There are various activities in the college, such as hiking, gathering, competitions and so on. And what impresses me most is my experience of being a volunteer teacher.

I was a freshman when the School of Foreign Languages organized a voluntary activity which aimed at providing children in poor areas with a better education. As a matter of fact, I did not show any interest in this activity, for I thought that I just wasted my time and energy without getting any pay. But finally I followed the trend and went to the interview for a try. To my surprise, I was eolled as a member of the teaching group. I became quite excited and made up my mind to prepare for the class as well as I could. I read their textbook again and again to make sure that I was familiar with the language points. Fortunately, it didn’t keep me waiting too long. It was a sunny day. And we spent almost an hour in the bus. Although I was tired and sleepy, my enthusiasm overwhelmed my tiredness. The school is a small place full of various books. The children there were so lovely that they left me a deep impression. They keep asking me

I really benefit a lot from the unforgettable experience. I realize that money and some material things should not be considered as the most important thing in our life. It is the self-realization that really makes our life meaningful. Although I did not get any material things from this activity, I was very happy for what I did for the children. When all the busy things are over, the rest is playing! My mother is going

to take me to an English summer camp. Every day there are many colorful

activities, such as swimming, parachute jumping, jungle jumping, cycling and so

learn how to cook all kinds of delicious dishes. I also need to learn how to

cook noodles. In this way, I wont have to go out and "forage" when my parents

这时，上课铃打了。我装着叹了一口气说：“这道题我也不会做。”她听完后犹豫了一下，似乎知道了什么，狠狠地瞪了我一眼，奔向了自己的座位。

试卷发下来了，我一看，那道题果然在，而且分值还不小。我定了定神，将试卷轻松地做了出来。两节课过去了。交了试卷，我得意的走出教室，这时陈晨气呼呼地走到我面前，狠狠地骂道：“小气鬼，这样你就可以多的10分了是不是!你还算不算是朋友吗?”说完，她将一张纸仍向我，然后头也不回的走了。望着她远去的身影，我难过极了。摊开手，纸上写着十个字：我们不要再当好朋友了!看着这些字，我的泪水在眼眶里打转······

这就是难忘的一件事!

days and days past, i’m not a child any longer. but i still remember that halloween, 31st october 2017. that was saturday. i went to study english with an american girl named debby as usual.

we had 5 students altogether. before that week, debby had already told us to learn something about halloween ourselves. on that day, debby spent an hour describing this american festival for us, such as “trick or cheat”, pumpkin and even, she took a pumpkin with her. first she took out a finished pumpkin lantern.

that was really beautiful and ugly, we liked it so much. then she taught us how to make a pumpkin lantern by ourselves. we each held a small knife, learnt to cut and draw something on that pumpkin. finally, we made it and put a short candle into it. that was truly happy. and the most surprising thing was that the lantern was a present for that day’s super student. who will that be? my god! that was me!

Although I’ve had a busy school life in the past three years, getting along with such amazing classmates has made me the luckiest person in the world.
