2、句子开头的多样化

“主-谓-宾”、“主-系-表”是英语的基本句型，主语领先句也是用得最多的句型。写作中为避免形式单一，当句子可以用主语开头，同时又可以其它结构开头时，不妨变换一下。如：

(1)Defeated in the minor exchanges,I now play my queen of trumps.(分词短语做状语开头)

(2)There are two ways in which one can own a book.( there be句型开头)

(3)Equally important is a good habit of reading(表语开头)

以上各句都可以用主语开句，但在篇章中通过改变句子开头，文章就会疏落有致，语言形式丰富多采。

3、句子结构的多样化

写作中可以通过句型结构的变化来增添文采，强化表现力。如：

(l) The love of the liberty is the love of the others;the love of power ls thelove of ourselves.

(平行结构.这类结构整齐、紧凑;句子生动、鲜明，语义贯通、语势强劲有力。)

(2)The days when we suffered from oppression and exploitation are gone.(这样表达文字通顺，但语意不很突出。)

改为：Gone are the days when we suffered fron oppression andexploitation.

(采用倒装句结构后，充分体现出受剥削受压迫的人民解放后扬眉吐气的心情。)

选择无处不在。面朝大海，春暖花开，是海子的选择;人不是生来被打败的，是海明威的选择;人固有一死，或重于泰山，或轻于鸿毛，是司马迁的选择。同样，我这个俗人也面临着各种各样的选择。

从小到大，选择一直都不离不弃地跟在我的身边。

第一次进入幼儿园，就有了选择。那是一颗玻璃球，很美，很耀眼，但漂亮的玻璃球却不属于我!那个幼年的我，被耀眼的如同太阳似的玻璃球吸引了，拿起还是放下?小小的我，犹豫良久，最终选择在人不注意的时候，把它拿回了家。面对爸爸劈头盖脸的臭骂，我的眼泪像断了线的珠子，一颗一颗流了下来。这时，我知道，人生的第一个选择题，我选错了。

后来，我进入了一个叫小学的地方。从幼儿园出来的我，面对陌生的环境，怯生生地坐着，课堂上，看着身边的同学悄悄地玩得开心的样子，再抬头看看讲台上投入讲课的老师，我心里的天平倾向了她。一堂又一堂，一天又一天的课程坚持下来，期中考试，我获得了年级第一的好成绩，看着手中的奖状，我绽放出开心的微笑，我知道，这回我选对了。

一个通知短信引领我踏入了初中的殿堂。这里的人，少了一些年幼的稚嫩，多了一份少年的成熟，像大人们口中常说的“青春是最好的时期，也是叛逆的时候”。青春期的我也不例外，本以为坚持自我的决心不会动摇，家人与老师的话，却让我在路口停了下来：认真学，率性玩?这在大人看来，再简单不过了，可对于青春的我，却拿不定主意。我望望开满鲜花的田野，宽阔的操场;又瞅瞅《王者荣耀》;再看看“二力平衡”，哎，到底去哪里?我摇摇头，但我知道，必须选，于是我闭上眼睛，选择了攻克物理难关。当我享受着获得好成绩后的喜悦时，我知道，这次我还是选对了。
