Waste management is a big problem for Australia. Australian population continues to grow and we need to use more and more resources and creating more waste. Wastes are substances that have no further use and if disposed of in land water or air can harm humans or the environment. If we don’t do something for the amount of waste that is produced there is a risk that we may run out of room in landfills or even run out of resources and I conducted the surveys from my friends and neighbours to check how many rubbish we need to waste and what is that.

I conducted 20 surveys asking them about type and amount of waste that they generate each week. The results showed that about 35% of people have 2 bags of rubbish per day. And about 25% of people have 1 and 3 bags of rubbish per day. The rest of them have 8+ bags per week. Do you know how large of the number for the rubbish? If an average weight of 2 kg per bag that’s mean we got about 116+kg per week for 20 household. If we have 23 million people in Australia that’s mean we need to waste about 113.4 million rubbishes per week. That’s a really huge number. And then I want to tell them about which strategies they need to be using to make a positive impact on waste management. The survey result also showed that there were a number of different types of waste thrown out in each household. Just like I think before most of them are food waste (29%) and the following are plastic (21%) garden waste (18%) paper product (15%) glass (10%) miscellaneous (5%) and the last one is aluminium (2%). 我们学校的课外活动丰富多彩。每天我们打篮球、踢足球、跳绳等等。但是我最喜欢科技月和文化节。那时我们有机会向所有学生展示我们自己。我们可以和其他同学一起做小发明。我们还可以表演、演讲或参加唱歌比赛。我非常喜欢这些活动。

During these two years, we have seen many movies about the youth, the

directors try to remind people of their passed early days. Indeed, when people

see the movie, they feel the situation is so familiar that they could not help

thinking about their days in the school. As for me, when I see the movie, I will

think about my high school days, it was so unforgettable for me, my friends and

I studied so hard together, our strong friendship was built at that time, the

stupid things we did always makes me laugh. Everyone will have an unforgettable

My sister is Alice. She is very lovely. She has long hair .Her hobby is flying kites. She likes collecting stamps too. Her favourite fruit is apples. She likes noodles very much.

She is a good girl. She often helps her mother do the housework. She is very kind. She has many friends in her school. She likes riding bikes with me. This is my sister. I love her very much.

In our daily lives, we have many choices to make, such as what to eat for supper,what clothes to wear, or what to do on weekends. At certain times in our lives, we need to make even more critical choices, such as which school to attend, what job to take or who to choose as husband or wife. Yes, life is a matter of choice. Seemimgly, it means a choice of tangible things. But in essence, it means choosing a way of life. Life is to be lived, savored, and enjoyed, not to be wasted or complained about.

Although we cannot choose our appearance, inborn gifts and even avoid unexpected disasters and adversities, we do have the privilege to choose to live optimistcally,to love our lives, to have dreams, and to cherish hopes.

Every morning when we get up, we have a choice of how we want to approach life that day. As for me, I choose to be cheerful.

Most westerners always celebrate Christmas Day as their major festival, in

order to memorialize Jesus. During that time, they always have several days off,

so they can enjoy this festival with all their hearts. The children often get

together with their friends. The adults are busy with decorating their houses.

They also send the postcards with their best wishes to each other. In the

streets, there are so many Fathers Christmas sending presents to the passers-by.

And everything is on a discount in the supermarkets. Thus the supermarkets are

the busiest places.

In the evening, the families usually have pudding, sandwiches, apple pies

and some other desserts for dinner. After supper, the families always sing and

dance around the Christmas tree. Sometimes, they also go to church. Before going

to bed, the children often hang up their stockings beside their bed, so that

Father Christmas will fill them with presents. It is said that Father Christmas

always drives a deer to the human world and entering into each house from the

chimney. Now the children no longer believe in Father Christmas, but they still

hang up their stockings, because their parents will fill them with presents.
