Just like the branch road, we have to make a lot of choices during our

lifetime. It is usually considered that we are choosing what to gain, to own,

but in my opinion, we are just choosing to give up.

Choosing to be a teacher means giving up the life as rich as a business

man;

Choosing to be a top student means giving up much leisure time in front of

the TV.

Sure, it’s a torture, but we must judge carefully what is more important,

then give up the others. Don’t think of them any more, just focus all your

spirit on what you are doing.

I myself, who is standing here, have already chosen to challenge in such a

great competition, so I have to give up ten days of normal classes in school and

relaxation without pressure. But I am still pleased, because giving up properly

makes me stick to my choice.

According to the report that most children in the family don’t have to the housework, because their parents have done all the work for them. When students go to middle school, it means they are not the little girls and little boys anymore, they have grown up and it is time for them to learn to be independent. Doing the housework and reducing the parents’ burden help the children to be mature, what’s more, the parents should not overprotect their kids all the time, they can give some jobs to the children and lead them to be independent. Doing the housework is not a big deal, but it is the attitude to life.

Habits

Habits, whether good or bad, are gradually formed. When a person doesa certain thing again and again, he＇ll be obliged to do it in the same way by some unseen force. Thus habit is formed. Once a habit is formed, it is difficult and sometimes almost impossible to get rid of it. It is.therefore very important that we should take care in the formation of habits.

Good habits have many advantages. Going to bed early and getting up early makes us healthy. Diligence helps to succeed. Honesty helps:: win the respeet and trust of others.

If we form bad habits, such as rudeness, laziness, lying and stealing, we might be mined by them.

We ought to keep away from bad habits and try to acquire habits good for ourselves and others. ( 133 words)

习惯

习惯，不管是好是坏，都是逐渐形成的。当一个人反复的做某件事时，他就会被某种看不见的力量驱使不得不以同样的方式再去做这件事，于是习惯就形成了。习惯一旦形成，就很难、有时几乎不可能改掉。因此，在养成习惯时我们都应该特别小心，这一点至关重要。

良好习惯有着许多优点。早睡早起身体好；勤奋助人成功；诚实助人赢得他人的尊重和信任。

如果我们养成了坏习惯，比如：粗野、懒惰、说谎、偷窃，我们就可能堕落。

我们应该远离坏习惯并努力养成对己对人都有好处的习惯。
