我的假期生活结束了。这个假期以来，我没有好好的学习，只是一直在玩耍。尽管作业写完了，可是也费了不少心思来玩游戏。旁边还有父母一直在唠叨，我也不服。每天几乎都会挨吵、挨骂，我也受够了!我还是认为在学校的生活比较好些，在家里，每天听着父母的唠叨，听的耳朵起茧子了，还是唠叨得不停;在学校，除老师之外，没有人管，无拘无束，自由自在，自己也舒服些……哎!这个假期，这么快的就过去了，我真怀念我的学校，那所中学，晚上可以在操场上跑步、立定跳远，累了，回到班中休息;下晚自习后，洗个热水澡，躺在床上休息，不知不觉中就能睡着……真怀念小时候的生活，可是一切都过去了，不想长大的我渐渐长大了，珍惜现在的生活，好好学习，这就是我现在的目标了。

“这是心的呼唤，这是爱的奉献-…。”优美的旋律激起我内心的层层波澜，滔滔不断拍打着我的心岸，爱如潮水般涌来，我的思想被爱禁锢了，我的灵魂被吸引了。我不知所措，陷入了沉思。

父母辛苦的把我们拉扯大，看着我们慢慢的成长，之后结婚，有属于孩子自己的家。可是那时候的你们还会记得这个曾经陪伴你多年的家吗?或许到时候你就只是匆匆过客呢，正像徐志摩说的：我挥一挥衣袖，不带走一片文彩。是啊，你没有带走云彩，可是你带走了却是父母的心啊。父母为了我们付出了大半辈子，或许现在你可以理直气壮的对他们说我还小，等我长大了我会养你们。可是你有没有想过，他们需要吗?你可曾问过他们，需要吗?他们需要的就像一首歌曲里面唱的那样，《常回家看看》。是啊，常回家看看，就是一句常回家看看，也成了好多老人的奢望。他们生我们养我们，难道真的只是需要这些吗?他们需要的，就是他们正在付出的，他们为我们付出了大半辈子，难道就不需要我们好好的陪伴他们吗?晚年是孤单的，老人心更是孤单的。有空常回家看看，老人不需要儿女做啥大贡献，需要的还不是你们一句的问候吗?老小孩，也需要我们偶尔的关心啊，今天是妇女节，为什么我们不用颗感恩的心，把它当成回报父母的日子呢!倒一杯茶，帮回家的父母换一双拖鞋，不都是爱的体现吗?回家的时候，记得怀着颗感恩的心和父母说：爸爸妈妈，我爱你…我想那时候你才是真正的长大。

过节日的时候，哪怕你没有勇气打电话给你的父母说声节日快乐，那就发个短信，我相信他们也会很开心的。可是如果你转发了别人的短信，对他们来说，一点也没有感受到你的爱，反而觉得你是在浪费，为什么我们不亲手写一个祝福的短信呢，哪怕只有几个字呢!父母也是人，他们也有感情，请不要忽视他们的情感，请大声说出你的爱，…、

我们都不在是孩子呢，都长大呢。肩上的责任也重了，父母也老了。他们也有动不了的时候啊，他们也又生病的时候啊，不要在依靠他们，让我们快点长大，做父母们的肩膀，让他们可以有所依靠。

我想大声说出我的爱：爸爸，妈妈，我永远都爱你们。不管我在什么地方，哪怕飞的在高，飞的在远，你们也永远都是我最爱的父母。家永远都是我梦中的那个完整充满和谐的幸福之家。一个幸福的一家三口。我爱你们…。永远都是!让我们一起大声的说出爱，让我们都生活在爱的世界里，让爱包围整个世界。

I went to Beijing on my holidays.

I went to Beijing more than eight times. Beijing is the capital of China. It’s a big city. I am very familiar with Beijing. It takes an hour and forty minutes from Nantong to Beijing by plane. There are many tall buildings in Beijing. It’s a modern city. My family visited the Great Wall, the Summer Palace, the Palace Museum, the Beihai Park, the Space Museum, etc. I went to the countryside of Beijing to go boating and fishing. It was very interesting. I went shopping in WangFuJing. I bought lots of souvenirs and other things. I like eating Beijing snacks. They are delicious. Don’t mithe Beijing Duck. It is really nice.

Travel Alone

I think nearly everyone likes traveling. Sometimes we will travel with our friends or families, but sometimes we will travel alone. I believe different ways for traveling will have different feelings. And I prefer travelling alone. Travelling alone is more excited. Just imagine, you go to a beautiful place, but you have never gone there before, so you have to deal all the things by yourself. It is very adventure, right? In addition, travelling alone can avoid many conflicts that will have when travelling in group. Last, watching the same scenery by yourself or with many people will have different feelings. Therefore, sometimes you can think about traveling alone. It is good.

As is clearly shown by the two pie charts, from 1980 to 2004 the students who go traveling and do social practices during vacations increase greatly while those who stay at home decrease a lot. For instance, in 1980, only 9% of the students took advantage of their vacation time to do social practice, but its percentage has been more than tripled in 2004. Obviously, great changes have taken place in the way that college students spend their vacations.

Considering these changes, we can find there are possibly three main reasons. Firstly, with the fast development of economy, many people have become rich, which makes it possible for more students to go traveling. Most parents tend to support their children to travel financially. Secondly, the reason lies in the fact that the boom of tourism has made traveling attractive and, also, modem transportation has made it easier for students to go out to travel. The travel agencies not only provide historic sightseeing but also cultural as well as educational tour around China. What is more important, the fast changing society has raised higher requirements for college graduates. The authorities of Chinese university or college have been encouraging their students to do social practices in the hope that college students would broaden their view to know more about the society and become more adaptable to the future work after they graduate. Therefore, more students go out traveling or doing social practices during the vacations.

As a college student, I think the charts reflect the exciting progress on the college students’ thinking patterns. We have become much mature to realize how to spend our vacations meaningfully and practically. Form the changes in the charts, it is easy for us to predict that more and more college students will walk out their home and throw themselves into more various vacation activities.
