我刚下飞机，就有一股凉风吹来，妈妈赶紧给我穿衣服，说：“小心，不要冷着了。”导游叔叔告诉我们，这可是丽江最热的天气了，丽江常年温度不超过28度，但天气变化多端，现在是晴天，说不定过一会就会下雨了。我心里有点不相信，觉得导游叔叔说得太夸张了，结果，我们受到教训了，在逛丽江古城时，因为没有带伞，我们被淋得像落汤鸡似的，温度快速地下降，有点像广州的冬天，我们冷得瑟瑟发抖。真真实实地感受到丽江一山有四季，十里不同天的气候特点，嘻嘻，看来以后去旅游要提前做好准备。

Very often, we are not conscious enough to realize that one little candy wrapper that we threw outside the bus while travelling could one day contribute to the blocking of the drainage system and could cause flooding in the area; we are not aware enough of the fact that the litter we throw away carelessly might one day turn the place into a trash dump; we are not considerate enough to see the tree we attempt to climb might be over 500 years old and can hardly bear our weight.

I think we should understand that travelling should not be seen as something that is human-centered.

It should be understood that when we travel, we should feel honored that we could still see and enjoy the beauty of the world.

We, as a human being, should be responsible for the few of the remaining beautiful places in this planet. Being responsible doesn’t necessarily mean that we are required to do something grand for the environment. It’s those little things that matter the most. Today, we went to Petrified national park. We went to a trail called Crystal Forest. We saw Petrified wood. They are like gems. By the continental drift, it was hard for plants to survive. How they turned petrified was, they fell in a river and they got covered by ash and they waited to be petrified. I enjoyed the day more than anything.

Today, I visited Hopi land. It was a Hopi village.There were three Dormitories: First Mesa, Second Mesa, Third Mesa. I visited a man named Ernie. He has a workshop. In his workshop are all amazing local jewels. He gave me a Opal. It was violet blue. There is fire in it. Today is a stupendous day!

Today, I went to drive in Monument Valley. We almost bumped our butts off. We made our own monument. We went in Monticello to go tothe restroom. It was a science lab. I copied a wolf on a computer. I also used handles to control tarish liquid that has iron in it. I also also did was control a ball. Last, I made a rose for mom and much more. Today is a supertastic day!

Today, I hiked on a trail in Arches national Park. It was the longest trail I ever hiked on. It was a rocky and dangerous mountain. I was extra exhausted. When I was at the top, WOW! It was an arch called Delicate Arch. It looks like Athena looking over everybody’s eyes to see if they are obeying rules. How can a loose little arch stand so high. So today was a miracle.

Because the depth is various all the time. Maybe the water cant afford you this minute, and then it will flow over your head! Besdieds the swimming, we also had a good meal there. We had a nice seafood dish. I forgot the name of that conch,but I bought back the shell. If you want to have a look, you may ask me. The reason for dishonesty in tourism is various. First and for most, money is the spur. Some travel agencies use all means to cheat their customers in order to get more money. Secondly, to survive in the fierce competition, travel agencies have to make enough profits. To realize profit maximization, they cheat. Last but not least, their victims seem to have little sense of defending their rights.

To regulate travel agencies and protect the rights of tourists, the government has issued various laws. However, I think tourists can take the following tips to avoid travel scams. First, choose a trustworthy travel agency for your trip. Secondly, use your common sense and keep alert while travelling. Finally, defend yourself if your rights are violated.
