生活在长白山上的东北虎10年前还有10只，现在却不足8只，因为长白山上环境被恶化，所以使东北虎面临灭绝;只生活在长江中下游的白鳍豚10年前还有20头，但2008年科学工作者在长江中下游勘察了一个星期却没有发现一头白鳍豚，如果这一项工作被证实的话，那么白鳍豚早在2008年就已经灭绝了，因为长江中下游的水环境被严重破坏，所以使白鳍豚面临灭绝;我国的国宝大熊猫现在已经不足20只了，大熊猫已经有几千年的历史，被称为‘活化石’!它具有很大的科学考察性。因为我国的大面积竹林被破坏，所以使大熊猫面临灭绝;可爱的羚羊，野生动物王国的跳跃健将和奔跑的佼佼者，却因为过度放牧，所以使羚羊只能嚼着干瘦的‘地衣’和面临灭;还有不会飞的水栖鸟—企鹅……难道我们就忍心看着这些可爱的动物们面临灭绝吗?

现在的人们为了钱可以不顾一切，‘钱乃身外之物’钱没有了可以再挣。但是动物灭绝了就再也没有了!为了我们人类请保护它们，为了我们的家园请保护它们，为了自然生态的平衡请保护它们!虽然我不是诗人，我不会用优美的语句去恳请人们保护动物们，但是我会用发自心腹的真心话去恳请人们去保护动物!我们已经经历过一次恐龙灭绝了，恐龙的灭绝使我国的研究受到了一定的阻碍。难道我们人类只有经历过所以动物的灭绝才会醒悟吗?

如果动物灭绝了，那么，接下来灭绝的就是人类!保护动物。

“环保、环保”现在到处都在宣传。环保说起来很简单，可做起来就难了，人类生活中面临的最大问题就是环保。要解决这一问题我们必须从基础做起，从每个人身边的小事做起。 "Environmental protection, environmental protection" is now promoting everywhere.Environmental protection is simple to say, but it is difficult to do. The biggest problem facing human life is environmental protection.To solve this problem, we must start from the foundation and start with the small things around everyone.

“环保”就在我们身边，需要人人动手。我们每天在生活、学习与工作中都会产生许多的生活垃圾。假如我们能注意卫生，不随地乱扔东西，自觉把实在不能再用的东西丢进垃圾桶，使市容更整洁。有些废物对环境破坏是很大的，例如，我们购买东西时常常使用塑料袋，一些人用完了塑料袋就到处乱扔，不论扔到地上或是扔到河里，都造成了白色污染。

废电池具有非常大的毒性，扔到河里，一旦电池中的水银混入地下水，则可能通过农作物或饮用水进入人体，容易在大脑积累，损伤人的肾脏，从而使人的神经系统受到严重的破坏。对此，我们应该营造垃圾分类处理与废物回收利用的社会良好风气，比如旧报纸、用过的塑料袋、废电池…送到废物回收站，送回工厂重新加工利用，变废为宝。

工业垃圾、废水废气排放，对我们生产、生活环境破坏更大。有些化工厂把废弃的有毒的水都排到江河里，清澈的河水，一瞬间就变成乌黑乌黑的，河里的许多鱼儿都中毒死亡了。我们的饮用水源也被破坏了，农民的农作物、水产养殖受污染、毒化减产或绝收。假如我们的工厂能按照国家的法律，做好污水、废气的科学处理，工业垃圾的回收利用，一定能人类及地球带来很大收益。

我们要尽可能减少人为对地球及我们生存环境破坏的同时，我们更需要来美化地球以及我们生活、学习与工作的环境，用我们的双手来大兴植草造林，保护我们的土地与水源，让人类与各种生动物和谐相处，让山峰林木俊秀、让河流清澈见底，让空气清新天空尉蓝。处处花香鸟语、鱼歌互答。

“地球是我家，环保靠大家!”让我们来保护我们的家园，让我们的家园更美好吧!

地球是我们人类的家园，也是人类的母亲。我们依赖它，探索它。这个蔚蓝色的星球多么美丽，但我们要知道：地球只有一个! Earth is our human home and a human mother.We depend on it and explore it.How beautiful this azure planet is, but we need to know: There is only one earth!

遗憾的是，许多人对于这个浅显易懂的道理却视而不见，继续为所欲为，妄顾地球家园的安危。环境科学家曲格平曾经说过这样一句话：“唯有变革，才能拯救人类的命运，也唯有变革，才能使我们的子孙后代世世代代生存下去。”里面的“变革”就是指环保。说得很对，所以如今有许多人拿着标语在街上喊空口号，却没有见过多的行动。难道这样污染就会好转吗?不!

看，我们城市里的河流的河水发黑发臭;排成长龙的汽车放出大量的废气;成片的绿地变成“石屎森林”;那清脆的鸟叫声消失得无影无踪。如果再这样下去，中国将继续贫乏水资源，空气将变得愈来愈浑浊，本世纪将有10%的鸟类物种消失。上述的事情，我们人类是罪魁祸首!

人人皆知：树木能吸收二氧化碳，排放氧气，净化空气，是我们人类生存的必要的条件。但是有一些人为了金钱去乱砍滥伐树木，造成了过度的水土流失，使大地的植被受到严重的破坏，绿洲和城市也荒漠化，我们人类的生存受到了威胁。就我们平时用的一次性筷子，每天都要耗费数十亩的森林，在那些人眼中，树木除了可以做家具和建筑材料外，似乎没有任何价值。

难道还有人不懂树木对我们意味着什么吗我们居住面积已经很小了，如果再这样下去，可能连我们的土地都失去。还有，我们的母亲河——黄河近年来河床和含沙量不断增高，成为全国污染最严重的几条江河之一。我们不能眼睁睁地看着黄河从我们手中枯竭，因而有许多环境学者纷纷研究治理黄河污染的方案，试图改善黄河的水质。但如果没有我们的共同参与，我们这个生命的摇篮——黄河将会走向衰竭和死亡。

如果我们再肆无忌惮地破坏环境，大自然将会给予我们惩罚。那些特大的洪水剥夺了不知多少人的性命，还有由于温室效应,南极北极的冰川融化导致水平面升高,海水淹没了沿海地区，经济损失惨重。难道这不是的证明吗?

我的家乡广宁是靠竹海生态旅游来发展经济的，而今，某些竹林的环境恶乱不堪，让人叫苦不迭。竹海生态游是我们广宁发展的根，如果根被破坏了，怎能长出茂盛的枝叶、开出美丽的花儿呢

让我们善待人类、善待自然吧!不知大家是否看过《保护环境可做的100件事》这篇文章。其实，我们能做的事很多很多。如，在植树节栽一盆花、种一棵树;保护野生动物，是生态得到平衡;珍惜水资源，不要向江河倾倒垃圾;当环保小卫士，利用每个绿色纪念日宣传环保意识，让青山常在、绿水长流、泥土永芬芳……这都是我们力所能及的事情，我们为何不愿意实践呢?

现在，地球的生态环境加剧恶化，环保警世钟已经敲响了。让我们齐齐加入保护环境的行列，创立一个人与大自然和谐共处的美好未来，让人类与自然生生不息地繁衍下去吧!

Cars and Air Pollution

Too many cars have created a lot of serious problems in our world. Besides congestion, accidents and fast fuel consumption, cars are responsible for a good part of air pollution in big cities. All the time, they are pumping huge amounts of waste gases into the atmosphere. These gases are very harmful, causing disease and even death.

One possible solution is to design and develop clean cars and clean fuels. In Shanghai, some of the public buses begin to run on natural gas, which does not give off as much carbon dioxide as the petrol. But it may take decades for the new models of clean cars completely replace the traditional ones. Another solution is to develop modern public transportation systems and restrict the use of private cars. If the price of petrol rises constantly and the public vehicles are efficient and convenient enough, most people will not buy private cars. And the total number of cars in big cities will reduce greatly.

On the whole, the elimination of air pollution needs the collective efforts from the government, the public and the environmentalists.

“吱嘎，吱嘎……”随着这斧头发出的噪音，一棵棵枝繁叶茂的大树应声倒下，鸟兽惊恐的叫声此起彼伏，一只啄木鸟找到了“肇事者”—那位头戴贝雷帽，嘴叼着一枝烟，挥舞着手中的斧头的伐木工人，他口中还念念有词：“这棵树里一定有虫。”啄木鸟愤怒地啄着这个利令智昏的伐木工人的榆木脑袋：“这木头里一定有虫。”……

这树里真的有虫吗？恐怕不是。那么，这伐木工人的做法可就是真实版的“掩耳盗铃”了。我们知道，在日常生活中，木头就是不可缺少的，从小小的铅笔到大大的桌椅，木头的应用很广，我们的生活离不开木头。这就给这利欲熏心的伐木工人以市场，他随意地砍伐树木，破坏森林，制成各种用品，这其中的利润更是惊人的，而地球上的绿色资源呢，则在一天天地减少。

当然，这种利欲熏心的“伐木工人”并不仅仅只有这么一位，正在被破坏的自然资源也并非只有树木。无独有偶，猎人们因垂涎动物们的皮毛或肉，滥捕滥杀；工厂里的废气污水被排放至江河湖泊，空气中，大街上，一辆辆私家车，那排放出的尾气，所耗费的石油，那可是不可计数的……人类所破坏的环境资源已使地球累得喘不过气来，如果人类继续破坏，事事“利”字当头，也许，不知是哪一天，“世界末日”这颗定时炸弹将会爆炸，而葬送人类以及地球上的一切的，恰恰是人类自己。

那么，从现在开始，就让我们一起行动来吧！让我们珍惜每一滴水，每一张纸，使用可降解的垃圾袋，拒绝使用各种动物毛皮制品……我相信，假如所有人都事事“环保”当头，那么，也许“世界末日”的定时炸弹就不会爆炸，地球的未来将是世间万物的乐土，那么，就让我们从现在起，珍惜资源，保护环境！

每个月的15号，爸爸都会带上我回老家。 On the 15th of each month, my dad will bring me back to my hometown.

爸爸说有两个原因，一是回来看望奶奶，二是给村上的池塘清清垃圾洗洗……

我心里觉得很奇怪，为什么池塘也要洗澡呢?爸爸告诉我：“如果你十天半月不洗澡会怎么样呢?身体臭臭对不对?那池塘也是一样，那么多的垃圾被扔到里面，也会臭臭哦，那么池塘里的小鱼和其他小动物也会被污染的，我们也就吃不到干净的小鱼小虾，不能用干净的水洗米洗菜，也不能下池塘游泳了哦。“

我问爸爸为什么其他那么多人不去干活，为什么要你去捡垃圾呢?爸爸说他是党员，要起带头作用，要让更多的人知道水资源的珍贵，让更多人知道保护水源的意义。于是，我帮着爸爸一起捡起池塘边各种大大小小的垃圾，心里觉得很开心。

就这样捡着捡着，突然间想起不久前妈妈带着我到施光南玩，看着那广场上弯弯曲曲的小河流水，我感到很开心很兴奋，狂奔着跑向小河，挽起裤管刚想下去玩水游泳，结果被妈妈阻止了，但还是嘟着嘴坚持要下去，想着那就是我的天堂，妈妈真不够意思。这时妈妈走过来，摸摸我的头，微笑着说：”宝贝，那小河里被扔进了很多的垃圾，会产生很多的细菌，你要是下去玩水，身上也会粘满细菌，对身体不好哦，要不我们先一起把小河里的垃圾捡起，等下再去买把水枪喷射好了，告诉正在扔垃圾的其他人不可以这样做好吗?“

虽然觉得妈妈的话很有道理，虽然玩水枪一样玩得很开心，但是心里觉得还是有点遗憾，我是多么想下去玩玩水，游游泳啊!

多么希望每个人都能够讲卫生，不往水里扔垃圾，多么希望明年的今天回到这里时可以看到清爽干净的水，可以不再只是玩水枪，而是可以下水玩个够啊!

我想大家都想在一个绿树成荫、鸟语花香的地方生活吧！漫步在绿树成荫、姹紫嫣红的校园中，一定会感到心旷神怡。坐在窗明几净的教室中读书时，怎能不全神贯注？在这样一个整洁优雅的环境中学习，定会倍感心情舒畅。在优美的校园环境中，我们沐浴着阳光，吸取着营养。我们满怀激情，畅想未来。

校园是我们的乐园，也是我们成长的摇篮。我们的点滴进步和每一个习惯都来自于校园，形成于校园。

“保护环境，净化校园”这一精神文明的主旋律，就像阳光洒向大地。它环绕整个校园告诉我们：净化、绿化、美化校园是每位同学的义务和责任，也是自身素质的体现。然而，一些不良习惯在校园中时常可见，校园里乱扔的废弃物给校园景色蒙上了一层阴影。在我们的校园里，还到处散落着同学们随意乱扔的瓜子壳、糖果纸、食品包装、饮料瓶……每当风吹起，这些垃圾就在我们的校园里“翩翩起舞”，与我们的校园极不相称。我相信，没有哪一位同学希望在一个垃圾遍地，放眼斑斑点点的环境中学习。所以，我希望大家都能做到不在校园内吃口香糖、瓜子、糖果等零食，更不能乱扔残渣废物，并提醒乱扔垃圾的同学，应把爱护环境为己任，做好值日工作，看到地面上有纸屑等，主动捡起来，教室垃圾桶满了主动倒掉……自觉维护校园的清洁卫生。

保护校园环境，人人有责。校园是我家，美丽靠大家。“勿以善小而不为，勿以恶小而为之”。让我们携起手来，保护环境，净化校园，把我们的校园建设得更美丽吧！
