值得庆幸的是，我的懵懂无知并没有在初二延续下去。

值得庆幸的是，我的哥哥此时上高中了。

因为，是有了我的哥哥上高中，才有了我的反思和觉醒。

在我的眼里，我的哥哥一直没有地位，因为，他的成绩比不上我。不仅是比不上，那简直就是不能相比。因为，从小学到初中，每个学期结束我几乎都可以得到学校的奖状和奖品。而我的哥哥最多只能是偶尔得到那么一回两回的。换句话说，如果说我没得奖那可以说是我的失误，而哥哥要是得了奖，那极有可能是他“瞎猫撞上了死耗子”，算他走运。所以，我一直都不相信我哥哥怎么会在初三时考到班上的第九名，更不相信他能在初中毕业后考上一个普高。要知道，那个时候我们全县的高中的招生人数加起来也抵不了现在的一个重点高中的招生人数呀。我甚至于还怀疑过爸妈送我哥上高中是否有点糊涂。因为，在当时的人们眼里，读完高中考不上大学就是等于在丢钱。可是，就是这么一个不上我的“法眼”的哥哥居然在高一的第一次期中考试中就考了一个班上第三名;就是这么一个我认为一点都不会读书也决不可能会有出息的哥哥在我即将“沉沦”时，给我上了很好的一课，将迷途中我的及时唤醒。

那天是哥哥放月假回家，平时像“生鸭子一样打架”的我们兄弟俩此时可能因为久别生情的原因而变得亲密起来。像是陡然长大了好多的哥哥晚饭后主动提出来要和我到马路上去走走，而我也欣然答应了。只记得那天晚上月光皎洁，只记得哥哥只给我算了一笔帐：他在高中学习费用一个学期大概是三百块钱，一年下来就是六百块;如果我也上高中的话，那么最少也要这么多。我们俩加起来一年的费用就是一千二百块。而当时我家的主要收入来源是我爸爸做泥工的收入，我清楚地记得那时爸爸一天的工钱是五块钱，一年下来，爸爸如果能够赚上一千块钱就算他运气蛮不错。除此而外，就只有田里地里那些可怜的收入了。而那些收入能用来抵销家里家外那些零零碎碎的开支就算非常不错了。也就是说，只要我们兄弟俩全上高中，我们家就是舍上爸爸妈妈的老骨头也还是入不敷出。即使我考上重点高中，爸妈都极有可能无力供我们兄弟全上高中念大学，这也就意味着我随时可能失学。而要让我初中之后有书可读的话，摆在我面前就只有一条路可走：考上中专。在当时，考上中专就意味着不要钱可以读书，意味着三年之后就有一个“铁饭碗”。而这在许多人看来都是镜花水月——有太多的农家子弟都在为之而刻苦攻读，你算老几?在当时许多乡镇中学常常是一界就考上那么两三个中专生，有时一个也没有也是平常事。在我哥哥毕业的那界学生中我们学校也就考上了六人，那还是在全县放了“卫星”——少之又少的事。哥哥给我算帐的目的就是叫我明白一个事实：想读书就得考中专!我记得我当时的心好像都冷了，我极不情愿承认哥哥说是是事实，我好像还有点责怪哥哥那么差的成绩怎么也要去念高中，把原本属于我的读书位置给占了。但在事实面前，我不得不听从了哥哥的计划与安排：初二结束一定要有班级前五名的成绩，初三再向年组前十名冲击，看我们学校那时的走势，到我们那界学生毕业考上十来个中专不是没有可能。

于是就有了那个明明放学了，可是就是不回家，而令老师诧异不止的我。而这样做的目的却只是为了延长我学习的时间。因为，我知道一回家就有非常琐碎的家务劳动要我去做。虽然妈妈不会强求我，要我一定去做。但往往是看着他们太多的事情，我不得不去帮忙。于是，一到放学，我并不急着回家。我一个人坐在教室里，拿出以前学过的厚厚的一本语文书一页页的翻看、复习。看看外面天差不多黑了，我才背起书包回家。在夜幕降临中走上半个小时回到家中，就可以刚好赶上家里的晚饭了。到了冬天，天黑得早，我干脆住校了。那时学校条件很差，我临时插进去住校，早已没有了铺位。幸亏妈妈找到我们村上一位在我们学校教书而很少住在学校的老师说情，让我住在他那。现在回想起来，真的得好好谢谢那位老师。因为，是有了我的住学生活，才有了我的成绩的飞速提高。因为，是住学生活给了我很好的学习环境。我们那些住学生不仅晚自习纪律很好，而且是下晚自习后都在“加班加点”，都在暗暗较劲。毕竟，都是农村孩子，都知道只能靠自己的努力来改变一切呀!于是乎，一本《社会主义建设常识》被我们背得滚瓜烂熟——这是我们记忆的程度;一次《政治》考试，三张油印试卷，至少有两张问答题，拿到试卷的我们就算是中间不作任何的思考，马不停蹄的往下作答，到终考铃响，大部分的同学都没有做完——这是我们考试的难度。但是，我们没有任何同学有过抱怨，我们都清醒地知道这就是真正的考验。谁能承受住这种考验，谁就能笑在最后。在初三的这段时间里，我的身高没有增加哪怕是一毫米，而体重却迅速地下降了十多斤。用此换来的是在中专预考中，我以超出录取线三十多分的成绩高全校榜首。这是我以前做梦都没有想到过的事情。

于是，我知道了只有埋头苦干，才会有昂首奋进!

一年的埋头苦读，不仅圆了我的读书之梦，让我拥有了一个崭新的人生起点，而且还大大地减轻了爸爸妈妈的负担，也让我哥哥有了通过高考复读上大学的机会。可谓一举三得，不亦乐乎!

没有暴风雨的洗礼，怎会有彩虹的绚丽多姿!

When I was in middle school, I heard the English song Baby One More Time. Then I saw the music record, the girl was so sweet and pretty. She danced so well in the record, she was full of energy. Since then, I fell in love with Britney Spears, every girl wanted to be her. She was not only beautiful, but also could sing and dance so well. Britney Spears was my early idol, her energetic image attracted me so much. I was so crazy about her at that time. I believe that in every teenager’s dream, they will have an idol.

一直都想写我的英语老师，只是因为觉得学习不好，颇感内疚，不好意思来写。用我妈妈的话来说，他就是一个小男孩，我应该叫哥哥的。

他说话的样子十分夸张。他跟我们说在另一所学校里做班主任时，他安排的座位非常合理，因此学生成绩提高很快。我当然理解他的自豪，但我也理解我的班主任为何不采用。因为丁老师谈建议时的神情就像一只狗伸着舌头，流着口水，教一只猫如何分配自己盘中的鱼。明明一张很英俊的脸，有棱有角，鼻梁挺直，眼睛凹下，嘴唇也很性感。你不知道呀!他生气时目光看向远方，深沉而坚定，加上魁梧的身材，就像一位年轻的法老，站在他的城墙上，指点江山。可是除了生气时像个男人外，其他时候就是个小男孩了，大笑起来嘴很夸张地向上翅起，就像卡通画，让所有的人都可以感受到他的快乐。若是说到什么好事，他就像大公鸡似的炫耀他的两根粗粗的眉毛向上飞扬，眼中不时闪着像星星一样的光点，还手舞足蹈的，唾沫横飞，经常唾到前排同学的脸上。被人夸奖的时候，又显得女里女气的，十分腼腆。每次开考前，他在教室门外，他的嘴角像一只红色的狐狸，在雪中伸着一只爪子，望着一只兔子。

英语老师姓丁，家在阳曲，可能地理位置有些偏辟，所以考出来不大容易。本来在另一所中学里教高中，后来考入我校，校长让他教初中。这让他十分失望，有时还在学生中露出了像李白一样怀才不遇的痛苦和颓唐。有时又高兴地告诉我们，我们是他教的第一拔学生!?

可能是刚刚带学生，他有年轻老师的激情，为我们自费复印英语资料，很喜欢在读英语课文时，一边作着奇里古怪的样子，一边发出奇里古怪的声音。有时上课，讲着讲着就讲起了自己的自传，于是常常在自我的唾沫星子中陶醉得难以自拔。上他的课让我感到十分的快乐和高兴，只是因为成绩不好而十分愧对他。不知为什么，我学也学不好，只能在每次考完试以后都躲着他。很亏心很愧疚地面对他对我的微笑，但他从来不说我不好，一次又一次地原谅我。

又一次，语文老师让我们以描写一位老师的神态特征为作业，到了下节课是英语。他进来十分讨好的让我们写他。回家后我写了两篇，有一篇是写他的，到了教室，临交作业时我又拿回了，结果我的另一篇得了第一，上课时他说已看过，可惜不是写他的。到后来越到中考我觉得愧对老师，现在考完了，我却一直想着他，想着欠他的一篇作文。

When I was very small, I always looked forward to the coming of Christmas

Day, because it meant that I would have presents early in the morning. It was

such an exciting thing for me. My mother told me that if I was doing well in the

year, the Santa Claus would give me bonus. I believed in it and I acted

politely. I got my present every Christmas morning and I was so proud of myself.

all, we should recognize our strengths and weaknesses. For example, I am healthy

and fit, so I can work hard. Im also optimistic, humble and polite. These are

my strengths. However, I also have weaknesses. For one thing, Im stubborn and a

little impatient. Im sometimes lazy as well and can spent a whole day just

watching TV and eating junk food. Im not ashamed to admit these bad pints.

Knowing what they are lets me focus on improving myself.
