy the sunshine.

Although there may be some other ways to solve the housing shortage

problem, I believe to build more apartment buildings is one of the feasible

solutions to the housing problem.

Dear Mr. Wang,

Thank you for a rapid response to our invitation. Enclosed you will find an outline of events to take place during International Week here at the University of Montana. I will also list a number of possible speaking engagements so that you can choose those things in which you are most interested. As far as topics are concerned, the topics for classroom visits are generally determined by the professor, but most professors are very flexible. We have approximately thirty-five faculty members that teach courses in Asian Studies, ranging from language and culture to history and economics.

Here is a tentative schedule:

Sunday, April 8th

10 am - Cultural Exhibition opens

12 am - International Festival begins with a speech by the university president and an introduction of visiting dignitaries

1-5 pm - Opportunity to visit festival, interact with student performers, taste foods

6 pm - Dinner with Director of Mansfield Center Phil West, Ambassador Mark Johnson, and staff of Mansfield Center

As you can see, there is tremendous interest in China here at the University of Montana. Please let me know if this outline suits your purpose, and if not, please dont hesitate to offer any suggestions for changes. We can arrange as many or as few speaking engagements as you have time for.

运动会在这个星期四开幕了!

先是走方块队，我们迈着整齐的步伐，向主席台走去，随着口令声，我们喊起口号：“如鹰翱翔，如风飒爽……”我们协调有序的动作，嘹亮的口号声，使主席台的嘉宾们露出了满意的笑容。

接着北校的学生表演了团体操和动感啦啦舞，我们南校的学生也表演了武术操：音乐一响，大家像离弦的箭一样冲上前去，来到自己的点上，准备做操。开始做操了，我们的动作整齐而有序，在出拳的

时候是那么的有力，呐喊的声音整齐一致。嘉宾们一个劲的叫好，北校也不住的赞扬我们，使我们信心十足，完美得完成了这套操。我看见主席台上所有人都忍不住地鼓掌，我们心里美滋滋的。

在第二天，大家在赛场上拼搏。为班级取得了好成绩。这次运动会真难忘!

在阴沉沉的星期天，我们在凉都宫里搞运动会。

铁人两项之“踩气球”。首先吹气球，吹好后，放在一堆，然后找两三个人把气球绑在运动员的脚踝上，最后就开始踩气球了。看!他们踩得多激烈啊，一个顾着保护气球，像一只在逃荒的老鼠，好像很怕被别人踩爆自己的宝贝气球，另一个顾着踩别人的气球，像一只饿虎在追一只可爱的小白免，好像要把别人的气球尽收囊中。还有一个又顾着踩，又顾着跑，他又要别人不踩自己的气球，又想踩到别人的气球，这不是鱼也要熊掌也要吗?

铁人两项第二项之呼啦圈，“游戏规则：男女同学各分三组，每组人手拉手，手上套一个大呼啦圈，通过一个又一个的障碍，不能把手放开。”老师说完后，我们异口同声的说：“知道了”，大家准备好了，好像信心十足就等老师一声令下了，老师突然说了声开始，把我们都吓了一跳。还没等我们反应过来，第一个同学一下子就把呼啦圈给传了过去，在下一个同学的头上挂着了，这个同学把脚跳出呼啦圈外，手突然向上一抬又突然向下一放，呼啦圈一下子就挂在另一个同学头上，这个同学脚一跳整个身子也出来了，他手也是突然向上一抬，又突然向下一放，呼啦圈又传到下一位同学的身上，就这样呼啦圈一个传一个的`传到了我这，我也学他们跳。我这一跳不要紧，我不但没成功还被呼啦圈绊住了，差点摔了一跤，这时我就想他们都可以为什么我就不行呢?我像他们一样先把身子钻进呼啦圈里，脚再一跳，这回成功的跳出来了，就这样传，传到一百多个我还以为只有几十秒了，可没想到还有1分钟，这时我们加快了传递速度，传到135的时候老师就数倒计时，10，9，8……3，2，1，0，这时我们传了144个，第一名还加“打破记录”，“你们是144个，昨天别人的记录是122个，你们比他们多了22个，”我们听了都高兴疯了。“22个”呀，这可不是一个小数目呀!知道这个消息后，美得我们的组员感觉都“飞上了蓝天。”

这次活动让我觉得很开心，不单单是因为我们得了第一名，又打破了纪录，更重要的是比赛的激烈一直影响着我，让我更加热情饱满的投入到学习中去。

spring is the first season of a year . there are there months in spring : morch , april and may , the weather is warm and windy . it rains a lot . the trees turn green and all the flowers are coming ont . in spring, i can wear my shirts . i often plant trees and go hiking . so i like spring very much . of course , i like the spring festival , too .

令人盼望已久的秋季运动会开幕啦，这可是我盼望了一个多月的呀！听老师说这个星期五开运动会，高兴得我几夜没睡着觉。

那天虽下着蒙蒙小雨，但我们的心里却阳光灿烂。首先军乐队开始演奏，随着军乐队那动人的响声，五星红旗冉冉升起，然后，校长讲话，最后比赛正式开始。

这次我虽然不是运动员，但也派上用场了。葛玉苗做仰卧起坐，我帮她压住脚，当葛玉苗快不行的时候，我帮她加油鼓劲，她终于获得了第四名。

最精彩的还要数拔河了。“预备，开始！”只见我们班个个生龙活虎，勇往直前，胜券在握。第一局胜了！耶——先别顾着高兴，还要交换位置，随着一声开始，最激烈的第二局开始了。你看滕昭宏，只见他把双手握的紧紧的，蹲下屁股，身体向后倾，使劲拽。再看许朔铭，脸蛋涨得红红的，下压绳子，双手好似小钳子，好像有使不完的力气。我们女同学也一改平时文文静静的样子，眼睛瞪得大大的，个个变成了小斗士。在全班同学齐心合力的努力下，终于我们战胜了二班，同学们跳啊，笑啊，尽情地品尝着胜利的果实！

这真是一次难忘的运动会，精彩的运动会！既让我们增强了体质，又让我们学到了以前不会的体育项目。盼望下一次的运动会快点儿到来！
