虽然运动会已经过去了，但是在我的心里还是忘不了。因为在这届运动会上，我荣幸地代表班级参加了跳高、跳远的比赛。

接下来我参加了跳远比赛，有了前面比赛的经验，我看到那么多的“长腿欧巴”，也不再慌张了。助跑，蹬地，腾空，收腿，落沙坑，一气呵成。我抓住每一次机会，跳出了3.21米的成绩，比平时3.45的成绩还少了20多厘米。所以最后只得了第五名，真是有点遗憾。

Moonquakes are to Mid-Autumn Festival what mince pies are to Christmas. There are two legends which claim to explain the tradition of eating moonquakes. One Tang Dynasty myth holds that the Earth once had 10 suns circling it. One day all 10 suns appeared at once，scorching the planet with their heat.

It was thanks to a skillful archer named Hour Yi that the Earth was saved. He shot down all but one of the suns. As his reward，the Heavenly Queen Mother gave Hour Yi the Elixir of Immortality，but she warned him that he must use it wisely.

Hour Yi ignored her advice and，corrupted by fame and fortune，became a tyrannical leader. Chang-Err，his beautiful wife， could no longer stand by and watch him abuse his power so she stole his Elixir and fled to the moon to escape his angry wrath. And thus began the legend of the beautiful woman in the moon，the Moon Fairy.

The second legend has it that during the Yuan Dynasty，an underground group led by Zhu Yuan Zing was determined to rid the country of Mongolian dominance. The moon cake was created to carry a secret message.

When the cake was opened and the message read，an uprising was unleashed which successfully routed the Mongolians. It happened at the time of the full moon，which，some say，explains why moonquakes are eaten at this time.

Moonquakes are usually stamped with Chinese characters indicating the name of the ry and the type of filling used. Some ries will even stamp them with your family name so that you can give personalized ones to friends and family.

They are usually presented in boxes of four which indicate the four phases of the moon. Traditional moonquakes are made with melted lard，but today vegetable oil is more often used in the interests of health.

Moonquakes are not for the diet-conscious as they are loaded with calories. The best way to wash down one of these sticky cakes is with a cup of Chinese tea，especially Jasmine or Chrysanthemum tea，which aids the digestion.

星期五的时候，学校热闹非凡，在操场上，更是人山人海呢，原来我们学校今天要开秋季运动会了呢。

老师先来了一段合不拢嘴的演稿，10点多的时候，我们学校举行了，四十人接力赛，每个人紧绷着神经等待着轮到自己开始跑！ 裁判一说：“准备，预备，跑！”每个人就像被鞭子抽打过的小马一样飞奔出去，个个都生怕会给自己的班级拖后腿，旁边围观的人都为自己的班级呐喊“加油！加油！”轮到我们班级的时候，不知为什么，班级的速度开始渐渐变慢了，最后竟然和隔壁班差一个人了！这个时候，偏偏意外发生了，我们班的一个运动员太着急了，竟然手一滑，把接力棒给弄掉了，“滚啊滚”接力棒滚到旁边草地上了。只见他飞快的捡起棒子，以最快的速度向前冲才总算和五班势均力敌、不分高下。

轮到我了，我飞快的向另一端跑去，但也没超过五班，我有点灰心，到最后一个运动员了，班级里每个人都给他助威，但是他不但没有跑快，还反而跑慢了，原来他是以为后面还有人了啊。其实应该是，不到最后一刻、绝不退缩！

到下午的个人赛了，60米男子组预赛开始了，我们班有两个参加了，可惜他们拼尽全力去跑，可惜就差这么一点点就进入决赛了，到女子组了，我是第一组，我遇上了两个跑的特快的人。比赛开始了，枪对着靶子“砰”的一声我被吓了一跳结果比别人迟跑了一点，还好没事，我之前拉过筋，而且我腿长，我以最快的速度追上去，才凑巧成了这组第三名，最后一名的名字在单子上圈了下，表示被淘汰了，要不是我最后追上去了，要不然也不会刚好成四年级第六名，正好进入了决赛，我高兴坏了！到了决赛的时候，我的心“砰砰砰”的跳着紧张死了！我带着紧张、害怕的新进入比赛场地，加上枪声我更害怕了！快开始了，我腿在发软、精神开始紧绷，准备随时迎接枪声，“砰”的一声枪里的子弹飞了出来，向终点奔去，跑好了，我看见名单上写着我又是第六名，心累极了，我那么辛苦地跑，换来的却是这样的成果！

狗dogs

Nowadays many people like to have dogs as their pets. Dogs are friends of man not only because they are lovely but also because they are faithful to their masters.

Dogs can do a lot of work for man. They play with us. They hunt with us. They keep door for us. But long ago, dogs all over the world were wild.

Dogs can date back to the Stone Age. All dogs have the same ancestor. It is believed that their ancestor was much like a wolf. Other animals, such as the fox, came from this ancestor, too. Hundreds of thousands of years ago, man began to tame wild dogs. After the dogs were tamed, they were trained. The strong dogs became working animals. They were trained to pull heavy loads. They learned to keep an eye on the sheep and other animals. Working dogs had other jobs, too.

Some dogs were not strong. But they could help man hunt for game. Other dogs were best as pets.

Today, there are more than 100 kinds of dogs in the world.

Everybody knows that our life is very short, so the great educators always

advocate us to do what we like and pursue for our goals bravely. Most people

have many ideas in their minds and they dare not to take action, because

thinking of the effort they make but what if they accomplish nothing, so they

decide to give up and just live the boring life. It reminds me of the famous
