this will involve ever increasing quantities of agriculture chemicals. from this, it is apparent that drastic steps must be taken immediately to develop corrective measures for the pollution problems.

there are two ways by which these pollution problems can be lessened. the first relates to the treatment of wastes to decrease their pollution hazard. this involves the processing of solid wastes "prior to" disposal and the treatment of liquid wastes to permit the reuse to the water or best reduce pollution upon final disposal.

the second approach is to develop an economic use for all or part of the wastes. farm manure is spread in fields as a nutrient. wastes from sewage disposal plants are used in some areas both for irrigation and for the nutrients contained.

liquid wastes from other processing plants may also be used as a supplemental source of water. only by doing these promptly now can we epect to solve the serious water problems in the future.

大学毕业后，我成为了一名老师，虽然我每天都很忙碌，但是我没忘记过我的梦想，我仍然不断坚持学习。在求知的道路上不断摸索前进，废寝忘食。现在，我已经小有成就了，我的多篇研究论文相继发表，研究成果也有着极高的应用价值。我很快乐。虽然，成为一名科学家目标还很远，毕竟我还是在不断向前迈进。

我们每个人都会有梦想，虽然每个梦想都不同，但是只要有梦想，去努力、去追求，就会梦想成真，成就一个美好的未来。

我想大家都听说过一句话：“我有一个梦想！”，这是著名的美国黑人民权运动领袖马丁·路德·金在一次演讲中的一句话。马丁·路德·金从小目睹黑人受到压迫和不公正待遇，立下志愿，要为每一位黑人寻求公正和平等的待遇。他为了人人平等这个梦想，同美国的黑人种族歧视制度进行了不屈不挠的斗争，发动民权运动。他26岁时在林肯纪念馆演讲“我有一个梦想”，一直付出许多努力，为黑人赢得了平等的权利，得到了人们的支持和尊重，也获得了诺贝尔和平奖。

不光是这些名人都有梦想并且为之奋斗。普通人也一样。

我原来也有一个梦想。低年级时，我梦想成为大队干部。这几年来，我努力学习，努力工作，团结帮助同学，在四年级时实现了这个梦想。

现在，我梦想，梦想我能上一个好的中学，所以，我又开始了努力：校内保证不落功课，认真对待每一次考试；校外多做奥数，多读古文，多练英语。梦想需要坚持，需要不怕挫折。如果这次失败了，我将在初中的三年里，更加用功，不懈怠，一丝不苟，争取踏入理想高中的校门。

不管梦想是怎样的，只要向着梦想奔跑，一切便皆有可能。

终于踏进了中原这块古老的土地！

一九九三年九月，经过五天五夜的汽车、火车、轮船的颠簸，从江西辗转四五千里，力排重重困难，我来到了梦魂萦绕的学校——豫东古都开封附近的中国嵩山少林武术院，来圆我的武术梦。

开学的五天，白天我认真刻苦地练功，晚上师兄弟们都打着如雷的鼾声之际，我却蒙被偷偷地哭泣……不是为练功的艰苦，不是为咽不下每餐的馒头，不是恋家的温暖。想起那贫穷落后的小山村，想起生活拮据的家，想起花甲已过的爷爷，已入不惑的双亲，十八载含辛茹苦地养育了我，正望我肩挑重担，分担劳累，承欢膝下。而我，却远在千里之外学艺，尚不言赚钱以养父母，犹不能自食其力，更还要向父母辛苦劳累的十亩薄田伸手要钱，将生存依附于父母，这三年之间，他们还要为我节衣缩食，不避寒暑地辛苦劳作……眼泪，一次次地打湿了枕头……

武术可以健身养生、防身自卫，当我邮购了几期《少林与太极》后，便深深地迷恋上了武术，立志此生无论如何也要学武术，以充实自己的人生。

家中贫穷，面对现实，我决心自己赚足了钱再去学艺。我订阅了很多报刊，参加二个农业函授班，大干苦干了三年，却因天时、地利、人和诸方面不如人意而收效甚微。

年华如流水，青春不再来，时不我待，我毅然借了舅舅二百元，加上家里一百元，启程北上寻师习武。

报名后，我连买碗的钱都没有。为节省钱，贵一点的菜就不打，以米汤代菜下馒头，早上常饿得头晕目眩。那段日子的生活是我有生以来最为艰苦的，但艰苦中却夹杂着乐趣和新奇。

转眼中秋佳节来临，晚上，当师兄弟们都取了钱上街喝酒吃月饼赏月，偌大的寝室里只剩下我一人独坐床头之时，凄凉孤独的感觉涌遍了我的全身，泪——无声地滑落……故乡的父母，他们又怎能想到儿子在这中秋佳节却秉灯独坐，没有月饼，没有佳肴，没有欢乐，更不敢登楼望月呵！

三个月匆匆过去，寒假来临，为了省钱，我决定平生第一次在他乡过春节。这期间，我写了一封长信给老师，叙述了我的情况和愿望。当天下午老师就把我叫到身边说：“你的信我看过了，有志气！字也写得不错。家里困难，我把你下两年的学费免了，你好好下劲练功吧……”我知道，我幸运地遇到了一位不但武功高强，而且武德高尚的好老师。

这以后，我便担负起为老师誉写稿件、回信，每日三餐记伙食账，算账的差事，还帮老师当了一个月的厨师。能为老师尽一份自己的力，我感到心中无限欣慰和充实。

“每逢佳节倍思亲”，九五年春节又来临了，我多么想与阔别的亲人团聚，共度佳节呵！而我的账上已欠老师二百多元。为省钱为多学武功，我再次接受了河南严寒冰雪的磨砺，江南游子异客他乡，为了理想，我无怨无悔！

十四五岁的时候，我便对摄影产生了兴趣。九五年六月，经过认真考虑“论证”，凭着两本书——《摄影入门》和《家庭摄影小百科》，我大胆地借了一千多元钱买了一台单镜头反光照相机，开始自学摄影技术。凭着这，我在第四届郑州国际少林武术节抓拍精彩武术、散打镜头，三上嵩山少林寺旅游观光……掌握了摄影技术的同时，也减轻了家里的经济负担。现在，我省吃俭用已能自食其力。

人，怎样活着才有价值？这个问题一直在我的脑海里闪现了千万遍。我知道，理想很渺茫遥远，人的生命其实很短暂，我们没有理由不珍惜时间和青春去做自己认为有意义的事。于是高强度练功之余，我把精力投入到学习中去：读书、写作……在我的床上除了被子，便是一排书，几乎占满了靠墙的一面。

现在，我买了一本《办公自动化与电脑操作》的书，象自学摄影一样地自学起了电脑。没有电脑，我便在硬纸板上画了个键盘练习电脑录入技术。

未来的时代，是知识爆炸，信息高度发达的时代，在这个充满竞争、挑战和机遇的社会，需要的是高知识型有真才实干的人才。站在人生的起跑线上，我相信，有梦想才有未来！
