although is "small bridge， flowing water， somebody elses style， but the quiet

jiangnan dragon boat， a beat my heart a position. There is no noise， only the

river， ancient， and with a style of old bridge， guarded the beautiful land of

this one party!

Todays wuxi， let me have to admire it， though the beautiful night view

than Shanghai， but it is also the mainland top ten charm city! The charm of it

is still in the scenery around it. For example： li garden， three kingdoms city，

water margin and Tang Cheng beautiful scenery of wuxi city， it is no wonder that

wuxi would be so charming. Shanghai is a city that never sleeps， this word is

true. On the beauty of the bund， looking at star of the Oriental pearl tower， a

kind of want to stay in Shanghai， live in Shanghai will be instantly. In the

Oriental pearl tower in Shanghai at night is really an enjoyment， sparkling the

huangpu river， those dots of lights， and there will be a very romantic feeling!

I live in the hotel in nanjing road， visit the store every night， feeling really

very good!!!!!!

Nowadays, there are more and more people playing with their phones

everywhere, hence it has been a big issue in our society. Some people think that

phones are necessary for them because they have to keep in touch with their

friends, customers and parents. Instead, some people think that phones not only

destroy their relationship with friends but also are not good for their

health.

Some doctors say that if you spend a long time on using it every day, it

may cause your eyesight problem. In addition, you can see unusual scenery in our

society. For example, people become indifferent and cold-blooded because they

mainly talk with each other on phone. It not only affects your physical health

but also your spirit health. What’s worse, phones also produce some harmful

radiation which really hurts your brain because it may cause your memory

problems and even get a cancer.

However, phone is not always negative in your life. There is a research

shows that it not only can kill your time but can also reduces your stress.

Therefore, we have to learn that how to control our time when we use it, and

also know that how to use it correctly.

I like to listen to music very much, especially the English songs. My

favorite band is Coldplay. When I hear their classic song Yellow, I will be very

excited. The reason I like this band is that they have something different from

others. In their songs, they search about life. Listening to English songs also

can help me improve my English level.

My school is at haimen town. it is very big and beautiful. there are

forty-three classes in it. when you come to our school, you can see the modern

teaching building.

Our teachers work and do practice in it. behind the building, there are two

classroom buildings and a school library. in the library there are thousands and

thousands of books. after class you can borrow the books you want and also you

can read them in the reading room at any time.

Beside our classroom, there is a big playground. at about 4:30 p.m. every

day, many students play football, basketball and some of them play tennis. all

the playground is alive.

Our school is a model school in jiangsu. i like my school very much.

My favorite animals are swans.they are white.they can swim very well.I

think they look like a beautiful girl in a white dress.they have a pair of wings

and they can also fly well.I believe they are angles from the sky.they bring us

love and make us happy.they are always friendly to us.We cant hurt them，because

they are our friend.I love them!I like dogs，too.they are not beautiful，but they

are the best friends.they keep the thieves away.Dogs have the best listening and

eyes.they can hear in the nosiy，see in the dark.If we are in danger，they will

help us at once.And they dont mind their lives.So，I love them.

There was once a little girl called Lulu, who is also me, that wanted to

visit the moon for just one time. And so I packed up everything that I will

need, and went to the space port to get ready.

Before we took off, I just ate a sandwich and dreamed if I were an

astronaut. “3, 2, 1…” and we blasted off to outer space. I was so excited that I

even took notes when we were still on the ship. I wrote these words which I only

have in my own brain; they were, “I love flying on the space ship and learn

about outer space, although I am not even on the moon,” those words I thought

that would make my father proud.

Now since we had already reached the moon, I got down and jumped up, and

figured that I could jump very high. I knew why because I learned it in science

class today, and so I wrote, “On the moon, I can jump very high because that our

weight is lighter on the moon according to its gravity.” I love exploring, and

heard that there were also aliens here.

I was really excited, and asked some of the real alive astronauts if the

aliens were true, some of them said yes but some of them said no; I was

confused, “Why did some say yes and some say no? I think that I shall have to

find out;” after saying those words I and the astronauts went around and around

the moon looking for aliens. At first I thought that we could find some, but

after an hour we began to feel more that the aliens didn’t exist at all; some of

the astronauts smiled.

I didn’t know why they smiled but I thought that it was pretty natural.

After one minute I heard a thumping noise, and a queer sound coming from the

darks side of the moon. I looked over there and saw some queer little fellows

heading their way, they had no where to hide, and so they found a pile of rock

which was by our side; and went to hide. When the little queer men went away we

came out of our hiding spot and went on. I began to write, “I knew at once that

they must be the aliens…” I thought it was a cool report and the astronauts

smiled again.

I did not know what they were smiling at, probably their habit or something

perhaps? After thinking about that queer question I heard another thumping sound

and some huge men walked pass them just as the little ones did. I was now really

confused, “Some little and some big ones?” perhaps they were having a game or

something like that.

After the tour, I was very excited to give my report to my father and so

hopped on the space ship to go back to earth. But there was a problem; they

couldn’t find where they lived. The astronauts smiled and didn’t say a word. I

was now extra confused because I thought that they were nervous too. And so they

took another passage to Africa where it is the place best to have a safari,

which is to have a picnic with wild animals around them.

After landing I said, “Why did you take this pass?” and then after that

they smiled again, I was still confused. When I turned my head in front of

myself, I saw dad on the ground with wild animals all around him. Now I

remembered that it was my birthday; I was so surprised, and even the aliens

came. Now I know the whole plan about this.

I have a good friend, and her name is Lucy. We have known each other for

more than five years. When I am in trouble, she will be the first one to give me

a hand. I am so thankful to her. So when she feels unhappy, I will accompany

her. Lucy is a true friend. I hope our friendship can last forever.

Dear Tom,

Im just writing to let you know that were all well, and I hope you are, too. Unfortunately, Ive got some rather bad news for you: Im afraid I made a bit of a mess of Johns car. Anyway, heres what happened.

We were on our way to Carols after a long party, and I suppose it must have been about eleven o’clock. Well, the last few miles back home were really dark and deserted. I now realize I was probably going a bit too fast for a country lane because, although the road was fairly straight, I drove up onto the curb and went into a tree.

Of course, John was absolutely furious and started shouting at me and cursing. After we d argued for a few moments, we decided to look at the damage, and he calmed down a bit. Well, we found we could move the car, but the wing was caught on the wheel, so we couldnt drive it. I tried to pull the wing clear, but I didnt succeed.

Anyway, John went off to phone for a breakdown lorry, but while he was away, I had another go at the wing and this time succeeded in pulling it right off. I threw it onto the back seat, and by that time John got back and we were ready to go?so we didnt need the breakdown lorry at all. John has more or less forgiven me now, but he was very angry with me for a few days. I suppose I was a bit careless.

Well, thats all for now. Next time I write I hope Ill have better news for you.

how time flies! it is ahnost a month since i arrived here and began a new life as a university student. but all this time, i have been missing you and my dear school. i just can not tell you how grateful i am to you for the help you gave me during my preparation for the university entrance examination. now i will tell you something about my university and life here.

our university lies at the foot of mount zijin, in the eastern suburbs of nanjing city. the campus is very big,with a big sportsground surrounded by lots of modern classroom buildings. what have impressed me most are the big library and the well-equipped language lab. our campus is also very beautiful. there are quite a few well-kept gardens. every road is lined with trees. how happy we are to study in such an enviromnent!

life here is both busy and coloufful. we have classes every morning. in the afternoon, we either work in the laboratory or do assignments in the classroom. in the evening, we can go to talks or do reading in the library. this keeps us occupied most of the week. but on weekends, there are always many entertainments. we may go to the club to have a dance or go to the cinema to see a fihn. sometimes we may also hold a party to practise oral english. in a word, we like our life here very much.

are you still teaching one of the senior classes? i really think that the students in your class are lucky for they will certainly benefit greatly under your instruction. but take care not to overwork yourself. i do hope you will have a chance of visiting me here.

Not only is summer a hot season but also diseases are apt to happen. To us

it is neither comfortable nor safe.If we do not wish to get sick, we must pay

attention to the following sanitary ways in summer.Both fresh air and clean food

are indispensable to us.We must try our best to get them.We should take at least

one bath every day.Don’t wear dirty clothes.

Im in the school is a beautiful school， has many different kinds of

plants. Look! Those two covering at the school gate， thin timbo hangs from the

thick branches. Whenever the wind breeze picked up， sister timbo sister gently

In summer, the weather is hot. We should drink more water, because we sweat

a lot in hot days. But I prefer to eat fruits. Watermelon, apple and grape are

my most favorites. They are all rich in water. There is a saying that an apple a

day keeps the doctor away. Fruits are good to our body. There are many kinds of

vitamins in fruits. Besides, some people do not like drinking water, so they can

eat fruits instead. I am one of them.

As a child, I like to eat all kinds of meat, but I don’t like vegetables.

My mother always tries to let me eat some vegetables. She educates me that

balanced diet can help me stay healthy. I start to realize the importance of

balanced diet, so I try to have vegetable. Later, I find that I fall in love

with it, and now vegetable is necessary food for me.

I have a house. It is big and new. There are eight rooms in it. They are a

living-room， a kitchen， three bedrooms， one study and two bathrooms. I watch TV

in the living-room. I do my homework in the study. I have dinner in the kitchen.

This is my house. I like it.

Im a tall and lively boy. I like playing basketball very much because its

interesting. I like NBA, too. There are many famous stars in it. Such as Alan,

Iveson, Tim, Donken, Jordan, Kobe, ONeal and so on. Yao Ming is in the NBA,

too. Hes Chinese. He plays basketball well. Hes a center forward. Hes our

pride. All the ball stars can jump, shoot and pour in the basket. So each game

of the NBA is wonderful. Sometimes the players can perform miracles, I

think.

This years champion is Spur Team. It’s one of the strongest

contenders.

I like NBA. I love basketball.

How time flies! My three-year middle school life will be over soon. Looking back， I have many memories of my English study.

When I entered the middle school， I had so many difficulties with my English. I was not able to understand the teacher in class， and I couldn’t master the words and phrases. wont get sick often. And you can not stay up late, to early to bed and early to

rise, you should speak hygiene, clean themselves, often to drink lots of water

every day, not to eat junk food, and so on are conducive to a healthy body, the

most important thing is to pay attention to safety.
