?水池旁有一圈专门来装饰水池的鲜花，每天。学生们迎着朝阳到学校，一进大门就能看到这个美丽的这个水池，可见这水池挺受学生们的欢迎，刚建好的时候学生一到学校都会上来参观，即使过了很久，还有学生来参观景色水池。其实他们都是来看那些游动着的生命——鲤鱼的。可是自从鲤鱼死后，就没学生过来看了，其实我也很难过，好端端的小生命一个个就没了。

哦，我想起来了，水池旁边还有两个麒麟头，在它们的嘴里会喷出小水柱，我多么希望快快在水里增加几条有活力的生命啊!这样学校的水池才更有趣，也更给校园增添风光，这样的喷水池也有它无比神奇的色彩哦!

Today, father bought me a lovely chicken, whole body long with orange, I named it "yellow". Huang, two small eyes with a twinkle, like a star, its so hard claws havent grow strong, let the little yellow looks more lovely. Huang favorite things to do is to sleep on my feet. Fluffy and soft body, let me feel the warmth. Watch it slept soundly, I couldnt move, afraid to wake up it, when I move my feet, it also reluctant to follow my feet. In the evening little yellow or haw, want me to accompany it. So I made a model of a foot, surrounded by a warm water bottles, so huang at ease dream, fell asleep watching it, I also sleep peacefully. Yellow like running around and I hide and seek, on one occasion, I seek along while, also didnt find it, then found the little yellow in my bathtub. Since I go to high school, I feel the great pressure. High school is the very important period of my life, because if I study well, I can enter into my the ideal college and have the bight future. So I want to do my best, I don’t want to lag behind. The problem is that I can’t always be the top student, sometimes I will fail the exam. At that time, I need to adjust myself and take easy. The way for me to relax is various. First, I will listen to the music. Hearing the music can smooth my heart, it helps calm down, so I will get out of the annoyance. Second, I like to do some sports, such as jogging, basketball and tennis. Doing these sports also helps me let out my bad emotion and I become energetic again.

The annual Lantern Festival arrived, and I came to my grandmas house with a

happy mood.

My grandmother had already prepared the lantern for me and my sister, and I

was a smiling piggy, with a lovely appearance and a little belly. Sisters is a

small dragonfly, its wings are like real, able to move back and forth. Before

dinner, grandma asked me and my sister to shine a lantern on the granary and

corner, and grandma said that the place would not be a worm in the four

seasons.

After dinner, we again outside fireworks, daddy is holding a big fireworks,

in the middle of the yard, a ignition, scratching, see flames, the fireworks

into a golden ball, flying in all directions, so beautiful, my sister and I the

excited jumped down.

How happy I was on the fifteenth day of the first month!

一年一度的元宵节到了，我怀着愉快的情绪来到奶奶家。

奶奶早已给我和姐姐准备好的灯笼，我的是一只笑眯眯的小猪，它的样貌十分可爱，还带着一个小肚兜。姐姐的是一只小蜻蜓，它的翅膀像真的一样，能够来回扇动。晚饭前，奶奶让我和姐姐用灯笼照一下粮仓和墙角等地方，奶奶说这样照过了的地方一年四季就不会生虫了。

I am a third year master major in automation at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, P. R. China. Withtremendous interest in Industrial Engineering, I am writing to apply for acceptance into your Ph.D. graduate program.

In 1995, I entered the Nanjing University of Science & Technology (NUST) -- widely considered one of the China’s best engineering schools. During the following undergraduate study, my academic records kept distinguished among the whole department. I was granted First Class Prize every semester,In 1999, I got the privilege to enter the graduate program waived of the admission test.

At the period of my graduate study, my overall GPA(3.77/4.0) ranked top 5% in the department. In the second semester, I became teacher assistant that is given to talented and matured students only. This year, I won the Acer Scholarship as the one and only candidate in my department, which is the ultimate accolade for distinguished students endowed by my university. Presently, I am preparing my graduation thesis and trying for the honor of Excellent Graduation Thesis.

Research experience and academic activity

When a sophomore, I joined the Association of AI Enthusiast and began to narrow down my interest for my future research. With the tool of OpenGL and Matlab, I designed a simulationprogram for transportation scheduling system. It is now widely used by different research groups in NUST. I assumed and fulfilled a sewage analysis & dispose project for Nanjing sewagetreatment plant. This was my first practice to convert a laboratory idea to a commercial product.

In retrospect, I find myself standing on a solid basis in both theory and experience, which has prepared me for the Ph.D. program. My future research interests include: Network Scheduling Problem, Heuristic Algorithm research (especially in GA and Neural network), Supply chain network research, Hybrid system performance analysis with Petri nets and Data Mining.
