在六年里，学校的变化真是翻天覆地。记得一二年级的时候，学校的运动场，一刮风，就黄沙满天，那些沙吹入我们的眼睛里真难受。一下雨凹凸不平，一不小心就会踩下去。现在一改旧貌，变得多么美丽壮壮观。许多人都攒不绝口，什么篮球比赛，都是在我校举行。因为他们人为这是天下无双的塑胶运动场。还有，以前在一楼的废水池，臭气曛天，破烂不堪。现在已经改造成另外一张面孔。是知识市场，有科学研究室，有课室，有乒乓球厅。好多了!

不过美中不足的地方是植物园里，以前一年四季都美如画卷。春天万物复苏，鸟语花香，夏天花朵万紫千红，鱼儿在嬉戏。秋天树叶变黄了，像蝴蝶似的落在地上，形成一张金黄金的毛毯。冬天它们都沉睡了。现在已经彻底地毁了容。难道校长忽视了这个地方了吗?不是的。对于这个地方，我觉得校长应该组织同学亲自种花草树木，一些同学就打扫卫生。在科技活动时，在生物圆就开放，让生物组的同学进去观察学习。

这样的话，我们学校每个角落一定会生机勃勃，闪耀着灿烂的金光。

Two years ago, I lived in my hometown. It is a beautiful place for me and I

like the life there. Every day, I wake up early in the morning, then I will walk

in the country road with my grandma. We will meet some people and we say hello

to each other. The trees are so green and the water is so clean. I play a lot of

I noticed an ad. In the paper today you said you were looking for people to join your expedition team. It sounded as if it might be fun so Im writing to say Id like to come along.

About myself: I left school at 16 because I wanted to earn a bit of money. After that I got a few part-time jobs as a waiter, etc. But I didnt stick to any of them for long. Recently Ive been doing a bit of hitch-hiking round Europe so Ive had some experience of traveling the hard way which should come in handy on the expedition youre planning. By the way, Im a great guitarist so I can keep you all amused round the campfire at night.

Hello! Winter vacation for a long time, did not see you, so want to write a

Im a tall and lively boy. I like playing basketball very much because its

interesting. I like NBA, too. There are many famous stars in it. Such as Alan,

Iveson, Tim, Donken, Jordan, Kobe, ONeal and so on. Yao Ming is in the NBA,

too. Hes Chinese. He plays basketball well. Hes a center forward. Hes our

pride. All the ball stars can jump, shoot and pour in the basket. So each game

of the NBA is wonderful. Sometimes the players can perform miracles, I

This years champion is Spur Team. It’s one of the strongest

contenders.

I like NBA. I love basketball.
