有一天，我和妈妈还有姥姥一起去坐公共汽车，想要去烈士陵园扫墓。开始我们是开开心心的出门啊，可是当我们去公共汽车车站等车的时候，发现旁边有一个垃圾桶，里面的垃圾已经发臭了，路过的行人纷纷五着鼻子绕到走，我们走过的时候一会闻见一股很大的腐臭味。

后来，我在去过的地方，凡是有垃圾桶的，我就仔细观察有没有臭味。经过一段时间的观察，我发现，现在的垃圾桶都是固定的，不像以前那种可以把垃圾倒出来，可是为什么会发臭呢??后来我才知道，原来是因为垃圾桶是固定的，那些环卫工人早晨清垃圾桶的时候，只是简单的把表面的垃圾捡出来，并没有清理到底部。有一次，我就去问他们为什么不把垃圾清理干净?他们说不是不想，是因为垃圾桶是固定的，所以手不能伸到底部，垃圾又不能倒出来，所以就只能把垃圾留在里面了。

由此可见，垃圾桶发臭，不是因为环卫工人不尽责，而是因为垃圾桶的设计有问题。我在此希望，为了oo市的美丽，为了空气的清新，请市长叔叔再叫人设计过一些既实用，有好看的垃圾桶，不要再让那些臭味来污染我们清新的空气。

Secondly, the ever-increasing population is another leading cause of water shortage. Besides, the global tendency of warming up also contributes to the problem. Whats worse, pollution and waste of fresh water aggravate the situation.In view of the seriousness of the problem, effective measures must be taken before things get worse. First, it is essential that laws and regulations be worked out and enforced to protect water resources. Secondly, people should enhance their awareness of saving water. With these measures taken, it is reasonable

for us to expect a brighter future.

人人皆知：树木能吸收二氧化碳，排放氧气，净 化空气，是我们人类生存的必要的条件。但是有一 些人为了金钱去乱砍滥伐树木，造成了过度的水土 流失，使大地的植被受到严重的破坏，绿洲和城市 也荒漠化，我们人类的生存受到了威胁。就我们平 时用的一次性筷子，每天都要耗费数十亩的森林， 在那些人眼中，树木除了可以做家具和建筑材料外 ，似乎没有任何价值。难道还有人不懂树木对我们 意味着什么吗 我们居住面积已经很小了，如果再这 样下去，可能连我们唯一的土地都失去。还有，我 们的母亲河——黄河近年来河床和含沙量不断增高 ，成为全国污染最严重的几条江河之一。我们不能 眼睁睁地看着黄河从我们手中枯竭，因而有许多环 境学者纷纷研究治理黄河污染的方案，试图改善黄 河的水质。但如果没有我们的共同参与，我们这个 生命的摇篮——黄河将会走向衰竭和死亡。

如果我们再肆无忌惮地破坏环境，大自然将会给 予我们惩罚。那些特大的洪水剥夺了不知多少人的 性命，还有由于温室效应,南极北极的冰川融化导致 水平面升高,海水淹没了沿海地区，经济损失惨重。 难道这不是最好的证明吗

我的家乡广宁是靠竹海生态旅游来发展经济的， 而今，某些竹林的环境恶乱不堪，让人叫苦不迭。 竹海生态游是我们广宁发展的根，如果根被破坏了 ，怎能长出茂盛的枝叶、开出美丽的花儿呢

现在大街上都是随处可见的垃圾。有的被风吹得满天都是，有的被风吹到了河中，还有的吹到了居民家的院子……有一些人不仅乱扔垃圾，还随意破坏大自然的花草树木，使它们不能再生，丢掉生命。这些现象已经严重毁掉了我们的生活环境，因此，我在此发起倡议：

一、不在大街上丢垃圾。丢垃圾这样不仅破坏了大街上的环境，还给年纪大的老爷爷和老奶奶带来了麻烦，影响出行。

二、野餐时要带走自己带来的垃圾，不能随意被五颜六色的垃圾盖住了。既污染环境，还破坏了绿草以及植物生长的土质。

三、不往河中排放废水（污水）。这样既破坏了水质，还让水中的鱼儿们死亡，更给常年住在河边的居民带来了非常大的不便。

四、节约用水。大家都知道水是生命之源，由于人们浪费水资源，有一些地方已经干旱。那里的人们因缺水而死亡。

五、不用一次性东西。有些人经常点外卖，造成一次性筷子的大量使用，这使大自然的树木不断减少。

六、不把垃圾扔进河里。有一些人经常把垃圾扔进水里，这一些垃圾随着水流漂进海洋变成了“海洋垃圾”，出海的渔船发动机经常失灵。

In recent years， many nations have bee more aware of the environmental issues each nation faces， such as air and water pollution。 The question is， are the environmental issues a national problem or an international problem? It is my belief that the environmental issues have grown to the point of being an international problem needing international cooperation to resolve。

Because of the differences in environmental policies， resources and technology， international cooperation could provide quicker results and have a greater impact on bringing resolution to environmental problems for nations of differing environmental policies and of lesser resources and technology。 By pooling international resources and technology to address the environmental problems， the disadvantaged nations are provided the assistance needed。 Otherwise their environmental conditions deteriorate ultimately affecting the resources and environment of the world as a whole。

One of the difficulities to an international resolution to environmental issues is the difference in individual nations view and policies toward environmental protection。 In order for international cooperation to occur and succeed， the nations of the world must submit themselved to international standards and supervision by an international mission elected by the participating nations of the world。 All members must agree to abide by the standards established。

The environmental issues facing each country are not unrelated to the well being of the rest of the world。 The impact is long term and international in scope。 Without international cooperation and agreement to address such environmental issues as glacial melting at the South Pole， depletion of the ozone layer， water pollution， air polution， etc。， the environmental conditions of the world will deteriorate to the detriment of every nation， not just those that ignore or lack the resources and technology to resolve their individual environmental problems。

可是现在，树木差不多被砍光了，泥石流不断地涌来，许许多多的人由于泥石流丧失了生命。小鸟没了家，只好在天空中不停地流浪。烟囱不停地冒出黑烟，把氧气转化成了不能呼吸的二氧化碳。天空中原本雪白的云朵儿，现在却变成乌黑乌黑的，像一团团发霉的棉花糖。水也被污染了，黑乎乎的一片，鱼儿根本没办法在那里生存。菜市场更糟糕，鸭毛、鸡毛随处可见，鱼摊更是乱七八糟的一片。一眼望去，能看见好多五颜六色的塑料袋，风一吹，那些塑料袋就翩翩起舞，在风的吹拂下这些塑料袋各显其能，好像在对我们说：“谢谢你们，要不是你们人类生产我们，就不会有我们的今天，真是太谢谢你们了！”

今天，我做了一个梦，发现我正站在马路上，水变清澈了，树木变得更茂盛了，天空也是碧蓝碧蓝的。我又来到了山坡上，山坡上的果树枝繁叶茂，枝头上还挂满了像灯笼似的果子。鸟儿在树上快乐地歌唱，蝴蝶在花丛中欢快地跳舞，小草频频向我们哈腰点头……

我真希望把梦中的场景变为现实，那样……

同学们，地球是生命之源，我们要爱护她、呵护她，“善待地球就是善待自己”，让我们一起保护地球吧！

保护地球，保护生态环境是我们每一个人的责任，这是我们都知道的一句话，可有多少人能真正做到这一句话呢？

记得我有一次去外婆家，外婆家里都干干净净的，却有一股酸酸臭臭的气味从窗户传过来，我跑过去一看，原来是一条小河，只见那条小河浑身发黑发臭，风一吹，臭味迎面扑来，使人不得不紧紧捂住口鼻，而且还有许多纸袋在河面上飘着，这条河怎么会这样呢？我带着疑问去问了外婆，外婆他说“在我小时候，这条河清澈无比，有许多小鱼小虾在河里面欢快的生活，而且没到夏天炎热的时候，我们都会成群结队的到河里游泳或抓一些小鱼小虾回去。而现在，人们不讲卫生，把垃圾扔到河里，逐渐的，河水发黑发臭，小鱼小虾全都死了。在夏天时，别说游泳了，连经过时也要捂住鼻口，迅速走过”。“那没人管吗？”我又问道。外婆回答说“我们曾经在河边立了一个牌子，上面写着：‘爱护小河，请别往小河扔垃圾，所以就不管了。”听完外婆的话我陷入了沉思，如果时间上人人到处扔垃圾的话，那地球上一定会脏乱不堪吧。所以请爱护地球，保护生态环境。

保护环境，从我做起，从点点滴滴做起，我们应该保护花草树木，珍稀水质源。如果每个人都少用一滴水，那一定能使一条条干枯的小河重获升级。为了地球的明天，人类的未来，让我们行动起来，节约能源，保卫家园，从我们身边做起。

我是一名农村小学四年级的学生，经常生活在农村里的我，对省城——西安的模样一无所知。在春节里，爸爸、妈妈决定把我带到西安去游玩。正月初六那天，我们一家人兴高采烈的出门了。初春的阳光照在我们身上感觉格外舒服。到了西安城，我看见在车水马龙的城市里，一股股浅蓝色的烟气从一辆辆机动车尾部喷出，呛得我睁不开眼睛，甚至感觉有点头昏。爸爸说：“这就是我们所说的机动车尾气，它的颜色怪异，而且气味令人头昏、恶心，神不知鬼不觉地影响人的身体健康。”妈妈又接着说：“汽车作为陆地上最主要的交通工具，它已经成为现代社会文明的标志。但汽车所排放的尾气已对大自然和人类造成及其严重的危害。”听了他们的话，我心里沉甸甸的，作为一名小学生，长大后能不能变废气为宝呢？

回到家后，我开始思索着。我在家里纸上画一画，结合我们日常的生活用品，我想研制一种新汽车，安装汽车尾气能量回收利用的空调装置，不但回收利用了汽车尾气的能量，还节省了能源，同时使汽车有空调器制冷的效果，降低汽车空调的生产成本，这种汽车尾气利用装置可安装在汽车轮子不同位置。

新装置安装在汽车排气管上，利用尾气与空气间温差导致的热效应，形成电能，我们可以利用尾气来发电，通过电动机驱动汽车。多余的电能，可以接到在家里，就可以节约燃料，减少用电量，真的是一举多得呢。也可以安装尾气净化装置，把有毒的尾气转换成氧气，也可以根据个人的爱好转换成各种各样的香气。

为了我的新装置能早些给人类带来福音，从现在起，我要更加勤奋学习，学习更多的科学知识，掌握足够的本领，实现更多的梦想！

Once man did not have to think about the protection of his environment。 There were few people on the earth， and natural resources seemed to be unlimited。Today things are different。 The world has bee too crowded。 We are using up our natural resources，and polluting our environment with dangerous chemicals。 If we continue to do this， human life on earth will not survive。 We realize that if too many fish are taken from the sea， there will soon be none left。 Yet，with modern fishing methods， more and more fish are caught。We know that if too many trees are cut down， forests will disappear。 Yet， we continue to use powerful machines to cut down more and more trees。 We see that if rivers are polluted with waste products， we will die。 Yet， waste products are still put into rivers。

过去，人们不必担心保护环境的问题。因为那时地球上人口稀少，自然资源似乎取之不尽。如今，一切都改变了。世界变得拥挤异常。我们正在耗尽我们的自然资源，有毒化学制品的使用也正污染着环境。如果我们继续这样下去，地球上的生命将不复存在。我们都明白如果从海里捕捉太多的鱼，海里就不会再有鱼了。可是，现代化的捕鱼技术使得捕鱼量越来越大。我们都明白如果砍伐太多的树木，森林就会消失。可是，我们仍旧使用强大的机械砍伐越来越多的树木。我们都明白如果河水被废弃物污染的话，我们仅有死路一条。可是废弃物仍然源源不断地进入河里。

We know that if the population continues to rise at the present rate， in a few years， there won＇t be enough food。What can we do to solve these problems?If we eat more vegetables and less meat， there will be more food available。 Land for crops feeds five times more people than land where animals are kept。Our natural resources will last longer if we learn to recycie them。The world population will not rise so quickly if people use modern methods of birth control。

我们明白，人口继续照此刻这个速度增长的话，不出几年，就会发生食物短缺。我们该如何解决这些问题呢?如果我们多吃蔬菜，少吃肉类的话，我们就会有更多的食物。因为同样大小的土地如果种庄稼的话会比养殖动物多养活五倍多的人。如果我们学会再利用的话，自然资源就能持续更久。如果人们使用现代化的生育控制方法，世界人口就不会增长如此迅猛。

Finally， if we educate people to think about the problems we shall have a better and cleaner planet in the future。

最终，如果我们能够教育人们都意识到这些问题的话，未来我们就会有一个更好、更洁净的星球。

春天来了，天气暖洋洋的，两只小燕子从南方飞回来了。飞着飞着，突然一阵烟雾飘来，弄得小燕子给黑煤球似的，小燕子屏住呼吸，终于飞出来了。它想去小河边洗个澡，但是一到那，就失望了，小河以前是干干净净的，不过现在变得污浊不堪，臭气熏天。小燕子伤心地哭了起来。

一条小鱼关切地问：“燕子姐姐，你怎么泪流满面呀？”燕子擦干眼泪说：“去年这里还空气清新，小河清澈明亮。现在却变成了垃圾场，这是怎么回事？”小鱼叹了口气，说：“小河旁边建了几座工厂，人类乱排放污气、污水，所以就变成这样了。”

“原来是这样呀，那你们肯定受了很多苦吧？”燕子担心地问。“是呀，人类为了方便，把垃圾随便扔到河里，有时候砸到我们，弄得我们青一块，紫一块，害得我的兄弟姐妹都死了。”小鱼伤心地说。

听完他们的对话，我鼻子酸酸的。抬头望着这灰蒙蒙的天空，远处几个大烟筒高高耸立着，时不时的往外冒着黑色东西。小树在风中摇摆着身体，好像在向我诉说着这里的一切。我低头看到了路边的垃圾，顺手捡起来，扔到了垃圾筒里。

我虽然现在是名小学生，但我明白：我们应该保护环境、爱护环境。让我们从小做起，从现在做起。

Serious Floods

The Yangzte River is the longest river in China. And its important and helpful to us Chinese. But these days the Yangtze River is bringing us serious floods.

Many villages were destroyed by floods. The floods made hundreds of millions of people lose their homes, relatives and friends. Many children cant go to school as usual .Now the foods have drawn the attention of the whole world. People from abroad have offered their help too. In China, millions of soldiers are busy fighting against the floods. They are working very hard. Many of them have lost their lives in their attempt to save the villagers.

Though we cant help them to fight against floods, we should help them to rebuild their homeland. We can present them our pocketmoney and clothes. I believe most of the people will return to their homeland in the near future.

严重的水灾

长江是中国最长的河流。它对我们中国人十分重要。但现在长江给我们带来了严重的水灾。

许多村庄被洪水冲毁于。洪水使成千上万的人失去了家园，亲戚和朋友。许多孩子不能与平常——样去学校了。现在洪水引起了全球的注意。国外的人也给予了援助。在中国，上百万的战士忙于与洪水搏斗。他们努力工作，许多人在救村民时献出了自己的生命。

尽管我们不能帮助他们抗洪，但我们可以帮他们重建家园。我们可以捐出零花钱和衣服。我相信在不久的将来大多数人会回到家乡。

Now in some places of our country, a number of people have been cutting down the trees in the forests because they need wood and more farmland. The areas of forests are getting smaller and smaller. Some scientists say that there will be no vast forests in 20 or 30 years. It is really a terrible thing. Where the forests disappear, dust storms will occur occasionally. The weather will get hot and dry. The whole earth will become a big desert. A lot of plants and animals will disappear.Crops will not grow anywhere. Life will be difficult for everyone. The human beings will be punished for their forest-destroying activities.

Therefore, we should realize the importance of taking care of our forests. We should do our best to protect our living environment and keep our mountains green,the water clean, and the sky blue.

周末，我和爸爸妈妈来到十六潭公园郊游。一路上，鸟语花香，到处充满的春天的气息路旁的柳树妹妹租着自己的小辫子，小草从土里慢慢的探出头来。

终于到了目的地，找到了一块小小的空地，爸爸铺好了一张长长的，蓝白相间的餐布，妈妈小心翼翼地拿出食物，把香蕉三明治，还有我最喜欢的鸡翅和鸡腿等等，放到餐布，我盯着我最喜欢的鸡翅，一把抢过来，闻了闻，舔了舔嘴巴，咽了咽口水，大力的撕开袋子，狼吞虎咽，然后一边吃一边说："妈妈，还有没有吃的啦！"妈妈转了身，理了理衣服，微笑的说："这里还有，小心点别噎着。”我吃完了鸡翅，留下了骨头，我都扔在草地上，骨头正好被茂盛的小草给掩盖住了，我看到了也不理睬。还继续吃，然后，吃完的垃圾袋被我一个一个的扔到的草地上，最后我四周到处都是垃圾。

忽然我看到穿着橘色的衣服的清洁工，正在那边弯着腰打扫边上的垃圾。满头大汗，伸出像树皮一样的手，走到我的旁边，先用钳子把垃圾放到垃圾箱，接着轻轻拿着扫把到处扫，然后，放进垃圾箱。最后就默默的走了。

后来我又看到一个小男孩手上提着一袋垃圾，走进垃圾箱，垫起了脚，把垃圾袋扔进去。我的脸顿时像红红的大苹果。想起老师说过，"保护环境，人人有责。”我就决定一定不能扔垃圾，要爱护环境。
