暑假的时候，我们一家人去越南旅游。

因为我们住的酒店距离海边很近，在返程的前一天，我们决定坐快艇到海上的一个岛屿游玩。

坐上快艇，我的心里忐忑不安，心想：如果遇上风暴怎么办？到半路上船抛锚了怎么办？虽然我会游泳，但是在这茫茫的大海中，我就像一只渺小的小虾。

开快艇的师傅是越南本地人，听不懂我们的中文。我们叫他开慢点儿，他竟然开得飞快！

“砰！砰！”浪花撞到快艇的浮板和浮球上，发出像打雷一样的声音。

过来十多分钟，我们一船人来到了海的中央，看不见任何陆地，这时，海风来了！海水就像发了疯似的，卷起一波一波的浪。我心里害怕极了。

“砰！”随着一声巨大的声音，海水从外面“飞”进快艇来了！

“天呐！”一船的人都在叫着。快艇的师傅也有点儿慌了，把救生衣都铺在船仓的地上。“飞”进来的海水都流向了快艇的尾部。

更不幸的是，刚平静了一会儿，又接着“风雨大作”。快艇开得似乎更快了，风刮得更急了，又是一声“砰”！快艇的尾部被抛起来了！

“啊------”我大叫。我坐在快艇靠后的位置，差点儿整个被抛起来了。快艇东摇西晃的，就像游乐场里的“海盗船”。

接下来，风刮得没那么猛了，雨也渐渐变小了。我们的目的地也在视野内了，快艇师傅把速度缓下来了，大家都松了一口气。

走下快艇，我的心跳得好像兔子似的，刚才那惊险的一幕似乎意犹未尽。

这时，妈妈说了一句话：“人的生命，似洪水奔流，不遇风雨和暗礁，难以激起美丽的浪花。”这是她在一本书上看到的。

As we know, many people favor theidea that the college life is free and comfortable, but I’d like to say it’snot true. I enjoyed my May Day holiday. We Chinese people celebrated the International Labour Day in different ways. Some of us really enjoyed our holiday vacations, so we went sightseeing and visiting our loved ones. However, other people had to take their duties on this holiday.

For example, the police, firefighters and soldiers were on their duties by keeping us safe throughout the holiday. Hospitals opened during the holiday, so doctors and nurses were on call for taking care of their patients. 在大学，不会再有老师苦口婆心的教诲和防腐不知疲倦的讲解；不会有每天做不完的习题和试卷；也不会天天为了分数、名次而焦急、苦恼……在体验大学生活的这一个月中，有这样一件事让我印象比较深刻：在大学的第一堂课上，有两个女生迟到了几分钟，按照以前的习惯打报告进教室。但后来老师说：“在大学中，如果你上课迟到或者有事想要早退的话，你不用打报告，只需悄悄地从后门出入，不要影响大家就好……”在这以后，我也遇到过其他在高中甚至想都不敢想的事情。比如可以随时出入宿舍和校门，因需要完成某事要逃课等。

所以，我总结出：大学，是一个完全靠自觉的过程。如果高中的我们还是一只雏鸟，那么大学的我们可以说已经长大，远离了父母的庇护，远离了老师的督促，剩下的只有自己做自己的主人。

所以，现在的我们要自己管好自己，自己规划自己美好的大学生活，并自己保证今后能够笑着谈起自己的大学生活。

大学的第二个特点就是有更多的时间和空间，大学中绝不会有从早上5点出宿舍上课直到晚上10点才回去休息的情况；也不会因为喜欢看《红楼梦》但怕被老师发现而东躲西藏的事情，更重要的是，在大学里有各种各样的活动等着你去参加和体验，而这些在高中都被视为纯属浪费时间的事情。其实，从这些事情中我们也能学到许多知识——课本里并没有的知识，学到许多经验或是教训，学到大学的丰富多彩……

所以，我认为，比知识更重要的是能力，而能力地培养需要一个过程，大学则是这样一个很好的过程。

I went to beijing to play during last summer holiday.

I went to Beijing more than eight times. Beijing is the capital of China. It’s a big city. I am very familiar with Beijing. It takes an hour and forty minutes from Nantong to Beijing by plane. 今年暑假，我和爸爸去吉林玩，令我印象最深的是在原始森林的河流中漂流。

那是个阳光灿烂的午后，我们来到露水河国家森林公园参加漂流活动。这是我第一次漂流，非常兴奋，迫不及待地想要体验漂流之旅。

我和爸爸坐在皮筏子之上顺流而下。开始时，我们的筏子比较靠后，我对爸爸说：“快点划！快点划！我要当第一！”爸爸奋力地划桨，划得很快，没一会儿，我们就冲到了前面。旁边皮筏子上有人拽我们皮筏子上的绳子，这样他们可以漂的更快一些。爸爸用浆撩起一层薄薄的水花，洒向他们。我也用手交替着向他们泼水。他们笑着躲避，就松开了手。欢乐的笑声洋溢在河道之中。

途中，我远远地望见了有工作人员在岸边拿着盆，等着向我们泼水。爸爸说：“别泼，别泼！”我们幸运地躲过去了。我回头看，发现工作人员有经验了，再说“别泼”已经不管用了，后面的人被“倾盆之雨”淋透了。

水流渐渐地变急了，我们的筏子越漂越快，一直向前冲，后面见不到人影了。周围寂静得只能听见水流声和我跟爸爸的聊天声，连虫鸣鸟叫的声音也没有。我觉得安静的可怕，心里忐忑起来，感觉就像在野外走错路了一样。左边岸上耸立着高大的乔木，枝繁叶茂，像一把把撑开的巨伞，把太阳都遮住了，地上铺满了枯黄的落叶，腐朽的木栈道上掉落的木板被横七竖八地“扔”在地上，感觉像传说中神秘的迷雾森林；右边岸上的风景就截然不同，平缓的山坡上长满了低矮的灌木丛，阳光充足，让我感受到了“返景入深林，复照青苔上”的意境。

有时我们的皮筏子会被水流冲到岸边，有很长很长的野草垂向水中，我们就要很敏捷地躲开树枝和野草；有时，筏子会搁浅，我和爸爸就齐心协力地晃动筏子，让筏子移动位置，再由水流把我们继续冲下去；有时，遇到落差比较大的地方就很容易溅起水花，有一次水花居然“飞”了半米多高，又落到了爸爸的脖子上，爸爸几乎全身都湿透了，我的裤子全湿了，上衣湿了一点点。冲下一个不到30度的小坡之后，水像凝固了似的，没有一点儿水流。我望见前面人工砌的小岛上，有人下皮筏子，原来不知不觉中，我们到了终点。

这次漂流很开心，我觉得意犹未尽。我盼望着还能漂流。

第三天，上午我早早的就起床去练字。中午，我们几个同学一起约好去周末家玩。我们先和她家的小狗玩了一会，然后就去了公园，还去了游乐场，我们一起嬉戏，一起游戏，可高兴了！最后，我们回到了她家，在那里静静地等着爸爸、妈妈来接我。

My campus activities are rich and colorful.Learning English has become a habit to me cause I plan to study abroad in next few years.Playing Guzheng is my favorite activity.I have kept on practising it since I was a little girl and I wish to win more competitions in my campus life.

Our university has the first level equipments and the most experienced teachers,also has the best students(laugh).I consider it to be a honor that Ive got a chance to study here and I sincerely hope that we could live wonderful lives in our campus!

Depending on personal experience, personality type and emotional concern,

we find that some people hold the idea of living in the country, while others

prefer living in the city. In my opinion, I prefer the city life, though it has

advantages and disadvantages.

First of all, city life is very colorful. City is the center of the

There are many great things and wonderful activities in the city, while there

improvement of people’s living standard, people have more cars and more people

come to city, and then the city becomes more and more crowd. As a result,

traffic jam emerges, which makes great inconvenience for people to go out.

What’s worse, the air pollution becomes serious day by day, which is bad for

people’s health.

To sum up, every coin has two sides. Living in the city also has good side

and bad aspect. Whether like living in city or not depends on individual

thinking. As myself, I like living in city though I know the disadvantage of

living in city.

Generally speaking, long holidays are good for us college students. On the one hand, we have a lot of time to study by ourselves and thus and further develop strengths.

On the other hand, we can take part-time jobs, which can make us realize responsibility and make ourselves better prepared for social life. But every coin has two sides. Some students fail to make good use of their time and they are addicted to various computer games. I am afraid that they are likely to ruin themselves in this way. As far as I am concerned, I will try to make the best use of my precious time. I will spend most of my holidays studying English for that I am very poor at it. In addition.

During the winter vacation, nothing is different for my life. I wake up 11

oclock Am everyday, after a washing, I have a good lunch with my parents. Next

I play computer games till the time to have supper. After have dinner. I go on

playing till 2 oclock Am, and then go to sleep with tired. This is one dull day

of my winter vacation.

But I havent bored all the time. Sometimes I read the books, sometime I

listen to the music or the radio in the bed, because it was very cold outside

and snowy all the day. And I also meat some of my good friends during the

vacation, we have a very long talk about the life of each other in the past year

and play table tennis tegether. And I watched the spring festival party of the

CCTV in the last seconds of the 2004 year! I think this is the thing most people

of china doing at that time.
