郭明义参军之前，只是初中学历。在部队时，他抓住“缝隙时间”学习英语。来到矿山工作后，他每天晚上都骑自行车往返20多公里，到市内的夜校学习。

Now I’m studying in Hunan First Normal College, which is Chairman Mao’s former school. I major in English, because I find it so fun and interesting. As far as I’m concerned, our English Department is the best department in our college. The teachers in our department are knowledgeable, experienced, and warm-hearted. And my classmates are nice, friendly and helpful. Thus, I have a good atmosphere to study. When I have difficulties in study, I always ask my teachers for help or discuss with my classmates. College life is much different from high school life. In college, we should acquire knowledge as well as improve our integrated abilities. There are a lot of English classes for us to learn, such as Basic English, Oral English, Listening, Reading, Writing, Translation, Grammar, English Literature, and so on. I enjoy these classes very much. Except English, we have many other subjects to learn. Life seems so busy here but it’s so fruitful for me.

After class, I usually go to the English Corner. There I can practice my oral English by talking with foreigners or chatting with my schoolmates. Now, I’m able to communicate with foreigners well. Sometimes I also take part in some social activities. For instance, last weekend I attended an interesting play. As it was my first performance, I felt a little nervous at the beginning. But when I appeared on the stage, I made every audience laugh happily. I was so proud of myself at that moment, because this was my first achievement.

I know all my friends wish in the New Year, is not my turn to ask each one, when we were together chat, talk about the topic. Our first New Years resolutions is to make the family go in peace, healthy, happy life. Another is the friends are very want a red envelope.

A lot of each years harvest. When we chat is hot there is a classmate stood up and said: "we should not take mom and dad thats their hard earned money, if we took the money to natural and unrestrained, wouldnt it be too sorry they." "Yes, youre right." "The teacher?" "Well, the classmate say yes, if we put the money in the study, that." Applause sounded.

Dont dont care about my parents hard earned money, they are not easy.

2016 is coming, my friends: whats your New Years resolution?

辞去了2015，迎来了2016，在新的一年里相信每一个朋友心里都会有一个新年愿望。

我身边朋友的新年愿望我都知道，不是我挨个挨个去问的，是我们在一起聊天时，聊到了这个话题而已。我们的新年愿望第一个就是让家人平平安安、健健康康、快快乐乐的度过一生。再一个就是朋友们都非常想要的红包了。

每年的收获可大了。当我们的聊的正火热时有一位同学站起来说：“我们不应该拿爸爸妈妈的钱那是他们辛辛苦苦赚来的，如果我们拿了钱去潇洒，那岂不是太对不起他们了。”“对，你说的对。”“老师?”“嗯，这位同学说的对，如果我们把这笔钱用在学习上，那才对。”掌声响起来了。

不要不在乎爸爸妈妈辛辛苦苦赚来的钱，他们很不容易。

2016就要来了，朋友们你们的新年愿望是什么?

Christmas is a happy holiday. One I think about it, my heart will be blooming flowers, happy and excited.

On Christmas day, a special cold, also under the sleet outside. But the cold weather is to resist the merry Christmas. The streets are placed in front of the shop in the beautiful Christmas tree, in the supermarket employees also have a lovely Christmas cap.

That night I and uncle, cousin, aunt walk out the door a look, the "gone with the wind" can be seen everywhere in the shop window of "snow", the Christmas tree on both sides of the store is full of Santa Claus and toys, there are lights in the colorful light, people packed a bit, people hand carry many shopping away, the car come and go, flow. But uncle looked at the price, bargain with the manager, finally put the high price of 450 yuan into 300 yuan. So I came back home so contentedly.

At home, I cant wait to put the socks on the pillow beside. I sleep in a bed, while waiting for the Santa Claus gift hidden in my socks, eyes shut, unconsciously I fell asleep.

圣诞节是一个快乐的节日。一想起来，我的心里就会盛开一朵朵灿烂的花，快乐而激动。

圣诞节那天，天格外寒冷，外面还下着雨夹雪。但寒冷的天气丝毫挡不住圣诞节快乐的脚步。街上的商店门前都摆上了美丽的圣诞树，超市里的员工也戴上了可爱的圣诞帽。

这天晚上我和姨丈，表姐，姨娘走出门一看，到处都能看见那“飘”在商店橱窗的“雪花”，商店两旁的圣诞树挂满了圣诞老人和玩具，还有彩灯在发着五颜六色的光，人们 挤得有点水泄不通，人们手上提着许多购来的东西，车子来来往往，川流不息。我们走在街上听到了许多的圣诞歌，我不由自主的跟着哼了起来。

我们走进了衣服店，店员们忙碌地招待顾客。我左挑右选，就是找不到我喜欢的衣服。突然，我眼睛一亮找到了一件红蓝相间的衣服，这时姨丈拿来一件黑不拉瞅的衣服，用滑稽的语气说：“好看么?”我看了，头摇得像拨浪鼓似地，我拿着这件红蓝相间的衣服说：“我一定要这件衣服。”姨丈毫不犹豫的答应了。但姨丈看了价钱，跟店长讨价还价了一番，终于把那高价的450元变成了300元。于是我就这样心满意足地回了家。

到了家，我迫不及待地去把袜子放在枕头旁。我睡在床上，一边等圣诞老人把礼物藏在我的袜子里，一边紧闭双眼，不知不觉我就睡着了。

with the development of technology, people can do some operations to make

their faces look prefect, even to look much younger than their real ages. when

we see the commercial ads, we can find the stars look gorgeous, we are so envy

about their young faces. but to me, i think the secret of keeping young is not

by surgery operation, but to keep a healthy lifestyle. today, young people are

living an unhealthy life, they like to stay up and wake up at the noon. young

people form the habit of taking activity at night while sleeping in the day. how

terrible it is, they are damaging their bodies, their bodies will get older than

the normal speed. if people sleep early and wake up in the morning, do some

exercises and keep the balance diet, they will look young. so don’t expect the

surgery to help look young, it is harmful, only the healthy lifestyle does.

随着科技的发展，人们可以通过一些手术来让他们的脸看起来完美，甚至看起来比实际的年龄年轻。当我们看到商业广告时，可以发现明星看起来很漂亮，嫉妒他们年轻的容颜。但是对于我来说，我觉得保持年轻的秘密不是通过外科手术，而是保持健康的生活方式。今天，年轻人的生活方式很不健康，他们喜欢熬夜，中午才起床。年轻人养成了在晚上活动，白天睡觉的习惯。这是多么糟糕啊，他们是在损害自己的身体，他们的身体比正常的速度老化得快。如果人们早睡早起，做运动，保持平衡的饮食，他们会看起来年轻。所以不要期望通过外科手术来变得年轻，那是有害的，唯有健康的生活习惯才能让你年轻。
