今年八月，我和舞蹈班的同学一起去北京参加国际文化艺术交流活动。活动第二天，老师带我们一起去爬长城，我们兴奋极了。

早上五点半，我们就起床洗漱。经过两个小时的车程，我们来到了长城脚下。幸运的是，那天没有烈日炎炎，没有人山人海，我们可以尽情欣赏长城的美了。抬头向远处看，一望无际的山峦，连绵不断，山上郁郁葱葱。长城宛如一条巨龙盘旋在起伏的群山之间，气势磅礴，雄伟壮观。

塘埔湿地公园，久闻其名，据说这里曾经是一片荒凉的垃圾堆，后来塘埔乡贤在这儿投资，把荒地变成美丽的公园。

我们一走进湿地公园，就留意到，这里的地面真干净啊!比得上吸尘器刚清扫过的。这一带的清洁工打扫十分卖力，几乎一点尘土都不放过。听黄校长说，每月村委只给他们一点象征性的补贴，他们本着为村里服务的心，不在意补贴不补贴的，都很认真地做这项工作。

小路两旁的小草姿态万千，生长仿佛没有阻碍，爱长什么样就长什么样，有的长得壮，有的长得细;有的长得密，有的长得稀。豪放又温柔，可爱得很。

再向前走，路边齐刷刷地排着一朵朵花，风一吹，便开心地摆着身子，向路人点头问好。没觉得这里少什么，倒感到有些东西溢满——是热情啊。

走上木桥，桥下是环绕着园子的小溪。溪水上躺着一片片荷叶，在蓝天下舒服地休息。荷叶旁边站着几朵未开的荷花，像他们的好伙伴，陪伴着他们。溪上安放了一架巨大的筒车，据说筒车是唐朝的时候，人们为了减轻农业体力负担而制成的，不过，这里的筒车不是服务农业的，是供游人欣赏的景观。

这时，我们看见溪上漂浮着死去的鱼。我们指着谈论，给我们讲解的黄校长便立刻叫人来清理，工人们飞一样的速度打捞死鱼后便继续打扫了。我们突然醒悟，哦，这个美丽洁净的地方并不是大自然的奇迹，而是人们努力的成果。

今天我原本是不想来的，谁知道却收获了前所未有的启示，我思绪延长到很远——美丽，是人们脑子里的图画，要想变成现实，需要每个人齐心协力。

August 7,2014 Friday Today, I did housework for grandmother. She is not

very healthy and I decide to do housework for her more frequently. And she will

feel happy and become better. Suddenly, an idea hit me that it’s terrible to

grow old becuase you have to worry about both your health and others’ opinions.

Once again, I make a decision to be a good girl.

In China, people usually have three meal a day, they are breakfast, lunch

and supper.People usually have breakfast from seven to nine in the morning.

There are many kind of food for them to eat, such as nuddles, eggs, fried dough

sticks and soy milk. They have lunch at about twelve at noon, usually have

vegetables, meats and rice. They have a short rest after lunch. Supper is about

at six in the evening. All the family eat together, they eat the same kind of

food as the lunch. Some people like to have some fruits after the meal.

It was the second day of our winter holiday. I felt good. I felt Im free.

I had a lot of time to do things I like. My parents are in Beijing. So I live

alone but I dont feel lonely. But I didnt do something special. I stayed at

home and watched TV. Oh! I wrote an English daily composition. It was my

homework. Today, I have slept for 14 hours. I thought I was very tired. It was

The Spring Festival is a traditional festival for all Chinese people. On

that evening there is a very traditional ceremony----Spring Festival Gala, which

is the favorite for many people. It brings so much happiness to Chinese all

around the world .

When asked about their opinion on Spring Festival Gala, people always

reason differently. Some people deem that it should be cancelled, while there

are also other people who argue that it should be continued.

Some people take it for granted that the Gala should not exist because it

is too boring on the evening of the Lunar New Year. Besides, the form of the

Evening seems the same every year. In comparison, there are, however, a large

number of people who hold a different view concerning this issue, they insist

that the Gala must be continued. They argue that it is one of the most important

celebration customs. And they think the Gala is worth expecting.
