国家把重阳节这一天规定为敬老节，目的是用这种开展活动的方式来让人们树立尊老敬老的意识。国家设立一个社会普遍接受的节日，重要的目的在于提醒全社会对于某件事情的关注，而不是这件事情只有到了节日才想起来做。
